DO NOT USE!!! I bought granite at home depot (Nevada) even though I knew it was pricy, but I trusted home depot would use a responsible company to do the work. They use a company called Desert Eagle Stone (Desert Eagle Industries) who service Home Depot and Lowes in Nevada and Colorado. They are inconsistent, unreliable, and were difficult to work with about keeping us informed about delays, preparations, and schedules. They did not delay the up sale part of it. They were right on schedule. It seemed that home depot took the money and then kept trying to pass us off to desert eagle stone to make arrangements. Why? We are home depot customers. I could have saved a lot of money by using a desert eagle stone or any other flooring and tile company direct! About two months later two (2) men come to do the work. Not a word of English! A gentleman starts talking on his phone in Spanish that translates in English to let us know he is here to do the granite install. HUH? Is this for real? At first I said sure. They seem like decent men and after all, home depot uses desert stone for flooring, granite, etc. installs. Then I thought who did I just let in our home? No uniforms, no communication, no nothing that represents some kind of company. I tried to ask if they wanted me to remove the faucet from the sink. No, its ok one responded. I have the template for it. Sure enough, I hear the sink banging on the tile floor and I see it upside down resting on the faucet. Yep, it was broken. Then they start manhandling the blinds and the sliding door without asking to do so. There is a method to open it. I had enough and told him to stop. We called desert eagle stone and immediately they took there side and said "they were the best workers they have". They responded with "that is how construction is". What, to break everything? They were going to talk with them. I said on the phone? She said "yes, this is how I communicate with them". I asked why you would send someone to a customer's home that cannot communicate in English. They said "we do it all the time". We are not desert eagle stones customer so why would it matter to them. The men who came to our home had no business representing home depot. Or at least send someone who speaks English. They could have been undocumented criminals for all we know. No communication except by phone translation. This should not be the norm. We should not have let them in our home. You don't know who is coming into your home. I would not recommend using Home Depot or Desert Eagle Stone for any home improvements of any kind. Very unprofessional and you will get the run around by both parties passing you off to each other to entangle you. read more

Walked and wanted a black piece of grand about 25 by 61 inches and a 6" by 61 back splash...pretty easy just a scrap piece probably No big deal ....first thing she show me is a WHITE granite??...I did say black and had a picture...then we go out into this warehouse And she shows me another white color...wow are you kidding me...so I leave my number so she calls and says I found want you want.. Ok she sends a bid ...wait for it...................$1000 almost....wow.. went elsewhere..and they said no problem and whip it out done $500.. Can't say enough good about them. Used them for a property we were rehabing. Did a great job on the stonework and even gave us a little cutting board from the scrap. Biggest thing they did was caught the granite supplier switching our slab. Which they denied until I showed them the tags didn't match. Always photo the tags and supply to your fabricator. They were able to supply the granite/quartz sink we wanted. Install went great, looks great. Fair price and very pleased with their work. 1000% improvement over the old plastic countertops. My mother and I have had problems with this company. We arranged with Home Depot, whom have been wonderful and very helpful. Unfortunately I can't say the same for Desert Eagle. They have been very inconsistent, unreliable, and difficult to work around. Especially the receptionists and the people who are supposed to arrange the schedule. There have been MULTIPLE instances where Desert Eagle has not informed us for preparations, schedules, and regulations the workers are contracted under. In addition, they were supposed to finish working on our kitchen counter the next day because they ran out of the tiles. No one showed up on that supposed day. My mom had to call the company and leave a voice message informing them of their mistake. Thankfully, Home Depot was very understanding of how difficult Desert Eagle has been. Unfortunately, we will have to stop asking Home Depot for remodeling if it means having to work with Desert Eagle. I will only give them 1 star for at least getting the job done, but they need to be more punctual, more ethical, and work around schedules where their customers are available. read more

