After doing a thorough search on Yelp and Google, we reached out to 5 different companies. Not only did Kyler reach out to us within 20 minutes on a weekend, he also provided photos of his previous work and the craftsmanship definitely shows. (Another company actually just gave us canned AI responses, which allowed us to appreciate a small local business like KC Duran even more) We were back up with a sturdy beautiful backyard gate by Monday morning! The price was extremely competitive and we're no longer anxious about our dogs escaping from the backyard. Thanks again for providing such efficient quality work!

The fence sits on top of this wall. The old posts were wobbly and the knee wall needed to have cement added two it to give the new posts a solid base. Michael took care of that, installed the new posts and welded the new panels in place. He then primed and painted everything. The new fence is rock solid and looks much better than the old one. The price was very fair and the job was completed on time. Michael & Anthony cleaned-up after each day of construction. They were very professional. I highly recommend First Iron Repair for your fence and gate repairs and replacement.

Affordable Gate Company came, took measurements without me needing to be present, exa couple text messages to recommend a good gate option, and then a few days later while I was at work they removed the old gate and hinges, and installed a perfectly balanced, high quality new gate on my home. One of the simplest, best interactions I've had with a vendor during my remodel, and I've been extremely pleased with the result even two years later... my neighbors liked the gate so much they copied it too :) Icing on the cake was that the latch on the gate was starting to be finicky to open as the summer heat hit this year, and these folks came out and did a free adjustment. Couldn't ask for better service!

I hired Mike Johnson of Stronghold Gate Co. for several gate projects, and there is no question…read morethat he makes beautiful gates. Unfortunately, the quality of the gates was not matched by the quality of the customer service, communication, or follow-through. The biggest issue was that Mike repeatedly stopped responding for weeks--and in some cases months--at a time. Installations were left incomplete and I eventually had to hire someone else to finish work that I had already paid Mike to complete because I was told he was simply too busy. There were some changes to the projects along the way, as is normal with renovation and construction projects. One issue involved the gate support, which had been improperly constructed by another contractor. Mike came out to address the installation, only to determine that the existing support was not sufficient. I completely understood that he could not complete the installation under those circumstances. What I did not understand was why, after that visit, he never returned or followed up to help resolve the issue. I was left chasing him for updates, waiting weeks and months for responses and ultimately having to find someone else to complete portions of the work. Being busy is understandable. Taking payment for a project and then becoming unavailable when the customer needs the work completed is not. At one point, I requested a refund for the installation that was never completed. Despite that request, I never received the refund, much less a reply. I would have been happy to recommend Mike based on the quality and appearance of his gates. Unfortunately, beautiful workmanship on the product does not make up for poor communication, unfinished installations and a lack of follow-through. My experience was that getting the gate made was the easy part. Getting the project finished was an entirely different story.

We had an excellent experience with Julio and the entire team at Clean Corners Construction. From…read morethe very beginning, their level of personal service stood out. They were the first contractor to respond to our request for a quote and the only one who took the time to walk us through it in person. Julio and Yvan helped us think through the remodel, offering practical ideas and guidance on how to get the biggest quality of life improvements within our budget. We always felt like we had experienced people helping us make smart decisions rather than simply executing a list of requests. Once construction began, Julio's team did a fantastic job bringing everything together. The quality of the work and attention to detail were excellent, and the finished project turned out exactly as we had hoped. On the few occasions when something needed to be adjusted, they were extremely responsive and made sure it was completed to our satisfaction. The crew was also consistently punctual, professional, and respectful of our home (including being very accommodating of our requests regarding our pets). Another thing we really appreciated was the flexibility Clean Corners gives you when selecting materials. They provide a list of preferred suppliers, but you are free to source materials wherever you like. That allowed us to splurge on the finishes that mattered most to us while finding savings in other areas. For someone who has a clear vision of what they want but needs a team to help make it happen, that flexibility is a huge advantage. If you're looking for a contractor who is responsive, collaborative, detail-oriented, and genuinely invested in bringing your vision to life, I highly recommend Clean Corners Construction. We couldn't be happier with how our remodel turned out.

They were quick with their estimate, offered a great price, and were the only ones who came in person to walk through the quote with us. They gave great supplier recommendations, helped pick up and deliver materials, and finished our first bathroom before starting the second so we were never left without a shower. With such a large remodel project, some issues were bound to come up. We had a few hiccups with the initial crew who completed the first bathroom, but Julio never made excuses. He took full ownership and made changes as needed--including bringing in a different crew--to ensure every touch-up was completed to our satisfaction and complete the second bathroom, which went much smoother! I highly recommend Julio and Yvan. They are responsive, accommodating with schedules, and genuinely care about delivering a great final result. I am very happy with my remodel and highly recommend CCC.
