Wish I could give zero stars. I had a bone density scan scheduled for today, but since they could not guarantee that the radiologist who would read the scan would definitely be in my insurance network, I walked out. One week prior to my scheduled appointment, I was contacted by this imaging center to say that my insurance would cover the procedure. I asked them to double check on this since I had been given different information from a different person at this center. The rep agreed and said she'd call to let me know. I never heard from her. I called twice and had to leave voice mails that were never answered. In addition, I contacted Banner two days before the procedure and was told to leave a message so they could return my call. Again, this never happened. This morning, my insurance company (Blue Cross Blue Shield) contacted this center and asked that they find out if the radiologist was in-network and let me know before driving 30 minutes for my appointment. Again, this never happened. For me, it is absolutely inexcusable to fail to answer four telephone calls.
This is the correct address of the facility I was at today, but they are now called Banner Outpatient Imaging Center. read more
