There are so many limo companies around that it can be difficult to know where to start. There is often little information regarding pricing, availability, options, etc. A lot of time was spent looking at about eight different companies, until I settled on Destiny. Why?
1. Their website contains a decent amount of information. While it could be better (with proper, arranged fleet photos and vehicle descriptions) it gave me a good overview of what they had available.
2. When I called, information was available right away. I wasn't told to wait until tomorrow, or to email them, or to go through some long process. I was given pricing, their availability and more details on the vehicles as requested. Having someone that is both helpful and knowledgeable on the phone is important to me.
3. They accommodated a last minute booking, and even more last minute changes. I called in the evening to book for the next night. I then called the day of to make two changes, both to the type of limo and the pickup time. While I hate doing that, circumstances prevailed. Both times, they were friendly and accommodating. Changes were allowed within their availability, and the vehicle change was no problem at all.
4. Billing and reservation information was straightforward. I received an email from their reservations system laying out the type of limo, pickup and drop off details, and all other pertinent information. I could print off this sheet and have everything in my hand - no need to scribble notes or call to confirm anything.
What bugged me?
They include a payment form for using a credit card. You can fill it out and send it in for pre-payment. However, there is no fax number or email address. When I had it all filled out and signed, I called to ask about pre-paying (so we could just get in and go) and was told that we still had to give a card imprint to the driver. This means the time spent on the form was a waste, and I don't feel that the requirement was made clear at the outset.
However, even with the gripe, they did great. The limo arrived on time and both ends, was comfortable and was even priced competitively. We don't have many limo needs, but if it arises in the future we will be calling Destiny. read more
