There are very few gun shops, or for that matter, stores where you feel welcome, people treat you in a friendly open manner and you truly enjoy the experience. Really great selection of inventory, and friendly owners. I didn't expect too much when I saw the shop from the outside, but the building is very large on the inside. Desert Eagle guns had everything from cowboy guns to Ar's and class III stuff. Owner was very friendly, low pressure, and knowledgeable. Selection is good, the older guy in there knows HIS stuff and so does the other older guy. Even the new guy Ive seen in there a few times during the week knows his stuff. But thats it. They have desent gear options. But when I was in a while back, the lady that was in there seemed like I was wasting her time when I asked to see a few different guns in their glass cases. In a place of business, the way she treated me was unprofessional and rude. If you want to sell more guns, let your visitors take their time and look. By far the best gun shop around. As a woman, I frequently get disregarded when I walk into a gun shop which is pretty annoying. The guys here are great--they'll actually treat you like you're a human who is interested in buying guns/ammo/etc but they're not going to pressure you into buying something you don't need. The guys--and gal!--who work here are friendly and knowledgeable, and the gun selection isn't what you would expect of a little mom and pop type gun store. I was just driving through town and decided to stop. Was sure glad I did! I work at a gun range in another state, and I was pleasantly surprised by their firearm selection. They have products that have just come onto the market, and their mark-up is pretty reasonable. Not too expensive on the new products, and the used ones are very, very fair. I've lived in Prescott for 23 years and frequented all of the gun shops in both Prescott and PV. I have to agree with what others have said this is the finest gun shop in the area. Both owners Boris and Maria are devoted to make this a consumer friendly gun shop regardless of what a customer is looking for. I've now purchased 2 high end 308 AR's a Les Baer and a LaRue tOBR at a very competitive price compared to an on line purchase. Their inventory is sure to please every every buyer regardless of what level of weapon they are looking for. The staff is also very helpful in helping customers without the condescending treatment I have run into in other gun shops. I highly recommend this shop to everyone wether a novice or experienced gun owner. It's also nice to have another Class III dealer in the area. read more

I am surprised that there is only 1 other review about this place. I went in and, like Adrian, was surprised at the large selection for being such a small shop. I've got Scottsdale Gun Club right down the road from where I live so I am used to a Walmart sized selection of firearms but I am also used to a bunch of jacked dudes who wished they were SF and don't want to talk to you unless your about to drop quite a few Gs! I believe the guy who was helping me was Sam, (sorry if I got your name wrong) and even though I told him I was just getting a wish list together, he never treated me like I was wasting his time and had a ton of knowledge and never was pushing me to buy anything. I also talked to Boris who is also a wealth of knowledge and the guys here are just really down to earth and friendly. I was surprised at the variety and the "not run of the mill" firearms they had in there. I definitely recommend checking them out and I would make the drive up there from Scottsdale when I want to make a purchase! read more
