The dinner itself brings you on a real journey of flavors, and it is one that is never repeated twice. From the first light stop of a variation of bruschetta, that holds creamy textures and the real sweetness only homemade bread can bring, it glides you to a second course. Four to five bite-size appetizers are introduced to your palate in a manner that is akin to meeting new strangers. The variability of seafood, to the freshness of salads with seasonal combinations, to traditional tastes of Northern Italy, and the occasional heartiness of street food. We then move to our next stop, that of the one of the two main courses. Usually, as all stereotypes tend to say, a dish of pasta is served. However, there is a full range that is thoroughly explored. New landscapes of flavors are married, from saffron and blueberry to black garlic and cocoa, and many more. Yes, the traditional side is honored as well, from the chef's own region of Piedmont and its abundances in mountainous recipes and ingredients, alike the winter season that overtakes the North. To even a fully celebrated and homey wild boar ragù Bolognese, spaghetti alla Nerano, or to a pesto Genovese. It lingers on the buds, and it grows with a sense of warmth that provides a blossoming curiosity.

I only loved the gnocchi. The meats were not good & the seafood ceviche was too fishy. My biggest complaint is that not one dish was hot. All lukewarm. I appreciated presentations, but was underwhelmed for the price. Too many other Italian restaurants to go with delicious food.....

It's just fun to walk around in the store, but trust me, you wont leave empty handed! There is always something that you didnt know existed, but you have to have one. Last night I attended one of their cooking demonstrations. Despite the small area, it was so much fun and the food that was prepared was delicious! I enjoyed it so much, that I immediately signed up for another class for next week! The staff is delightful, the store is charming.

This is a boutique kitchen store located in my little town of Milford. I've been telling just about…read moreeveryone I know about this place ever since it opened. And, It's most definitely worthy of a road trip! Especially if you appreciate kitchen stores. They do have a wedding registry. AND, I've also used this for Christmas gifts for my mother-in-law the last two Christmas holidays. Made me so happy to be able to get things that she would love. AND, it's worth noting that my mother-in-law is a very savvy shopper (I am missing the shopping gene) and she absolutely LOVES this place. A few years ago Acorn Farms carried these super cool lily pad shaped, rubbery styled bowl covers that were pretty cool. I think my mother-in-law personally sold about 30 of those things cuz she told everyone she knows about them. I bought a couple too and they're fabulous because you can use them to seal just about any bowl! This shop carries both beautiful and unique home items along with just about every kitchen gadget you can think of. And their service is unbelievable. Every time I go in there, and my most recent visit was no exception, the staff ALWAYS helps me above and beyond the call of duty. And that's pretty amazing considering that the place is always busy! Only thing I think might bother some people is that the pricing is not discounted. And yet, I personally go out of my way to purchase things here because I like having this store in our community. Oh, this year they had something called 5th Saturday (or something like that) and for any month that had a 5th Saturday, you could go in on that day and fill a bag (that they give you) with things that are then discounted by I think 20%, but I'm not certain. My point is that they are trying to find ways to offer opportunities to reward their good customers and I love that too! I'll be going again soon because they sell beautiful candles and I need one for the kitchen!
