A really fun Indian street food place in jersey city!!! We got the live pani puri, misal pav, and ragada samosa. All of the food was really good!!! We also got the chikoo shake, sitaful shake, and mango lassi. The mango lassi was a bit too thick but the taste was good. The chikoo and sitaful shake exceeded my expectations because it tasted really close to Indian fruit!! The owner said they get their fruit from Indian so it tracks, but it was still shocking!! Overall loved this place and it had a fun vibe as well!

Loved the paneer tikka rolls! Their pani puri is also solid. They had 5 flavors with a variety of sweet and savory! lWould recommend those!

We had the Vada Pav, Pani Puri and Chole/Kulcha - all three dishes were good.

There were a large variety of choices for the buffet, and I tried a little bit of everything. It was all cooked well and wonderfully flavorful with tons of warm seasonings. Stand outs included butter chicken, noodles, curry, and tandoori. I would have liked more seafood options and meat other than chicken though. The Naan was served warm and slightly crisp, while still being soft. I decided to also order a drink called Shahi Falooda. Since I never tried it, I didn't know how it was supposed to look, even though I thought the presentation was a bit weird, as there were pieces of toast dredged in the liquid. When I tried it, there seemed to be all the flavors described, including rose almond milk, tutti frutti, and vanilla ice cream. It tasted creamy, sweet, and unique, with the ingredients mingling well together. Service was definitely lacking. When the bill came, it was listed as a dessert, so I inquired about it. The waiter responded that they did not have the beverage available, so served me something else instead. This really irked me that the waiter would knowingly do this without mentioning up front that they were out of the beverage, allowing me the free choice to either order another drink or not get one at all. The waiter then told us it would be taken off the bill, but a different waiter came out to inform us that the manager would not allow that. While the food was actually pretty good, this was a very upsetting experience and I will not be returning. At least this taught me to always speak up when I have a doubt or question about anything I order.

Well, luck finally swung my way, and I found myself able to experience the hype for myself one sunny Sunday afternoon. - Punugulu: A delectable starter of deep fried num nums (yes, I said "num nums") made with urdal dal and rice. Complex layers of flavor paired with extremely fresh chutneys = win - Kutti Kutti Dosa combo: Do yourself a favor--even if you're dining all by your lonesome--and just get this combo so you maximize the things to try. This adorable selection of mini taco-sized dosas came with: 1) Jini Dosa: A rice crepe filled with mixed vegetables and the chef's special sauce, sprinkled with cheese on top. Scrumptious 2) Masala Dosa: A classic for a reason, and this was filled with all the cumin- and mustard-infused starch you could hope for 3) Gun Powder Dosa: The more picante cousin to #2, and boy were they generous with the seasoning. 4) Unknown Masala Dosa: I can't remember the name of this one, but it had a different flavor profile from the others--deeper and creamier. Beverage-wise, you can't go wrong with the classic Masala Chai, which wasn't too sweet, or the incredibly thick, housemade Mango Lassi. I would avoid the housemade Watermelon Juice, though, as it had way too much sugar added. Stroll by at 11am-11:30am on a weekend, and you might have a shot at getting in on the first seating. Might.

I wish that they offered some sort of lunch special, but unfortunately they only have one set menu. They had a lot of seating, and a lounge area as well. I ordered the Deccan special biryani. It comes with boneless chicken, which is actually a favorite of mine that not a lot of places offer. The biriyani was really good, one of the best I've had in a while. It's perfectly spiced and flavorful with a generous portion. It can easily be shared between 2 or 3 people. Overall, I plan on coming back when I'm in the area. The biryanis in Manhattan do not compare to this. I personally do not prefer the Dum style biriyani, so I was very happy the special was a regularly prepared dish. However, they do offer dum biryani as well.

There was a male server who brought us our food- very polite and pleasant. I would say take out is a better option than going there in person.

Holding it or tasting it gives a substantial, high-quality feel. Green Tea: The highest praise Chinese people can give for desserts--not sweet--and it truly tastes like green tea, not matcha. The refreshing bitterness was incredibly pure, even bordering on slightly bitter, which is extremely rare in the US. Vanilla Peanut Butter: Very milky, but extremely salty, like eating peanut butter spread on bread. The vanilla flavor was almost completely masked. Coconut & Cream: I've always trusted American coconut ice cream, but this time it was a bit of a disappointment. The cream completely overshadowed the coconut, so much so that it took me a long time to recall what flavor I actually ordered. Ube: One bite brought back childhood memories, exactly the same as the ube flavor Wuyang五羊 ice cream cone. It was so touching I didn't order this in the end since I want to try more flavors as possible. I don't know why, but ube flavor seems to be gradually fading in China... Blueberry Cheesecake: The initial taste was a rich, sweet cream, with a refreshing hint of blueberry tartness in the aftertaste. It's pretty good, but honestly, it's not particularly outstanding. Banana Peanut Butter Chunk: The staff recommended this signature dish, and it once again made me realize how subjective taste can be... It's on the sweeter and saltier side, with a very strong flavor, but more importantly, it has a noticeable artificial banana flavor.