Domingo and Anthony are budget and time conscious, as well as creative Artists. Peter and Alan are diligent, hard working and very experienced. Alan was always on time and worked all day efficiently. I really wish I had done due diligence and had read the reviews here. Such an awful experience both with home depot and especially desert eagle stone. The installers showed up 4 hours late, which is ok, but no one called to let us know about the delay. But that is a small thing. Because we were having a bar top with an overhang of over 8 inches we were told to install brackets to support the weight of the bar. Fine. We were told that these brackets MUST be placed before the countertops would be installed, and that the desert stone installers would NOT place the brackets. We hired an experienced handyman to install brackets placed flush against the existing countertop. When the installers showed up, I specifically asked them to check out the placement, size etc. of the brackets to make sure the job would be done correctly. The installers looked at the brackets and said they were fine. Except when they got to the part of placing the new countertop on the brackets, they said the brackets were too low and would not add the bar top. I had our handyman come back while the installers were still there, and asked the installers to wait 10 minutes til the brackets were repositioned, but they refused saying they had another job to do. This is after them showing up 4 hours late to my appt. Additionally it will cost us another $2oo. for the installers to come back and complete the work. The people I tried to reason with at desert stone were not only rude, but indicated I was stupid. Just a frustrating deal all around. My kitchen countertop is still not complete after 2 weeks. If I could give zero stars, I most definitely would. We're remodeling our home and went through The Home Depot to purchase our stone for our countertops. They use Desert Eagle Stone as their contractor. So far, we've had such a horrible experience with communication and customer service with Desert Eagle Stone. First, no one called us to schedule an appointment for the estimator to come and measure our countertops. About 3 weeks later, I had an appointment for the estimator to come to our home. My husband and I took the afternoon off from work. It was past our appointment and nobody came or called to inform us that the estimator was running behind schedule. So the next soonest available is a week later. SO MANY DELAYS! So ridiculous that it'll be a month just to have someone come and measure our countertops. I can only imagine how much longer we'll have to wait for it to be installed. I called to complain and someone hung up on me. I called again and spoke with Angie. She's very rude and unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend using Desert Eagle Stone for your home remodeling projects. read more

I agree with previous review by Jered. These guys are so dysfunctional. First they took 2 months to get the counter top installed. I felt like they kept putting me at the bottom of the list. Then when they finally installed it they damaged my new drywall and paint, not just scratches but chunks in all rooms they installed in. I ordered square corners BUT did rounded corners, which no one ever does anymore. Rounded is 80s-90s. Since I ordered thru LOWES I had to use their installer which is DESERT EAGLE. NEVER use lowes either. Since Lowes makes you pay upfront I could not withhold payment. Incompetent workers and management. read more

I would not recommend this company to anyone. They supplied a piece of white quartz for my kitchen island and it ruined the entire look of the design. Piecing material together is a standard practice that is so standard the process produces a seamless look. It's just too bad that this company is not skilled enough to make that happen. I was even told by their installer that the process of mixing the white quartz color with the glue was just done poorly. The mixture turned out to be gray rather than white to blend in with the rest of the surface. The company now refuses do do anything to remedy the issue. I am extremely disappointed in this company for conducting business in such a manner. read more

Delay, delay, promises, promises are all you will get from these guys. Company has no-showed on me three days in a row. First day they did'my bother calling and only emailed me the day after (Saturday), saying they would have to look at their schedule. Then told me I was on for that Monday. They then called 10 minutes before their arrival window was expired saying they did not have all of the pieces finished for the install. Rescheduled for the next day. Third day, no show, no call. I called them and they advised the installer had problems with his truck. Can't speak to the quality of the work because they just keep delaying the job but it is clear they have no respect for their customer's time or money. read more

Although there were a few misunderstandings on Home Depot's part, Desert Eagle Stone did everything they could do to get my granite installed in a timely manner. For that, I will be forever grateful and I highly recommend them for all your granite and stone needs. Just remember, this process takes time, so plan on ordering at least 4 to 6 weeks before you need your installation. That knowledge in itself is extremely important and something I did not know. They left my house a disaster!!!! As soon as they walked in the kitchen they started swinging hammers to demo the old tile countertop. They didn't even use one piece of plastic!! They didn't cover or protect anything! They threw the rubble on my floor (chipped the Pergo in several places)! After they were done they just left. They didn't clean anything up!!! After I called to complain the same guy came out and asked "What's the problem?" Unbelievable! They lady I spoke with when I scheduled the appointment said they would lay plastic down and protect the house from the demo. She even said they would clean up afterwards with a ShopVac. Nope! They couldn't even sweep! The dust even covered the furniture in the living room. By the way, my black appliances are less than a month old! Look how they are after their work! read more

