I purchased a Taurus GX4 from Pawn Palace. I went home to check the Taurus website for warranty…read moreinformation. The Taurus website asked me to provide the serial number. I was then informed that the firearm has been on recall since 2023. I now have to ship the gun back to Taurus and wait 3-6 weeks to get my weapon back. I also have to pay the shipping and wait to be reimbursed for that, too. I called Pawn Palace to inform them that they sold me a firearm on recall without informing the buyer. I was told by the owner that, "The gun was used." He then stated that "we sell guns on recall all the time." He then said it was an "optional recall. Just send it back to Taurus." How about Pawn Palace send it back for me? They sold me the defective gun. "Optional Recall"? On a handgun! It's not a weed eater. You REALLY don't want to be walking around with a defective GUN!! People could get hurt. It was easy to find that the gun has been on recall for two years. To sell me the gun without informing me that the gun was on recall is just shady business. The majority of the staff at Pawn Palace are wonderful people. The gentleman that I assume is the owner is not a very nice man. He looks like the father from "The People Under The Stairs". I don't mean that as an insult, it's just the best way I can describe him. I have purchased two firearms at Pawn Palace. I have always redeemed my Pawn tickets. The business has profited from my visits and I am always respectful. The owner seems to detest me. He acts like he's disgusted by me. He looks at me like he'd almost rather throw me out of the store than take my money. I have no idea WHY! I tolerated it because Pawn Palace is the town of Cottonwood. I put up with it long enough. I have to make one more visit to Pawn Palace to retrieve some belongings, but that will be the last time.

I use Pawn Palace exclusively for my transfers. Not only are they efficient and effective, they…read moreare also the best price around for FFL transfers. I have never purchased a firearm directly from them. They have an "ok" selection. I feel like their selection of pawn products far outweighs their firearms selection (as it should be since they are a pawn shop). I usually walk around and check their prices of pawn merchandise while waiting on them to finish my transfer paperwork and for the most part I feel like their prices are decent. But as with all used items; they are only worth what someone is willing to pay, so the prices are subjective and I don't have an opinion on them one way or another. The customer service is always great. The owner and employees are always attentive and when they are not super busy I am always greeted promptly upon entering. It's nice that they have situational awareness of who is in their store since they sell firearms and ammunition. I will continually use them for all of my FFL transfer needs, and in the event that they ever have anything on their shelf that I am interested in, I would not hesitate to purchase it.

Absolutely horrible customer service provided by the Vice President, Sherri…read more I scheduled their CCW class back in October for a December slot. A week before the class began I changed my mind and decided not to attend. When I went in to cancel my slot and receive a refund it turned into a huge ordeal. The gentlemen working the store (although pleasant) were unable to do anything to help me, instead handing me a business card for Vice President Sherri and directing me to contact her for a resolution. I sat in the store on what turned in to a 20 minute phone conversation with her. Sherri was completely unwilling to cancel my class and refund my money. I sat through a cringeworthy sales pitch (guided by some mystery man in the background of the phone call) about why they think they are better than other classes, the benefits of their class, and was offered multiple times to reschedule, none of which applied to what I was calling about. Sherri said they are not able to process refunds on classes due to the business eating the cost of credit card processing fees and reward points earned, yet still refused even after I offered to receive a refund minus these estimated costs. Adding to the confusion, she said if I go through the entire class and say I "didn't learn anything" then she would process a full refund, including the aforementioned fees. Sherri would rather go through all that headache and argue with a customer than simply do the right thing and refund my money to begin with. She seemed far more concerned with 'winning the battle' on the phone than doing right by her customer. The lack of refundability was also never disclosed prior to pre-paying for the class. I was offered store credit after significant back and forth, which I refused. After this experience I am no longer interested in ever doing business with Insight again.
