Working with Keridwyn to address my lifelong fear of public speaking was genuinely transformative…read more In my leadership roles, speaking publicly is not optional, yet it has always triggered intense physiological dysregulation for me. Keridwyn provided practical, immediately applicable tools that helped me regain control of my body in high-pressure moments, which alone would have been invaluable. What set her apart, however, was the depth and rigor of her approach. She didn't treat my fear as a surface-level confidence issue; she approached it as a complex, layered pattern shaped over decades. With intellectual precision and care, she helped me understand the underlying drivers of my anxiety and systematically worked through them. No aspect was overlooked. The result was not just improved performance, but a meaningful rewiring of how I relate to public speaking altogether. I HIGHLY recommend her!

I really enjoyed the guided meditation, I have a hard time relaxing so it was lovely to finally feel that release. Over the course of our visits the hypnotherapy section of it became less of my focus as I truly enjoyed talking with Denise and working through any issues I was having. I appreciated so much that she was direct and told me realistically what I should or shouldn't do, or questioned fairly why I was looking at or reacting to an issue a certain way. It's like the therapy I've always wanted and often refer to her as my therapist. I was still smoking while attending these hypnotherapy sessions to quit, but something must have stuck in my subconscious because one morning I woke up and just didn't want/need to smoke anymore. I never would have thought that was going to be my response. I assumed it would be a gradual decrease or rife with cravings and restraint. I can't say whether my results are normal, but it has been fantastic- I am now a year without and have had no cravings for it at all.

The sessions themselves were relaxing and thoughtfully guided, and I always felt supported and respected during our time together. However, I hired her specifically for weight loss, and unfortunately, I did not lose any weight despite committing significant time, effort, and money to the process. I truly wanted this to work -- but it simply did not produce results for me. I understand that hypnosis may work very well for some people. It just wasn't effective in my case, and I wish I had known sooner so I could have redirected my time and money elsewhere. If you're looking for a caring practitioner and are curious about hypnosis, she may be a good fit. If your primary goal is measurable weight loss, I would recommend going in with realistic expectations and understanding that results are not guaranteed.

I saw Connie for the first time last Spring about some anxieties I was having about a relationship and in just one 2 hour session it was gone. Gone gone. Gone in such a way, it seemed silly and inconceivable that I ever got anxious about the relationship at all. Which then gave me the capacity to fully enjoy every moment and my relationship has flourished ever since. A few months after that - I decided I wanted to tackle another "issue" - and her work with that was again so magical and instant that I've been seeing her once a month to "tick off", one by one, any other obstacles that had been in the way of my goals. One of my favorites was in September - I saw her b/c my frustration with a co-worker had reached a breaking point, and I couldn't even stand to be in a meeting with him b/c my blood would boil out of frustration and annoyance and it was starting to affect my own performance. My feelings were so intense that even though I knew Connie's work would help calm me down to the point where I could tolerate him - I didn't expect what happened. After my session with Connie - the next time I had a 1:1 with this co-worker, not only was I NOT annoyed with him in the slightest - I actually found myself appreciative of his qualities that used to annoy me - because with the cloud of frustration (and nearly anger) gone - I was actually able to see the unique value and perspective that he brought AND I could finally see that he appreciates and values me and my perspective as well. Magical. Highly recommend.

She is encouraging, effective, extremely responsive, kind when I forget the code (every time), she is professional but not in an uptight way and not overly "love and light" either, she is a great mix of both and does an amazing job. My sessions with her have been extremely helpful in the areas I've needed help with and in all aspects of my life. You may go for one reason say weight loss but you end up feeling better in all areas of your life. She asks the right questions to make you see things you didn't even realize were connected to what you are working on. Also, if I don't do my action items I'm not scolded like a little child, we figure out why I wasn't motivated to help myself. I think at times I forget that she is a guide not law enforcement (parent). She is worth every dollar I've spent and she is affordable enough that I can see her when I need to with some planning. I will never seek another hypnotherapist now that I have found her!!

What she…read moreprovides is a very structured, compassionate approach to dealing with deep-seated issues that aren't easily managed using adult logic. I'd been struggling with aversion that felt irrational. Our first session was game-changing. Hypnotherapy is not different from other therapy I've done, and it dovetailed nicely with my meditation and yoga mindfulness practice. It involved entering a deep state of relaxation and accessing my subconscious to achieve an understanding of the cause of my aversion and provide alternative behaviors. I remembered everything about my sessions and though my session was emotional I left feeling truly refreshed. A second "tune-up" session helped me sort out a few related issues. And the use of a reminder object has become an everyday reminder of my progress. Kira has a calm, encouraging manner. I felt welcomed and understood at every turn: having her was like having a coach who could see the big picture AND a fan wanting to see me succeed. Highly recommended for those long-term "unsolvable" or "irrational" issues that crop up and interfere with the day to day.

For privacy reasons, I won't mention the reasons for my seeing her, but I will say I had been feeling "stuck" in my life and other methods of therapy weren't working, so I thought "might as well." She is the first and only hypnotherapist that I have seen, and I found her to be very effective in our work together. Her website is helpful in listing some things she treats- from anxiety to anger to hypnobirthing classes. I began by shooting her an email and discussing what I wanted to work on to make sure she was the right fit. I recommend reaching out sooner rather than later, as she fills up quickly. I had about a 4 wk wait to see her for my first time; then she gets you in regularly as needed. The office itself is comfortable and relaxing. There is plenty of street parking right out front. Kira is always prompt and professional, which I greatly appreciate. I would describe her style as warm, friendly, and caring. She has a calming voice, which I assume is pertinent to the profession. She is also direct and helpful, and she offers tools and recordings to utilize outside of session. I have found them to be useful. But again, it will depend on your reasons for seeing her, as I assume these things vary. Most importantly for me, I leave every session feeling like I learned something new about myself. That is a MUST for me in my journey. I found her prices to be competitive with others. The only downside to hypnotherapy is that insurance doesn't cover it. But on the bright side, you only go in for a few sessions so you're spending less in the long run. I think it's worth the investment. No doubt, Kira deserves 5 stars. I appreciate all of her help and hope everyone else has an equally positive experience with her.
