I had been dreaming of kitchen remodel for years. I recently had my cabinets painted...and all I needed was some granite, a bar top, and some backsplash. I called 3 companies. From the moment I met Asaf, I liked him. He knew what he was talking about, offered suggestions, and worked with until we had a clear vision. This wasn't the cheapest bid we got, but it was reasonable. It was their salesman that sold this project. When the work began, the crew was on time and worked efficiently. The first day, the cut the wall down to bar height and cleaned up afterwards. The next day, the granite was installed. We had a small issue, but when Asaf was called, he fixed the issue immediately. He came out to check on the progress and communicated with my husband and I the whole time. The next couple of days, the backsplash people came in and did their thing. They were super slow and there was some miscommunication as to what time/day they were coming....but the end product was great. I have already recommended this company to several other people who are also happy with their work. This is a family owned business with employees who care about their craft. I was a little nervous having any company come out and give me an estimate and paying them to do this but am I happy that I had this company . I did get a few estimates and they were the best price.They were so professional so talented the first person that came out was Wally he came back three times to measure the countertops to make sure they were exactly. he was the one that recommended the square edging which is absolutely beautiful. I also put it off for two weeks because I was going out of town and they were fine with that I just love my new kitchen I would recommend this company and Wally to everybody I know. read more

Do you know the feeling when you're over something... like guests who've overstayed their welcome? They've inconvenienced you and your family by taking up your time and making a mess, but you don't care about them cleaning up their mess anymore, all you want is for them to leave and never come back? That's how I felt with Granite MD. I was told over and over that renovating our bathroom would take 10 days. I thought to myself that if they went over, that's fine... companies just want your business so they'll say whatever to get you to sign a contract. Project took 16 days... it should be 17, but I don't want to call them to fix the same problem they were supposed to remedy when they came back on day 16. I had so many strangers coming in and out of my house and none of them seemed to communicate with one another. They took short cuts, made such careless mistakes that you wonder what was going through their heads, they didn't show up when they said they would and there was no quality control whatsoever. You are the master of your destiny when it comes to them. If you don't say anything, it most likely will not be corrected. Some days it was a complete shit show where a worker would show up but no one had delivered the materials needed so little to no work was done that day. They didn't order enough tile so that set us back on the timeline. What bothers me the most is that when the job was "completed" no one, the owner or foreman, came to look at the final project to ensure that everything was in order. They were, however, calling me to ask about my final payment. I think I'm being pretty generous by giving them two stars. I guess I figure: 1). They completed the job and 2). It looks nice from afar. I have to force myself to overlook unevenly laid tiles and the black marks they made as their tile cut marks on my white shower tile. I've tried taking off the marks with a mr. clean magic eraser, nail polish remover and alcohol but those black marks won't budge. read more

Never doing business with these hack jobs again. Horrible install. Separations everywhere and cuts are not clean and just filled with extra material and silicone. Owners are stuck up and uncaring and rude. Came to inspect our complaint and ate an apple and answered his phone while my husband was talking and left without saying anything. read more

They never arrive in time and have had to call them to ask when to expect the work done. I don't understand why I am the one coaxing them to finish the job when it behooves them to get the job done right away in order to get payed. I am a businesswoman and I don't have time to deal with flakey companies. Needless to say, this is the last time they are working on my homes. If you want unprofessional workers that may or may not finish the job in quoted timeframe hire them. Or spend a little more for reliable help. read more

They did what they promised and they did it before the due date and it looked better than I expected for a price well below their competitors. I needed countertops and a sink put in for a rental. Really nice guy showed up and measured my countertops. The install team was prepared to install and didn't waste time "making it fit" or sawing anything in my garage. True professionals. the lady that took my order at the office totally understand what I needed and got me the right product. Very pleased with both the workmanship and their plumber. Got me out of a bad situation another company couldn't complete. read more

