When we arrived, I definitely was not expecting the alpacas to be free roaming!! They were so cute and obviously well taken care of and loved. I bought some alpaca food for $5 and it was a big portion that kept me and my family busy. All of the staff was friendly and very accommodating. It was a hot day without shade but we didn't have much of a problem.

There is also an option to "glamp" in the tent provided by the farm. The alpacas and a few other animals are free roaming and will greet you at your campsite or the petting zoo area. If you have food they will definitely come! It was so much fun interacting with the animals on this farm. We camped for the night and in the morning we were greeted at our van by the old donkey on the farm. The alpacas are the main star though, so friendly and adorable! We brought our dogs with us and the alpacas were very curious to meet them. They followed us around the farm for quite a while. I literately fell in love with this place and I can't wait to go back!!! There were even twins goats born the hour before we arrived. What's not to love about this amazing place. I feel lucky to have experienced it!

They…read moreset up a long ticket booth to the right of the entrance with nice winding queue line, divided into Prepaid and Purchasing lines. I was surprised to see how they pushed the entrance area past the barn, but totally makes sense for those who may want to just stop by to shop and not want to enjoy the festivities. The staff were all friendly and kept up with keeping the animal pens clear of poop, especially for the petting ones. They had signage to designate which ones you could feed the animal food to and which ones you couldn't enter due to the animals resting. I really liked how they sectioned off all the animals off to the left side with its own entrance and exit and lots of sanitizing and handwashing stations nearby. They had some new things at the farm too. I saw signage advertising Cuddling with Calves for $20 (kids 8+). They also had some additional calves to see and pet along the way. So adorable! Outside of the animal area, they had a new section, Peacock Pedalers, that allowed kids and adults to ride tricycles around. They also had refreshment stations within the farm for drinks, kettlecorn, and other snacks, which made it convenient. What surprised me was that the features that were typically busy on our past visits, like the mini zip lines and the barrel ride, were very little to no waits. They offered lots of seating for taking a break and grabbing some food from the three food trucks they offered. The pulled pork nachos were yummy! It was a great deal to spend the day at the farm for $20 tickets. Yes, they offered lots of additions like the animal feed, train tickets, and gem sluicing for a price but not really necessary to have a great experience. The baby chicks and goats were the highlight of our visit. My daughter wants to go back next weekend!

Came here for tulip picking and it was a cute experience overall…read more We went mid-day and it wasn't too crowded, which I loved. The only downside was the wind, a lot of the tulips were either dead or hadn't fully bloomed yet, so it took a little digging to find good ones. We still ended up with some pretty tulips though! And I have to say, their care tips actually work. The penny and ice water made such a difference and perked them right up. I'd come back again, just would try to go earlier in the season next time!

I called back & asked a question & he just stopped speaking to me and started talking to people I guess in his busy line? I patiently wait for him to return to the phone (btw he never said please hold on mam or anything for that matter) he returns and barks "what do want!" I said EXCUSE ME! I had a few more questions bc I am confused and he yells again SO what do you want?? I told him well i already asked you my question but you cut me off and started speaking to someone else so I'm actually waiting for your answer. He tells me then they are busy& have customers bla bla and I said well sir I am a customer as well and your phone # is listed on the website to contact. I told him the online prices were different from what he told me and he says well I don't know where you found that. On your website! I say! I then say just want to double check that I don't have to pay an additional amount on top of a bracelet for the bounce house bc other customers claimed so on yelp. Boy he didn't like that he snaps at me and says it's 15$ bracelet all rides included-$20 for pony ride plain and simple WHAT did I JUST TELL you?! He is yelling at me people no joke! Mind you their website says it is $22 and you get a book of 20 tickets. There's also an entrance fee listed $5 for one area $10 for a different area and $20 for all areas plus tickets. So you can see why I was clearly confused! Plus on Yelp reviews listed all kinds of other prices! Oh and when I brought up yelp stating diff prices he tried to deny that being their company lol prob bc he was embarrassed at their ratings but now I see why everyone said on here the owners/employees are so rude I mean this guy was by far the rudest man I've ever encountered for a business! I lost count how many times he snapped at me "WHAT DO YOU WANT!"

Pan for gold, explore the creek, hike, feed the cows, chickens, play with the dogs, and cats. All great family activities. My family and I totaled 8, and we were looking to spend some time together cooking and enjoying the outdoors. We rented the cottage at Willow Creek Ranch which was rustic and warm with all of the farm feel. Chicken imagery was throughout from the throw pillows to the game of Farmopoly. There was a gas stove to cook with, washer and dryer, plenty of beds, fridge, counter top oven and microwave. All of the amenities that we could want. Plus, if we forgot any ingredients for cooking, Cathie was next door to save the day. During the winter season, we visited California Cavern State Historic Landmark which was a short drive away. Also, Bear Valley ski resort was about an hour away (Do not take Sheep Ranch Road as Google may suggest, but take Mountain Ranch road back down to 49 and then 4 all the way to Bear Valley. Sheep Ranch road was a bumpy narrow back road with tons of curves.) I will be looking forward to the summer where at night we can roast marshmallows and eat popcorn at the backyard movie theater, swim in the pool, and care for the farm animals. Cathie and John are excellent hosts and make Willow Creek Ranch a memorable experience for everyone on the farm.

We had a great time petting cows, and dogs, and cats, and chickens. They were so mellow and friendly. The baby cows are especially adorable! The owners are also wonderful, friendly people. We enjoyed listening to their farm stories over a home-cooked breakfast. Some tips: if you have rain boots, wear them! I just wore my regular boots. Not smart. Also, there's a cute little cottage you can stay in. We were only there for the morning so we didn't sleep there, but it looked comfortable and apparently could fit a lot of people. I would recommend to anyone who wants to have a fun, low-key farm experience!
