The "taste of the valley full day tour" is absolutely the way to go! My girlfriend and I had the best time getting taken to three different wineries by Diane. The drive and stops were gorgeous and the lunch was delicious. The last stop was capped off by an intimate private tasting for just us. We would do it again without question. read more

I booked Destination Vine for my daughter and I for end of August. We choose the wine tour with horseback riding of the Santa Ynez Valley area and a visit to two wineries. Our cowboy was very knowledgeable of the area and was very friendly. Afterwards we enjoyed a tasty charcuterie plate that was so delicious. From there we visited Robles winery and enjoyed a wonderful lunch where Melanie catered to our needs and brought our wine tastings out to us! Next, onto Grassini to taste some fine wines. You must try the Savaughn blanc, it is my all-time favorite wine now. Melanie Castriotta was exceptional. She treated us like royalty by providing us exceptional service. She packed our wines, took pictures and provided us with the history of the area. My daughter and I plan on returning with our husbands in the near future. read more

We had an amazing day with the folks at Destination Vine. We visited a few private some wineries in Santa Ynez. Melanie is the absolute best. She is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about wines and the Santa Barbara area. Her impeccable taste to detail is very impressive. The selection of wine she made were perfect to pair with her lunch selection of cheeses, Italian grapes, salamis, prosciuttos, various infused dried fruits including dates, dried plums and various light breads. Destination Vine recently arranged a family gathering in Paso Robles. From the accomodations (a great craftsman bungalow in town), wineries ( larger wineries - Halter Ranch and Adelaida. smaller - Herman Story and Desperada) and transportation - attention to detail was excellent.