Our kitchen counter install was subcontracted to Desert Eagle Stone by Lowe's in June, 2017. The quality of the quartz is exceptional. The workmanship, however, was not. After just over 2 years one large slab of our island dropped about 1/8 inch. The whole seam cracked. I contacted Michelle and after her reviewing the pictures with those in charge, she indicated that since it was out of warranty, it would be a $200 charge. I paid and within a few days, they were out to repair. Their installer was very thorough and efficient. He did a beautiful job, but he indicated it was not installed correctly, which led to the issues we had. To me, if your employee states that the issue was caused by not putting a sufficient quantity of glue to hold the two slabs together, you should not be charging your customer to repair the error. read more

Today we had an installer come to our house with the piece of granite we picked out and had measured for our house to be installed. He was very rude, VERY RUDE. He said he could NOT install this granite because one of our cabinets is not level, and one isn't mounted and had a list of reasons why he could not install our granite. He called his boss and told her that he could not and WOULD not install the granite. My father has a construction license and has been doing this type of work for over 30 years. They would not leave the piece of granite so he could install it (It was against company policy) They would NOT Offer a refund either. My husband wants to speak to the owner of this establishment NOT The managers. Either one of two things is going to happen. We get this piece of granite installed OR I will get a refund and they will be stuck with a piece of granite that is measured and cut for our kitchen. NOW I AM STUCK WITH NO KITCHEN COUNTERS, ALL OF MY APPLIANCES ARE PULLED OUT AND UNINSTALLED. I HAVE CHILDREN THAT SAW THIS INCIDENT. I DON'T EVEN HAVE A KITCHEN SINK BECAUSE OF THIS. I AM SO UPSET. This place is a joke. They came to fix a few things with the counter tops they installed. When they tried to fix the scratch on the counter top the guys used a dirty pad which made it dull. After trying to buff it out with ACETONE several times he just gave up. Then when we tried to have someone else come out to fix it. After several attempts to have someone come out they never got back to us. After about 6 months someone finally cane out then we never heard on the follow up. Stay away from this place. Especially if they mess up something. You will not get it fixed most likely. read more

These guys butchered our kitchen install. None of the seams lined up, some corners were squared some round, the stone wasn't event secured down to our counters and we could lift it off, they completely ruined our wood island to a point that it had to be replaced, on and on. Then on top of all of that, they tried to make us re-pay for an entire re-install to fix what they ruined. It took 3 months before we finally received a new install. Home Depot should do everything they can to get out of whatever contract they have with this company. Avoid at all costs. read more

Don't waste your time. Our neighbors used Desert Eagle for their kitchen and they were happy with them. We went to their shop and setup an appointment for a quote with Joe giving him all our details. Unfortunately I had to reschedule and when I called they had no information of our appointment at all. Melinda said she would get someone to call back to reschedule, no response. I called back again and got referred to another person out of state by the name of Kay - apparently the only person that can do the scheduling and no call back either. I then called back wanting to give them one more chance and asked for Domingo (the owner that our neighbors used) to call me and still no response we have since moved on and will be getting out quotes from other people. read more

If I could I would give them no stars. My kitchen under mounted sink was not properly installed. My husband seems to think that it was not tightened seeing that the brackets were extremely loose. It separated from the granite a year and a half after installation. I called to ask if they could come out and fix it, since it has ONLY been A little over ONE year and they wanted to charge me $175! They refused to negotiate. Not to mention the seal broke around the sink and was leaking over time underneath my sink. Thank god there is no mold. read more

First if all rating them a 1 is too high. Terrible experience. Gave us back the wrong sink, did not give us a cutting board out of the left over material as asked. We had to fight to get them to come back to properly fix seams that they totally overlooked. Very poor communication and lack of follow through. I took a day off for the installation, they never even bothered called to tell us there were problems that day, I was sitting around like an idiot waiting for them to show up. I had to call and they acted like it was no big deal to come another day. People Work!!. I would never recommend this company to anyone and shame on Lowes for using them. Just terrible. read more

