The employees are from all walks of life and strive to assist customers in a courteous manner on the retail floor. The donation receiving area is manned by those who can brave cold temperatures and physical labor this time of year. These strong souls at this location are our community neighbors and are appreciated by many of us in the community for what they do. In a synergistic manner, their efforts are needed by a community of buyers for products used for personal use, business livelihoods and charitable causes. We rely upon them for their products and services to reach out to others in need in ways never seen or mentioned. In turn, we the customers and business owners are happy to donate goods to the store and it's causes as well as keeping people there employed. Some of us are very grateful to the crew at Goodwill, the blessings branch outward in many directions untold, unseen. As someone told me this holiday season, "God loves you." I've attached the screenshots, which include: -An instagram highlight -a mention in the second paragraph of the caption of an instagram reel -an image of the terms of service, which is displayed as an expandable link that you do not have to read before agreeing to -The FAQ's on their website If these are the only mentions of this that they can provide, two of which are on social media that is not involved in the booking process, they are being willfully deceiving. Additionally, not only is there no option of cancellation (which also not mentioned anywhere until I reached out to them), but if I choose not to set up a booth due to time constraints I am charged an extra $20. Overall I am extremely frustrated with this. If they were acting in good faith there is no reason for me not to be able to cancel two weeks in advance on the first business day after my booking after realizing I would not have time with my schoolwork and that the split would not make it worth it. I will no longer be supporting this business and I would encourage any other college students to avoid it and just donate your clothes to the Family Crisis Center down the road.
