Recent policy changes with new management has cleaned up and organized the departments better. This store is smaller for this type of operation so it is difficult to organize and maintain it on a daily basis with fluctuating product lines of donations. The employees are from all walks of life and strive to assist customers in a courteous manner on the retail floor. The donation receiving area is manned by those who can brave cold temperatures and physical labor this time of year. These strong souls at this location are our community neighbors and are appreciated by many of us in the community for what they do. In a synergistic manner, their efforts are needed by a community of buyers for products used for personal use, business livelihoods and charitable causes. We rely upon them for their products and services to reach out to others in need in ways never seen or mentioned. In turn, we the customers and business owners are happy to donate goods to the store and it's causes as well as keeping people there employed. Some of us are very grateful to the crew at Goodwill, the blessings branch outward in many directions untold, unseen. As someone told me this holiday season, "God loves you." I donated good expensive stuff, much of it was glass, the guys in the back just threw the box, I heard the frames and items breaking. another time I took a box directly to the dumpster, I donate to help others. these workers could care less. I will donate to deseret industry from now on. read more

The Idaho Falls Goodwill store is dark, dirty, and smelly. It stinks so badly that I couldn't stand to be in there for long. It just feels dirty and disorganized. I will never go back unless they clean the place up. They should try to emulate Desert Industry. That is a nice, clean, non-smelly thrift store. read more

Chaos. It's possible it's on black friday and the chaos was just purely on that one day since this was my first time at this store. they had a deal which was great since they don't do the color daily deals they have in some other Goodwill stores. Would i come back again...? Probably not but the staff was super nice so there was that. But cleanliness was just not there. read more

I enjoy coming here just to stroll, I even enjoy bringing my kids. It's clean and organized. Some of the things are super dated and others are brand new with tags. With most thrift stores, you find it busy on weekends but fairly light traffic thru the week. The associates are always friendly even in busier times. I'll always keep Goodwill in my "mommy time" routine of stores I go in just to walk or even if I'm looking for something specific. read more

This Goodwill has a really great selection of items. I was able to find some excellent brands that I didn't expect to find, as well. I do think they need extra work, though, because it was quite busy and there were only two clerks. The checkout line took a while. But the fitting rooms and bathrooms had no wait. read more

This goodwill is an absolute disgrace. Your website shows your open yet when attempting to donate some arrogant not well spoken man said that goodwill has all they need and they aren't accepting donations. When I said that goodwill sells and makes money off of donations he rudely said "goodwill has enough money." Absolutely will never donate anything here which is a shame when I have three daughters who purchase everything brand name and clean out their closets multiple times a year. This Good will Sucks! It has absolutely no dressing rooms. I went here looking for blouses for work, and couldn't try anything on in the store, so I had to buy the blouses, go out to my car, try them on and then bring them back to try to get a refund. They refused to give me a cash refund, which I had never heard of Goodwill doing that before. I had literally bought them 5 minutes before and they said that they refused to give me my money back. Thats a load of BULL! Customers should ALWAYS be able to get their money back through the way that they paid. I would have never had my money stolen from me by this business if they would have dressing rooms available in the first place. This is a total SCAM, as it forces the person to buy stuff from their store, rather than giving them an actual refund. I am NEVER going to Goodwill ever again! From now on, I will only go to mom and pop second hand stores that actually help people in the communitty and dont rip people off. read more

I have been in Goodwill stores all over the country and the store in Idaho Falls, ID is by far the most expensive I have ever been in.

I love that Goodwill hires people who are trying to make a new life for themselves and works with people who have disabilities. Their clothes have "blanket pricing" which means all of one category is one price. (All t-shirts are 1.99, ect.) Sometimes shelves and racks are so full its hard to dig through it, but overall it has a good thrift store feel. read more
