I've been MIA on YELP, sadly, but I've decided to come back because I think this business deserves…read moresome kind of a fist-bump-explode action...all I'm saying. Here's the deal: Everytime I go to some networking, social shindig, I make it a point to give my personal biz card (Yes, I said "personal," not to be confused with my professional one). And every single time, the recipient will say, "Oh my, these cards are great...it's so YOU!" Thaaat's right...and that's exactly what I expected from graphic artist extraordinaire, Jenny Domingo, when I asked her to create a business card for me that is quirky, bold, unexpected, and ME. Working with Jenny is a breeze. She listens to what you envision, she gets it, she executes, and she executes it flawlessly. She has an amazing eye for design and color combo, which in my opinion, is ultra important when trying to capture attention. More importantly, you'll get along with her...seamlessly. She is that cool and friendly--so much so, that you wished you knew her in high school. She's unpretentious but remains professional, not in the stuffy sense. Believe me when I say, "You'll like her." Finally, her designs are effective. What do you mean, you ask? Let's put it this way: I was so overjoyed by the final design of my biz card that I posted it on my FB page, and a freelance client hired me on the spot---without even touching the actual business card. I'm telling you...well worth it. Oh, and P.S. Her biz partner Odeen rocks, too.

I strongly dislike leaving a negative review, as I was truly looking forward to working with Mr…read more Mesta Designs for ALL my business projects. Initially, Kris was communicative and professional until I started to question his work. First off, Kris requested full payment before starting any project, which represented an unfamiliar business practice to me, as I am used to a deposit for all work completed for my business and, in some cases, full payment upon project completion. Furthermore, I found his approach very uncomfortable, as it appeared to prioritize finances over the delivery of an "easy and stress-free" experience that his company promotes. Though Kris was detail-oriented and took the time to explain his work, he was centered on charging for his time. When he inquired about the payment for the project on August 19, 2026, I communicated that the predetermined timeframe had not yet arrived, as I had scheduled my follow-up for August 23, 2026, due to a medical procedure. He responded in a defensive manner, stating, "Yeah, yeah. I said almost 2 weeks. We're four days away from it," which I found very unprofessional and inconvenient. Whether the duration was four days or a single day, he violated the timeframe I had established. This behavior reveals that he is primarily motivated by a desire to receive payment. Furthermore, Kris demonstrated audacity by contacting my husband to voice his complaints about my alleged unkindness toward him, while simultaneously expressing disappointment that I "refused" to provide payment for work he had not yet initiated. Why would you be contacting my husband when I am the business owner compensating you for your services? Kris claimed that he needed a "man-to-man" conversation about payment, which is absurd. I would have appreciated professional courtesy rather than being accused of displaying unkindness when I was simply addressing the facts of the situation. Moreover, Kris dismissed his error in mailing out the flyers to himself instead of to my business. He was so focused on his payment that he carelessly mailed out the flyers that I paid for in full to himself. When I confronted him about this, he responded with excuse after excuse without any accountability. What upsets me the most is I had requested to pick up the flyers from his location, which he denied, stating that it was easier and faster to mail out the flyers. This does not make sense because he had dropped of the business cards that he made for us. As a result of his careless mistake, I received the flyers late, which hindered my ability to pass out ALL the flyers by the grand opening. Moreover, Kris disregarded his mistake of mailing the flyers to his own address rather than to my business address. His primary concern appeared to be collecting payment, which led him to carelessly send the flyers--which I had fully compensated for--to himself. Upon addressing this issue with him, he offered multiple justifications while minimizing to accept full responsibility. What troubles me the most is that I had explicitly requested to collect the flyers from him, a request he refused by claiming that mailing them would be more convenient and quick. This rationale is inconsistent with his previous actions, as he had personally delivered the business cards to my business. Due to his careless oversight, I experienced a delay in receiving the flyers, which hindered my ability to distribute the complete quantity of flyers prior to the grand opening event. In addition to his unprofessional behavior, I question the quality of the business cards, as I am experiencing ink chipping or flaking, ruining the text and the great first impression of my business. I am unsure whether this situation occurred due to a malfunction of his equipment requiring repair; however, some of the business cards appeared to have a blue lining defect that required his correction. Among all projects completed by Kris, the tenant panel installation was the most satisfying. Yet, I decided to discontinue business with Mr. Mesta Designs, which is unfortunate given that my business still requires hats, shirts, etc. Nonetheless, I can no longer trust or continue with this type of business engagement.

We researched local providers to help with developing a Logo, Webpage and Business Cards. Jen, from the first phone call, was amazing. We knew nothing except how to order cards. We had ideas and she was forthright, honest and gave great reasoning for why our idea(s) may not work. She said she'd have 3 logos for us to look at in 4 weeks and she was spot on. We decided, with her, on the best design and with minor tweaks we were done. This will be a progression for us and we for sure will be coming back to her in the near future for Website and Cards. However, I've had so many difficulties with Jen Chapman that I can't hold off any longer. She did build a website for me, which is why I gave her two stars, but it was a difficult and frustrating process. After the initial meetings, she would no longer talk to me on the phone but only accepted emails, which she often didn't respond to at all. When she did respond, it was clear that she hadn't read much of what was in them, even tho I made my emails as brief and well organized as I could so they would be clear to her. She ignored many of my requests and seemed to follow her own ideas without regard for what I wanted. There were times it was so difficult to deal with her that I ended up accepting less than I wanted just to get the job completed. The last straw, and why I'm posting this review now, was when I recently emailed her asking for login credentials for my website. My email was friendly and positive, asking how she was and thanking her in advance. Her reply, without any response to my good wishes for her, was simply "I don't have that information any more.". No greeting or signature, just that curt message. A marketing firm who will be working on my website told me that they have worked with web developers for many years and have never ever seen a response like that, or a refusal to help with such basic information. If you're considering Jen, beware. I'm not alone in my opinion; my experience was just like that of another reviewer. There are probably many more out there.
