Sickening deodorizer in the store. One leaves with the hair smelling of this deodorizer for the rest of the day. Merchandise unusable as inundated with this smell. The poor employees that have to work with this smell all day. Hopefully it doesn't have the usual toxic ingredients found in deodorizers. read more

I am tired of men's Jeans being charged $10! The T-shirts are each $5! Why??? I see on Goodwill pages other Goodwill charge $5 for men's jeans. $2 shirts. And in states where minimum wage isn't 7.25.. we shouldn't be charged more than states that make $15an hour for donated stuff! Not to mention ALLLL donated Jewelry from OUR COMMUNITY get donated across state lines!! So not only do the donations not go to us they don't even go for OUR STATE!!!!!! It's bull shit toys are all 4.00 and up pretty much. You are robbing people. Sometimes you find good deals in fur inure. But damn yall are greedy. I went to this goodwill with my father today when we were visiting Idaho. I found this gorgeous pair of vintage red doc martens and was super excited to see that they were $7.99. They were a bit small do I was going to buy them to fix them up to give to my friend to sell at her thrift store. As we were checking out, the cashier scanned them and they came up as $7.99 on the register. He then paused and took the shoes away, saying something about how they shouldn't have been $7.99 and he left the register. I was a bit confused but didn't think that much of it until he came back and said there was a pricing mistake and that the actual price was $50. 50 f**king dollars for a pair of shoes at goodwill!!!!!! Needless to say I begrudgingly didn't buy the shoes. i thought I was shopping at a goodwill not some yuppy teenage girl's depop page. The dude took his job way too seriously - there was no need to do that. By law if something is advertised at a price, legally you have to sell it at that price. I would've argued with the bloke but he was evidently socially and mentally challenged and that job made him happy. But for Christ's sake, there is absolutely no need for you to sell something that you get for free, and is essentially someone else's trash, for $50. Never going back again and please seriously evaluate your prices and your priorities, goodwill. You are a multi-million dollar corporation whose charity work is so pathetic that it couldn't even excuse making someone pay $50 for shoes. read more

today I went with a friend thrift shopping for fun and we were trying on clothes in the dressing room. Someone complained that we were taking to long, but we had a lot of stuff to try on and there were two empty fitting rooms/ A man with a vest pounded on the door and asked if I had a parent with me. I'm 18 years old and I said no. He then said it is illegal for me to try on clothes without a parent because I am a minor without even asking about my age. He said it was illegal and " against store policy. " He said I have 2 minutes yelling at me outside of the dressing room to " get me clothes on and get out of his store or he is calling the police. " he did this without a warning, and did not tell me to maybe speed it up because someone complained, he instead pounded on my fitting room door. As a young teenage girl I find it scary and disturbing a old man is pounding on my fitting room door while I am undressed. I proceeded to ask what I did wrong, because I was in shock. He then said and yelled " give me a tone again little girl and I'll have the police escort you out. " While I am undressed and crying unsure of what I did wrong or what is going on, he began counting down from 2:00. He said 1:59...1:58... I am not exaggerating this. I asked one more time to please tell me what I did wrong and he said " customers were complaining about you ". Pointed his finger in my face and said get out of my store now, so I left. I am unsure of his name because I was scared and unsure what to do, he was wearing an orange vest and almost looked like a maintenance man. I'm angry that this man thought he could talk to me in such a manner when I did nothing wrong. Last time I checked you didn't need your mother to watch you try on clothes. He disrespected me, my mother on the phone, and my friend with me. I could have him sued for trying to get into my dressing room. I love goodwill and donating to goodwill and I'm very upset about the way I was treated. read more
