So, for example, I have been trying to decide between all of the Chanel Chance perfumes for some time, and everywhere I've gone, I've asked if they had samples so I could test them out. Every Single Place has simply said NO! However, at Dillard's, not only did Sami take the time to talk to me about all of their perfumes, but she also said "no, we don't have samples BUT I WILL MAKE YOU SOME." So now, I have my handy dandy little samples and the ability to compare the different scents without having to drive to the mall every time I want to try them! Second example! I've been wanting to get started on the Clarisonic and switch face wash for quite some time, as Clinique has been causing a reaction to my face. Not only did I receive the best service I think I've ever received in my life, but Amy also asked if she could check in with me in a few days to make sure my new face wash and Clarisonic was working for me and not causing a rash or break out. It was all I could do to not fall asleep listening to the store special...it honestly sounds like she is bored to death! Now....this is the second time I have spent over an hour trying to find men's shoes that I like and that fit well. That isn't a big deal....BUT, talk about a LACK of size 13's on the shelf! And, the frustrating thing was that even after finding a pair of shoes that I liked, they were $85.00 while everything else seemed to run $75 and less. The biggest frustration was when I tried to make the best out of the situation and take advantage of the buy one, get one half off....BUT, ONLY if I bought socks too OR a pair of slippers.....So, I grabbed some socks thinking, what the heck, I can always use socks, right? So, then I went back and found a pair of shoes my daughter has been wanting for some time...they were $65 or so.....Filas was the brand...Then I took them up, with my $85 pair of shoes AND the pair of socks they said I meeded to buy in order to get the 2nd pair of shoes half off..... AFTER all that, I was told at the cash register that the Filas I got for my daughter were actually full price and not part of the special....WHAT? Are you kidding me? So....that was the final straw! I gave everything back and Shoe Carnival sold NOTHING to me. This was ridiculous! People were buying shoes that cost MUCH less than the ones I picked out and were getting the 1/2 off on another pair...both pairs of their shoes added up to less than the one single pair ($85) that I had.....Again, all I can say is, How Ridiculous! I guess Shoe Carnival doesn't need my business and that is okay. There are several other places in Ammon amd Idaho Falls that will take care of me. Sorry Shoe Carnival...I will NOT be back!

I did my browsing (nothing that caught my eye) and she continued. It looks the same as any other TJ's with reasonably stacked racks of clothing, decently organized by size. Not much for me in the "big and tall" but mom managed to find a cardigan that she particularly liked. Clean, tidy and four stars. I'm a fan.
