The one frustration I have was the process for setting up the appointment, and going through the registration process. They had trouble finding the order of the Dr sent in and connecting that to my appointment, and they asked me to fill out paperwork when I arrived that I had already completed online. For this visit, I had the bone density scan, and mammogram, and that process was very efficient and as pleasant as can be under those circumstances.

I like that I was able to speak with one representative that handled the scheduling and when I needed to change my appointment I called her directly and was able to change it. I was running a little late, but this did not bother the staff and I was able to turn in my paperwork and be seen quickly. The technician that did my mammogram was very professional and kind. She eased my mind and made the scan quick and easy. So glad that I came to Simon Med for my annual mammogram!

However, not a lot of places offer this special ultra sound because only certain technicians are able to perform it... Anyways, this location had someone available to do it so I came here for that. The technician was nice and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. The procedure room was extremely clean! Unfortunately, the results were a kind of a draw because the images were not great and I had to go get an MRI. I wouldn't recommend getting that kind of ultrasound but I would recommend this imaging facility.

To clarify I was getting injections at this place and last year it was reasonable at 200 dollars. I know insurance changes etc. But 300 dollars for 20 minutes of sedation just seems extreme. Also, they did not even seem to care about withdrawals. I honestly thought this place cared about me and my health but with their lack of communication and setting me up for surgeries that I wasn't even privy to just sounds bad in my head.

We then called the Alignment Health Insur Co and was told Alignment pays the 'FULL' amount and put me on hold while the made the phone call to Radiology Ltd's BILLING PERSON!!! To make it 'CLEAR' Alignment pays for everything!!! Alignment came back on the line and advised it was taken care of with the billing representative for Radiology Ltd. All seemed good. BUT!!! ...Yesterday!!! We got the 'BILL' in the mail again. I called Radiology LTD again, but now they have many calls that are routed to another country. So requested to speak to a U.S. Office, ...finally got through to one..., and explained the issue. That Radiology Rep did find where 'their' payment from ALIGNMENT INSURANCE WAS MISHANDLED BY RADIOLOGY LTD AND SHE SAID SHE CLAIMED TO HAVE FIXED THEIR ( Radiology Ltd's ) ERROR. But today, a day later!!! we get a USPS NOTICE to SIGN FOR A COLLECTION LETTER FROM RADIOLOGY LTD. So will call Alignment and Radiology Ltd ''AGAIN' and try to get them to communicate!!! Done for now and will update later!!! Okay, just got off the phone with ALIGNMENT, they said they sent an EOB to Radiology Ltd on 1/12/2026. Radiology Ltd asked for the EOB ON 1/11/2026. So it seems like a hand shake was made. Plus alignment said they sent it to all the possible FAX numbers they had for Radiology Ltd, but possibly Radiology Ltd has yet another FAX NUMBER TO FORWARD MY WIFE's coverage to. I've had a nice experience with the staff at this location for imaging needs. Here's the issue I had the past week: I've had a brain scan appointment scheduled and reschedule 3 separate times due to errors or mistakes on the part of SimonMed. It's been so frustrating that I asked my neurologist to refer me to another company for my brain scan. Even though this may push out the scan further than with SimonMed, I cannot give them my business based on principle now.

I didn't realize I was claustrophobic until I was being sent head first into an MRI machine. I…read morestarted panicking and the tech pulled me out. We tried again, but this time it was worse. She recommended finding an open MRI place and asking for a new referral to one of those locations. A quick Google search pulled up Advanced Open MRI of Tucson. I got all the needed calls made and referral was good to go. I spoke with Adam by phone and he was reassuring that once my appointment time came, I would be fine. He also assured me I could go in feet first and I appreciated that. On my appointment day, it was Adam who would be doing the scans. He was again reassuring that everything would be fine and checked on me immediately following each scan. The fact I could turn my head side to side was also a big help. I'd looked online and wasn't sure even open MRI would be for me because in the other one, but turning my head made all the difference seeing it was open. He played music of my choice and it's obvious he genuinely tries to make the patient comfortable. I was given a disc of the images and sent on my way. I highly recommend this place to anyone at all who suffers from claustrophobia and needs an MRI. They really want you to be at ease and that makes a world of difference. My last scans were sitting upright 10yrs ago, but that's not available in Tucson. This is definitely a great other option!

They have a new system that everyone is learning, but people were still friendly and the offices were clean. This is a big improvement. Kudos to the people who are making a difference.
