Bad customer service. My daughter bought a little dress, when she tried it on at store didn't notice one strap was attached with a safety pin. SOMETHING THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN CAUGHT BY STAFF, EITHER WHEN THEY PURCHASED IT, TAGGED IT, OR SOLD IT!! It was $14.99 we brought it back in along with a pair of pants that they didn't take the sensor off. When I asked if we could get a discount (tags still on both items) for the dress (That was over priced). They said they could even give us store credit. Very BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Being new to this area, I wanted to find some quality used clothing/thrift stores. This would be one of the better ones. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable, you just have to sort through lots of kind of worn down/plain clothes to find something nice. Two stars off for the selling side. Buyers seem a little green here as they don't seem to know what they're looking at. From what i can tell, theyre only looking for clothes that give the "idaho teen" look. If your clothes fit in that category, then they'll just about take whatever you throw at them, even if it's worn down. I'd have an easier time selling my clothes at a snooty/picky upscale consignment store on the coast. Playing it safe and sticking only to what you know isn't always the best policy. So that's a bummer for me and a bummer for the store. read more

My mom and I went to the Idaho Falls location to sell some items for store credit. After looking around the store for a while, we changed our minds about doing business with them. Upon asking for our items back, the employees said it was 'impossible', but my mother insisted it was. After talking to an employee, the in-store manager, and the remote manager -- who was VERY confrontational -- we finally got our items back. The remote manager also told us, "don't come back" -- request granted. We recommend Fashion Runway Exchange for retail consignment. read more

Wish I could give a 0 star rating! The WORST experience I've ever had selling clothes. First off, workers are horrible!!!! Extremely rude stuck up snobs! They make you stay in the store while going through clothes EVEN THOUGH I have sold to them before and were so rude about it. While I complied I browsed the store and 90% of it was HIDEOUS And OUTDATED! I gave them 4 trash bags filled with strictly Urban Outfitters, Pac Sun, Forever 21, Victoria Secret, ect. mostly BRAND NEW WITH TAGS and they maybe took half of a trash bag. Strictly because we got off on a bad note because the sales associates were the rudest people I've ever came across. I know Plato's Closet has a lot of controversy but personally I would recommend them or ANYBODY else before I ever stepped foot back into this establishment. read more

Way to over priced for used clothes. They want $14 for a pair of ripped jeans that look in awful condition the customer service was not good all the cloths are outdated ugly or over priced. If you want cheep better clothes I suggest fashion runway. The dressing rooms in uptown Cheapskate are nasty and the hooks are broken or missing plus they are really small. read more
