Mahshid had a last-minute opening, and I booked it because I needed an experienced corrective-color specialist. Mahshid's technical skill was clear from the beginning. She quickly identified what needed to be corrected and explained the plan in a way that made sense. She did a root melt, added lowlights, adjusted the tone, and cut my hair so everything blended naturally again. The difference was significant, and the final result looked intentional, full of dimension, and much healthier. Sophie supported the entire process by keeping everything organized, assisting hands-on, checking in with me regularly, and coordinating each step so the appointment ran smoothly. Her attention to detail made a longer service feel so manageable. Ella was also assisting and shadowing and she was so sweet and kind, besides being super gentle while combing and blow drying my hair. I'd also like to acknowledge Nia, who did my consultation the week before. She gave me an honest assessment and encouraged me to take the opening with Mahshid since her own next availability was farther out. That transparency helped me make the right decision. I arrived feeling unsure about whether my hair could be corrected without more drastic measures, and I left with a result that restored both the color and my confidence, for real. I cried at the start from the disappointment on my hair, but then had happy tears at the end for the unbelievable results. This was a straightforward, professional experience with a team that clearly knows corrective work well. I did pay for my service, so the reason I'm writing this review is only because their work truly deserves so much recognition! She was very friendly, told me to have a seat so she could sweep and then welcomed me over to her seat. She was very attentive and receptive to what I wanted done. She told me what she would be doing and I closed my eyes and and thought happy thoughts as she massaged my head during the hair washing and then again, during the start of the hair cutting. She knew I was a little apprehensive so she kept me talking and seemed very genuine when she asked me questions about my kids, and life etc. As she worked she asked me what I thought and made sure that's what I wanted. Very sweet girl. When she was done I asked her to add a little volume to the top of my flat head and without hesitation she did that and once she was all done, I LOVED it! Very happy with Charlotte who by the way added me to her Monday schedule when it's super difficult to find someone! Also very happy with Jenn who was very prompt in returning my email. She also worked with my schedule because I work nights and I need the latest appointment available so I'm sure she had to coordinate with Charlotte. I had to change one of my choices because I went out on a date with my husband and she was sweet telling me to have a great night with him. She could have just ignored that but she chose to add a little bit of personality to what could have been a very impersonal email. That says a lot to me. We had a consultation first where we agreed on the adjustments that needed to be made and I felt immediately comfortable because of how Jennifer inspected each curl. You cross your fingers, eyes, legs, and toes for a good experience, and wait for your appointment. I can confidently say, I was not disappointed. Stephanie of Bettie Bangs met me at the larger salon door, walked me back to her studio, and instantly made me feel welcome. We talked through my previous experiences, discussed future ideas I had, and she gave me a fabulous cut and style quickly and very reasonably priced. The salon itself was clean, cozy, and felt like a place full of friends - as the two stylists chatted between client conversations, interjecting stories and shared experiences.
