Others can write the book on any number of firearm aspects, especially when it comes to customer service. Bucky O'Neill Guns has excellent customer service. They have a small staff that can assist the firearm owner with non-major work on their firearms. They will mount scopes and get you "on paper." They also have an excellent selection of handguns, both pistols and revolvers. Whether new or used, I've never seen a kludgey firearm that passed its prime mechanical state decades ago. They have some really cool stuff. Great to look through while you're awaiting your turn at the register. What impresses me most is the knowledge of those who work there. Talking with Mark or Jim always results in learning more about firearms... they know their stuff. No "Bravo Sierra." Two downsides: they're a small shop. They can order most everything and get it quickly -- and if they can't, you'll know about it: no empty promises. The second downside: almost always, in more cases than not, I leave with less money than I had when I entered the store. Still trying to figure out why...

It is a small shop with a HUGE collection and selection of firearms. Jim and his very capable crew frequently reset the store and you get to discover even more hidden gyms! Absolutely horrible customer service provided by the Vice President, Sherri…read more I scheduled their CCW class back in October for a December slot. A week before the class began I changed my mind and decided not to attend. When I went in to cancel my slot and receive a refund it turned into a huge ordeal. The gentlemen working the store (although pleasant) were unable to do anything to help me, instead handing me a business card for Vice President Sherri and directing me to contact her for a resolution. I sat in the store on what turned in to a 20 minute phone conversation with her. Sherri was completely unwilling to cancel my class and refund my money. I sat through a cringeworthy sales pitch (guided by some mystery man in the background of the phone call) about why they think they are better than other classes, the benefits of their class, and was offered multiple times to reschedule, none of which applied to what I was calling about. Sherri said they are not able to process refunds on classes due to the business eating the cost of credit card processing fees and reward points earned, yet still refused even after I offered to receive a refund minus these estimated costs. Adding to the confusion, she said if I go through the entire class and say I "didn't learn anything" then she would process a full refund, including the aforementioned fees. Sherri would rather go through all that headache and argue with a customer than simply do the right thing and refund my money to begin with. She seemed far more concerned with 'winning the battle' on the phone than doing right by her customer. The lack of refundability was also never disclosed prior to pre-paying for the class. I was offered store credit after significant back and forth, which I refused. After this experience I am no longer interested in ever doing business with Insight again.
