I go in and leave with a cart full every time . something about looking at all sorts of different things gets me out of my head. then I come to the youth ranch, spend well over an hour there every time looking at items, checking them out and forgetting about reality at that moment. when I check out sometimes I decide I don't want a certain item so I'll ask the cashier if they can put it back. I sometimes offer to do it my self! Other places the staff don't mind and compose them selves with the customer service moral as they should, since they are working in customer service. but not the staff at the youth ranch. I don't know where management found these emplyoees but I have never felt so unwanted, judged , and plain disrespected as the staff at youth ranch. Expecially Jessica the red head who chomps her gum, rolls her eyes, and tells me she priced an item that I put at the counter a different price then it was priced! this woman has no business being the face of a company! I would be embarrassed if my staff was treating my customers this way! Shame on you Jessica! I will never go back! Gross!

What I like them for is they rescue cats. The thrift store helps fund the rescues and this is a great thing for me. Their cat cages are clean and their cats friendly. While I've not adopted a cat from their selection, it's obvious others have and I support re-homing of animals whenever possible. So I salute this business and hope others who want a new feline fur-kid will check them out.

This…read morestore is smaller for this type of operation so it is difficult to organize and maintain it on a daily basis with fluctuating product lines of donations. The employees are from all walks of life and strive to assist customers in a courteous manner on the retail floor. The donation receiving area is manned by those who can brave cold temperatures and physical labor this time of year. These strong souls at this location are our community neighbors and are appreciated by many of us in the community for what they do. In a synergistic manner, their efforts are needed by a community of buyers for products used for personal use, business livelihoods and charitable causes. We rely upon them for their products and services to reach out to others in need in ways never seen or mentioned. In turn, we the customers and business owners are happy to donate goods to the store and it's causes as well as keeping people there employed. Some of us are very grateful to the crew at Goodwill, the blessings branch outward in many directions untold, unseen. As someone told me this holiday season, "God loves you." This beautifully curated shop has the most unique finds from greeting cards to paper crowns--all among exquisite clothing pieces that you wouldn't be able to find at big box stores. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Not only does she curate her shop, but I feel like she takes the time to get to know the folks who come into her shop and make them feel like a part of a community. The staff has always been patient and willing to take out multiple pieces of jewelry from their cases even when I'm taking a long time to decide. I think a LOT when I shop, and I appreciate that I don't feel rushed to make a decision and leave. Shopping should be an experience: part art, part curiosity, and a dash of serendipity.
