What made our wedding so special we're the amazing flowers and design that Ashley and her team put together for our special day and night. This review is way overdue. I went to Ashley for my parents' anniversary and she promised me everything and even offered one centerpiece for the entrance table and the money box. She even made a sample centerpiece that I saw and it was ok, but she said the real thing will look way better. On the day of the party my sisters went earlier to make sure they are present when all the vendors came in and they called me and said the center pieces were not what she promised. She didn't bring the center piece for the entrance table and didn't bring the money box. When I called her she said I never asked for any of that and I told her I have the contract and you clearly listed those items. So she ended up having one of her employees deliver the money box and the centerpiece with different flowers. When I got there personally I noticed that she charged me extra for some flowers that she said was more expensive and those were not included in the center pieces. I called her again and again she tried to make it sound like I was lying to her and I said you clearly wrote every single flower in the contract. She again send someone over to add those to the center pieces which was not even enough and you can't even see. All in all everything looked disastrous and I was shaking from anger. She then called me and apologized and said that she was not at the store and that is why everything fell apart and her employees messed up. I told her that your employees had the contract and you told me that everything was made on Thursday and kept in the refrigerator to be transferred on Saturday and she changed her whole story. It's embarrassing how she didn't take the blame and tried to throw her employees under the bus. Also, I had a friend who had an even worse experience and she warned me about her and hers was for her engagement. When I mentioned that to her she said that is not true and she can't remember my friend. Just an FYI she charged me $110 for each of these disastrous center pieces. Also, you can see that the one center piece for the entrance is completely different from everything else because she made it last minute after I complained. Also, she made me pay full in advance and she wanted everything in cash and when I gave her a check she said don't write the name of the business and just right cash on it and she cashed the check the very next day. read more

DO NOT HIRE. Deceitful, disappointing and terrible to work with. Like many other reviews here, the two women that own and run this business are not to be trusted with your wedding or special events. After we signed a contract they continued to ask for more money. Similar to other reviews, she asked fo $4,000 more, with no itemized reason how she arrived to that number. Most of our conversations revolved around her asking for more money rather than the florals or design. First it was $500, then $2000 and then $4000 a month away from our wedding! Terribly unprofessional. They were not only difficult to work with but were deceitful. They promised one thing and when our wedding came, they under delivered. She and her team and myself agreed to specific floral arrangements for our overall wedding look and and confirmed their appearance and on the wedding day- they were not what we agreed on whatsoever. They were sparse, limited in fullness and small. The worst part was the floral arrangement on the entrance door to our wedding venue, it was supposed to have white flowers and greenery and when the wedding day came, it was all branches and sparse greenery. Talk about an embarrassment of craftsmanship and design. SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT. You can tell she does not care about her customers. I would never recommend this business to anyone. After we had booked her, others began to warn us about her and her poor professional skills and ability to deliver. Consider yourself warned. read more

I would have given 0 stars if I could. The business owner does not keep her promises. I have signed a contract and gave her my deposit prior to covid . My wedding was postponed due to covid. She has kept our deposit all this time and now that it is the time for her to deliver her promises she is asking for more. Her excuse is prices have increased for the material due to covid. She is not asking for 1k or something reasonable. She is asking for 4000 more which is not reasonable at all. She is charging us 1.5 times more which I don't think it an honest price. On top of that, she is not refunding us our deposit just because she can't deliver her promises. I signed the contract and I'm willing to pay what I signed for; however, she is bridging her own contract and not refunding us our deposit. How is this deceptive woman still in business? I was looking for a florist in my area when this business came up and color me shocked that she's still around. A few years ago I had ordered table arrangements and chair decor for a baby shower. When the guys arrived with the flowers, I noticed that she had replaced the expensive roses I had specifically requested, and paid extra for, with a cheaper flower of the same color. Also, they refused to bring the arrangements inside and left them in front of the venue. When I asked the delivery people why they weren't going to bring them inside, they said that Ashley said that we needed to pay extra for that service. I called her and I told her that I had never heard of a florist not actually bringing arrangements inside and arranging them. She said that I had to pay the guys $100 each for that service and that I should have known that. Then I brought up the fact that she replaced the flowers and she claimed that she made a "mistake"and that it would all be OK and no one would notice. I asked her if she was going to refund me the price I paid for the actual flowers. She laughed and, not knowing she was on speaker, turned around to somebody next to her and in Armenian said that I was acting like one of "those Russian Armenians who wouldn't know the difference between the good and bad flowers anyway." Unfortunately for her, I, and half of those within earshot, understood what she said. I told her we understood that and all she did was ask if we Russian Armenian or "Iranian Armenian like me." This post is overdue...I was referred to Ashley by my hairdresser. We wanted a larger spray arrangement for my great aunt's funeral, that the mortuary florist was not able to produce. I sent Ashley some pictures, we communicated via text which was convenient since I live far from glendale. I specified the pink colors I wanted , and she was honest saying that pink was in high demand at the time for wedding season. I insisted the arrangement be pink since that was my aunts favorite color. She delivered , and went beyond my expectations. She truly has a passion for her work , and has perfected her skill. She ruined my wedding. Ashley completely refused to listen to me and what I wanted the entire planning process. I showed her picture after picture, described my vision to her, but she just did what ever she wanted. My bouquet was the wrong color, the bridesmaids' bouquets were wrapped in an awful color that clashed with their dresses. The boutonnieres were so large that they were unusable! The guys looked like clowns! The flowers at the ceremony were NOT what I asked for and were completely invisible to the guests- a waste of money. Flowers weren't put on my cake like I asked- so I didn't cut it because it looked so naked and ugly. And flowers weren't in the places I had asked for them to be at the reception venue. The ONLY thing that looked remotely decent were the centerpieces. It was a complete waste of money and her incompetence made me upset on my wedding day- taking away from the joy. When I called her to complain- She tried to blame my dad who picked the flowers up for not saying anything. And she tried to blame me for not calling her out while the wedding was happening to change it. I then told her I wanted a partial refund for the flowers we were missing and the flowers she got wrong (the boutonnieres, ceremony flowers and missing reception flowers) But she never called my Mother in Law who paid for the flowers to give her a partial refund. My MIL paid $6,000 for basically centerpieces and bouquets that were the wrong color! DO NOT USE HER! We've already told everyone we know not to use her but I'm warning you too. I'm amending my previous 2 star review because she didn't give the partial refund she promised. An awful business person all and all. read more

