Going to HealthWise Hypnosis has truly been the best gift I have ever given myself. I've struggled with my weight for about 6 years; I've tried every diet, every exercise program imaginable and along the way I always get discouraged and give up. I recently had my best friend recommend hypnosis to me for my weight gain (which also lead to depression). My friend lives in Washington State and I've recently moved out of state. Going into this, I thought maybe I was cheating. I have struggled with not exercising, over eating, and low self-esteem. So, going to Hypnotherapy was a way of cheating, because I just wasn't trying hard enough. However, I am 45 pounds overweight, I haven't exercised in over a year (not even 1 attempt to go for a walk), I over eat and feel crappy about it! I needed help. I struggled with my weight since my early thirties. I've been on just about every diet out there. You name it I tried it. I was able to lose weight but always gained it back plus more and just got heavier and heavier. Now I am in my late 60's and am worried about my health. It also seems like any will-power I had is gone. I decided to try hypnosis and so far, with seemingly no effort I am losing weight. I still have a lot of weight to lose but I have lost 15 pounds and know that I will lose everything I need to. I went to just 3 sessions and found that as long as I listened to the tapes once a day it reinforced Laura's sessions. I now naturally gravitate toward fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, and lean proteins. The cravings for sweet or salty snacks are just gone.
