I also made it clear that I wanted BULLNOSE not SQUARE edges to match my kitchen slabs. To my surprise, they showed up with square edges than wanted a lot more money to order the correct one that I originally ordered! They knew they had me over a barrel! They instructed me to pay their worker "Jose" for the installation of the cabinet doors and sink. Jose also told me he would be making cabinet boxes for the two drawers and installing the knobs and pulls for my cabinets. I Waited months for this and it never happened! Jose took one of my drawer faces to use to make the vanity boxes. He dropped it off two months later without telling me on my front doorstep scratched! I called and spoke to Loxie the wife of the owner Rich and explained my concerns. She assured me that "they would make it right and Rich would be out to install the pulls and knobs and to refinish the scratched vanity drawer face. Rich finally showed up after 7 weeks and installed the pulls and knobs and took measurements for my drawer boxes and kitchen drawer cabinet face. I received numerous promises from Loxie on when Rich would be returning to install the promised boxes and drawer faces. I travel 16 days a month or more and made numerous appointments with these incessant prevaricators to get this done and every time they blew me off after making appointments! Beware of these clowns as they don't do what they promise and they are completely unprofessional in dealing with them!

I'm grateful fir that but will never chose a white on white again.

Shopped…read moremany surface suppliers and found that Surkado in Henderson had prices for pre-fab slabs that were $70. each less expensive than elsewhere. Also, where many had their slabs stored outside, this shop has their products stored in a clean indoor warehouse. They have many different stones, quartz and granites to choose from in pre-fab slab and island pieces. They also offer cabinetry. You can have your own contractor pick up the materials, or Surkado can do the installing for you. They have two licensed installers. Of the two "Fabrecio" does everything to include electrical and plumbing (not all surface installers offer those services.) Fabrecio came with one helper and had the kitchen redone in three days. They were always careful to continually clean up any messes that were made during the renovation. You can see from the before and after pictures that Fabrecio created a stellar new kitchen environment that also happens to be handicap friendly (so far not seeing a way to post pictures on this site.). The owner of Surkado, Sophia Quatrale, and salesman Josh Bacher, are both incredibly accommodating. I had phone contact with them, as well as Fabrecio, throughout the process. Surkado opened in their current location only recently.... I believe it was June. So there may not be many online reviews yet. I give them a full five stars for quality product and installation. Their renovation with installation was $6800.00. I did not buy the new sink and faucet through them but they did install both plus all electrical for this cost. However, this was much more material than a normal kitchen. Not only is there a full backsplash that extends to the upper cabinets but both lower cabinets have what is called a "waterfall" (which means the granite also covers the lower cabinet end caps.) Plus, when the high bar was shaved down a much bigger Island piece was installed for more eating area. These options added more material and labor costs. The job could have been done for as little as $3200. if these options hadn't been chosen. And if you choose quartz I'm sure the price would decrease even more. From the moment I met Asaf, I liked him. He knew what he was talking about, offered suggestions, and worked with until we had a clear vision. This wasn't the cheapest bid we got, but it was reasonable. It was their salesman that sold this project. When the work began, the crew was on time and worked efficiently. The first day, the cut the wall down to bar height and cleaned up afterwards. The next day, the granite was installed. We had a small issue, but when Asaf was called, he fixed the issue immediately. He came out to check on the progress and communicated with my husband and I the whole time. The next couple of days, the backsplash people came in and did their thing. They were super slow and there was some miscommunication as to what time/day they were coming....but the end product was great. I have already recommended this company to several other people who are also happy with their work. This is a family owned business with employees who care about their craft. That's what you need in a home remodeling project. We have a bathroom remodel coming up and will be contacting them again.