What a gem! I lived in Glendale for over 25 years and passed by this place many many times. Thank goodness for yelp that I found this place. My mother called me in panic to gift wrap an engagement gift and box of chocolates. I panicked as well wondering who would wrap a gift the day before Valentine's Day?!? Well... design Ashely did! She was patient and understanding and reassured me that the gifts would be beautiful in a box with flowers. I was hesitant... it was last minute and it cost $100, but since I needed it for tonight I had no choice, but to trust her. I'm so glad I did! The arrangement looked rich and elegant! Let's talk wedding flowers! While my bridal bouquet came out wonderful and even brought tears to my eye, my centerpiece a were anything but great! I asked for a rustic look with succulents (she tried really hard to get me to do white flowers -that should have been my cue) I should have gone to someone else. It was the week of my wedding and she still didn't have a sample for me, a day before i saw sort of what it may look like (also realized that she had completely forgotten* to do my favors and i had to pay $400 extra to get her to get it done(even though t was supposed to be in our original $5K budget) but I didn't wanna argue. Day of wedding my flowers at church looked amazing but I hated the way my tables looked, and I only had 20 of them- which should be a piece of cake for an Armenian florist! I really could have done a better job myself. I had an amazing photographer but I can't use any of my photos of the tables because they just look so bad :( it's really a shame. The 2 stars are for my bridal bouquet and the church flowers. When it comes to different and unique- just look elsewhere or ask for samples before even booking the entire wedding! Worst florist imaginable. I made the unfortunate decision of hiring Ashley as the florist for our wedding and that was the biggest mistake that could have ever made. To start off she forgot all about our consultation so when I arrived to her store she was closed (that should have been a sign to not go back). Then when I called her she didn't even remember who I was yet she managed to express her endearing love by saying that she "loved me". During our entire consultation she raved about how amazing she is and blablabla and didn't acknowledge a thing I said. After spending a "MEASLY" 7 thousand dollars I was beyond disappointed. The church decor was horrendous and the banquet hall foyer had vases with only water inside (where were ALLLLL those flowers I paid for??) The rest of the centerpieces were nothing like what I requested and my sweetheart was draped with flowers that I didn't want. I would never do business with her even if she was the last florist on earth. Once you go to a consultation you will realize that the consultation is not about you but rather about how magnificent she is. Horrible florist and business women. read more

Oh my God! Horrible! I completely agree with Al, at the initial consultation, Ashley promises you so much and says all these things are included. She is such a LIAR! Example: she said she would provide all the flowers for my wedding cake. The day before the wedding, I needed to pick up those flowers to give to the bakery. When I called, she said all she would provide is a dozen roses. Really?!?! A dozen roses for an entire wedding cake for 150 people?! I mentioned that she had said that all the flowers for the cake would be provided and she said to order a simply decorated cake so the flowers would stand out. She lies and says that she only promised a dozen roses. I had to have my dad go and buy a few dozen roses for the cake. I was furious. This was one of many broken promises. The day of the wedding my mom goes to pick up the bouquets and she calls me and said that Ashley made my bouquet all white when I had said I wanted white and pink. Ashley lies again and said that I had called her after our consultation (where we agreed on a white and pink bouquet) and said I told her I wanted an all white bouquet. Excuse me? I think I would have remembered the call. The bridesmaid bouquets didn't even last through the pictures (which were taken before the ceremony and reception). They wilted! The quality of the flowers was HORRIBLE!!! The day after the wedding I called her to tell her my mom would return the vases the next day and I mentioned the flowers wilting and the centerpieces were different than what I ordered (which she agreed but said they looked better this way but I was not happy cause it was NOT what I ordered). She started SCREAMING at me saying how difficult I was being. I was absolutely livid! Difficult? Maybe because nothing was how she said it would be during the initial consultation. I could not believe the lie she told me next. She said that my mother called her earlier and told her how wonderful everything turned out. WOW! Does she think that I don't communicate with my mom?! I know my mom did not call her to say that because I think my mom was even more upset than I was over the flowers. The reason I called her to say my mom would be dropping off the vases was because my mom didn't want to talk to her so because she was afraid she wouldn't be able to be civil and blow up on her! Ashley did a spectacular job for our wedding on August 4, 2012. She not only did a amazing job with our flowers but here attention to detail was excellent. We had these beautiful foil wrapped chocolate candies decorated with broach like crystal pieces. These were not bedazzled pieces of junk, they were absolutely stunning. Ashley then takes it up another notch and gave us about 2 dozen mini champagne glasses also decorated with crystal ribbons and mini broaches. The 2 crystal Cinderella like carriages provided at my wife's house which held her diamond like wedding shoes were absolutely stunning, they almost brought on a few joyful tears amongst the ladies. Ashley has vividly proven to pour her heart and soul not only into her professional talents but also into us and our very special wedding day. She was not just our florist, she was like our best friend and gave us everything we could of asked for and more. Ashley....