We hired this company based on the many positive reviews and after meeting with them and reviewing our kitchen project we thought we had found a responsible and good contractor. We were wrong. They have left two unfinished items - cracking mortar on the backsplash and damage to our wood cabinets that they have not repaired. We have called for almost two months with no return phone calls or response to emails or texts. These are simple repairs and we have already paid our bill. Honorable, trustworthy are not words we would associate with this business!! read more

I went to the store on Highland Avenue. The gal at the desk took my name, phone number, address of the property, etc. and told me that Ben would be there Tuesday between 11 and 12. Waited the entire hour for him. Not only did he not show up but he never called. Have they heard of customer service? DO NOT USE THESE FOLKS!! THEY DON'T GET IT!!! read more

I called to ask about an issue we have with a plastic lined shower. The woma's english was poor so she was hard to understand. She told me "we don't do..." and hung up. She didn't even want to see if we were willing to do a bathroom re-model. I will take my business somewhere else. read more

These guys really know their stuff. We recently had a kitchen remodel and from start to finish they were professional, knowledgable and very affordable. They worked with run out budget and made it kitchen look like we smart major money. I would highly recommend this company! Don't even know what the negative review is about. We had them do our granite in the kitchen. They do not stand behind their product. They advertise one year warranty however, in the state of Nevada every contractor must give you a one year warranty so they are not doing customers any favors. Our granite cracked near the sink and they would not do anything to fix it. We had to call the Better Business Bureau and get them involved in order to make Granite M.D. come out. They then put some sealant in the cracks, but it cracked again quickly. Upon investigation, we found that they used a substandard underlayment (possibly the one that came with the house) and cheap sealant. Water seeped in and warped the underlayment. The underlayment had no waterproofing. The granite is still cracked and peeling. When we called them about this problem originally we had the same experience as another reviewer. The woman said they will not fix it and hung up on us. That's when we had to get the Better Business Bureau involved. A good reputable company would have replaced their faulty installation. Made an appointment a week in advance, scheduled between 9:30 & 10:30 am this morning. By 10:45 a no show, called their office & person I spoke with was very apologetic and said they had me down for tomorrow. They offered to have someone here @ 11:30 am this morning so I waited. I waited until 12:30, still no call no show again. Wasted half of my day I had changed my schedule for. Not sure what their problem is but better to find out in the beginning how they do (or don't do) business. read more

The location is on the curve of Highland St. Once the granite was picked out and scheduled for install, you couldn't ask for a better crew. these guys came in covered the flooring, installed my new vanity and cleaned up as though they were never in my house. It was done with such precision, professionalism and quick. I absolutely will call when I am ready to do my kitchen. I found the owner very affable and extremely kind and helpful. read more

We had horrible white kitchen countertops and desperately needed them replaced as we had just bought new stainless steel appliances. After being told by another contractor that was going to do the job that he was now not going to do the project we were back to sqaure one. A Granite MD was the first place we called and the only place we needed to call! They were wonderful. They were very precise and accurate with all measurements, took great care with their work, and were very freindly. After thinking we would have to shop around forever there was no need. Our kitchen is gorgeous and I am very proud to show it off to anyone we have over. Great work, and the owner even worked with our budget to be sure we still got what we wanted. You know that feeling when you start a new remodeling project at your own home and on one hand you're really excited, while on the other hand you're a little worried and hope that everything will go as you expect it to go? That's how I felt when I first called A Granite MD to schedule estimate appointment for my kitchen remodeling project, not sure what the outcome will be. But I must say, once I met Asaf, all my concerns where gone. He showed his professionalism and experience from the moment my husband and I told him what we wish to change in our kitchen, as he took measurements, explained about our options for the countertops (including the differences between the stone options), he explained how their company operates their projects and promised that he will be our contact man through the whole project - which he was indeed available to me and my husband with any question we had up until the project was complete. The price was fair and the job's outcome was exactly what we expected it to be - the install crew even cleaned up our kitchen once the job was completed.
