Update: this places customer service is 10/10. I didn't have an issue with the place or food my first visit, it was the service. They more than made up for the poor service by reaching out and trying to understand what went wrong so they can improve experiences. The touch and communication was appreciated. This was my first time coming here and my last. The food was just ok, nothing to say that I would come back again too. Nothing much to say about the service because we were the only customers there, what I will say is that the portions were small and the prices were pretty high for the size of the burrito we got. I love tacos- I've lived in Los Angeles for over 10 years and there is a high bar for Mexican food. I have to say, this place slapssssss hard. I drive out of my way to come to this part of town for this place. To be honest, I probably wouldn't ever come to this part of Los Angeles proper so I get why people could be skeptical but trust me.... Worth it. The chipotle mayo is fire and the variety of keto, vegetarian and SHRIMP options is actually pretty healthy. I would know, I have six pack abs and I don't get that way by eating filth. The vibe here is great! I was in town and my cousin loves to come here so we decided to stop by for lunch and some drinks. The food was really fresh and came out piping hot. I tried there regular street tacos, wanted to see if meat had flavor, I tried 3 basic tacos asada, alpastor lengua. They lacked flavor and that's with me putting lime and salt. Two things that were good were the asada and al pastor guacamole appetizers. The place is side looks very chill they have music playing walls have old school singers and comedians. Tacos Los Desvelados was recommended to my coworkers and I by someone so we stopped here after an event. When walking in, the server gave us menus and helped us. She wasn't necessarily the friendliest but she also wasn't rude. In all honesty the food wasn't my favorite but my team seemed to like it. They got tacos and I got flautas de carnitas. The carnitas was pretty dry and plain but all the sauces on the outside gave it more flavor. The cheese sauce was not the greatest in my opinion. Kind of like a nacho sauce. They also came on a bed of lettuce and nacho cheese sauce so will 100% be getting it with no cheese if I return. Inside, they are BLASTING Spanish music. You can barely hear yourself think. Regardless though, it was good music and the ambiance is cool if you're looking for somewhere loud to sit and avoid conversations Overall, would return if invited but would try something else! Being a food snob of lived in LA for over 15 years there is no better taco experience than coming here. The portion sizes are unbelievable.