He suggested little tweaks in the design that made the finished product very impressive. The installers were personable and u didn't feel like you needed to hide the valuables. The installation date was rescheduled three times and Evette in their office was terrible to deal with. WORST COSTUMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!!!!!! We ordered countertops through Home Depot and our installer. The process was fairly smooth, until install. Upon install they decided to cut pieces of our island dry wall for supposed brackets. Turns out they never used the brackets and didn't patch the drywall holes. Once we realized this my husband called and the rep promised to repair the damaged made to the wall. ( to be VERY CLEAR, this is not just a bit of drywall who got ripped upon taking off the old countertops, they CUT into the drywall). 3 weeks later, many phone calls being told everyone was too busy, and 2 emails later, I am told that the rep ( who was the nicest, most costumer friendly person AND the only person who was remotely helpful throughout the whole process) was no longer working there and that they would not fix our issue anymore. This is total disrespect of the client's property. They DAMAGED our kitchen and now we have holes to repair after spending thousands on material and install. DO NOT WORK WITH THESE PEOPLE THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CLIENT OR THE QUALITY OF THE END RESULT. We plan on reporting this to Home Depot as well. read more

I will start by saying the product was excellent. I had countertop granite, kitchen backsplash and fireplace backsplash installed by this company, and the end result looks very nice. I want to say that Abraham, the gentleman who did all backsplash, was outstanding. He had an excellent work ethic and his work showed it. He was meticulous. There are some chips in surrounding wall that need to be fixed but I'll handle that separately. I suspect it is due to the removal of old granite. The customer service was poor. I called on the recommendation of a friend who is a contractor, and initially all was good. Domingo called back right away, came out to give me an estimate, was right on time, and very professional. An install date of 5/3 was scheduled, and all was well. I paid my deposit and was ready to go. Because this was a kitchen, I had to hire a plumber to remove the sink and reinstall after the counter top was done (See review on Difnity Plumbing, they were great). Plumber remove sink on 5/2. I could see by my Ring cams that Desert Eagle guys were in my home all day 5/3. They knew that the plumber was coming back 5/4 to reinstall sink. The first I hear of a problem is on the morning of 5/4 when the plumber tells me he is at my home (I'm out of town on biz) but can't put the sink back because the granite isn't finished. I called Desert Eagle...Domingo had to investigate. Bottom line is there was some sort of ill-defined error, but since no one told me, I didn't cancel the plumber. In any event, from that point forward it was as if it was a different company. No one ever called me again to reschedule measurements, reinstallation, or backsplash install. I would wait a reasonable time (1-3 business days) and then start calling to try and find out what was the plan. It was really ridiculous. The countertop install, which was supposed to be completed on 5/3, was completed on 5/17.THEN....not a single call about backsplash. I really had to chase them down. Finally, on June 1st the backsplash was done.that installers were coming on certain dates. At that point I just wanted it done, so I rearranged my world accordingly. The work was done nicely, although there is minor repair work that needs to be done. I just didn't want to prolong things. I needed this done and paid. As I say, the work itself looks great, which is why the three stars. But the total lack of communication and seriously prolonged timeframe was just unacceptable. I am a time freak -- I admit. I pay on time, and I expect the work to be done on time. If time isn't a priority, you'd probably be very happy with the work. Sally read more

I was referred to this business by an employee at Lowe's (Lowe's wouldn't take my job - too small at 10.2 sf) who said they personally knew the business. I called at the beginning of March and the person who answered the phone said they could help with a job that size. She took my number and told me the owner would call back. A week later, after no call, I called again and was told the job size was no problem and she would get my number Katherine/Michelle??? somebody and they would call back. Three weeks later and no call back. If you don't want the business, be upfront and say so!! Don't bother wasting your time here. read more

I absolutely recommend due to their great customer service. I purchased a marble counter top about a year ago through Home Depot, went to the shop and picked out my slab. Everything went great. However, almost a year later and the marble had a few dings and stains from use, and since it was still under warranty they sent out someone to restore it to new. Not only that, but I had forgotten to pick up some cutting boards from a year ago. Since it had been so long, they made me brand new ones with a different size than I had originally wanted, all to make my experience perfect. They easily could have just said no, but time and time again they are there to help me out. Fantastic crew and great people. Would use them again in a heartbeat. read more
