Unfortunately, I have to be in a Wi-Fi area in order to use my phone like that. And they don't have Wi-Fi. I needed very specific things size wise. And you're not allowed to open packaging but when you pick up a lamp and you lightly shake it and you hear broken glass, but you're not allowed to open up the package and see what exactly broke why bother buying it at half price if you're not gonna be able to use it. This happened repeatedly also I was looking for a specific size bathroom medicine cabinet. Since much of the writing on the boxes didn't have dimensions, and I couldn't open the boxes because it's against the rules. I could find boxes that I think might've had the right sized item inside but I really couldn't take the gamble especially when I can't see if they're scratches or dents or a door ripped off, etc. I think the only thing I will come back here for is tile. If you're doing a craft project and you need a few pieces of tile or you're doing something special to cover a table top and you only need a few feet. This is the place to come for the tile. Unfortunately, the majority of the tile is not labeled and not priced and I hate having to run up to the counter every single time I find something to find out how much it's gonna cost. It's just ridiculous. I found a similar place, not too far away, where the people don't mind if you open the items to look at them and they will even go so far as to take a light fixture and wire it to a test area to show you that it works. Honestly I blame influencers for showing off their finds and management for then taking advantage of people also looking for the same deals. But I'm over influencers and brands caring more about influencers than the people who have kept them in business for years, instead we pay more for an item than it's being sold for in the original store. So because your system isn't able to prevent fraudulent theft of your gift cards I am left without my gift card funds? We were asked if we had been to the warehouse before. Answering that we hadn't, it was explained that auction items are on the left, and items for sale are on the right. These are primarily items the university has replaced, or items students and staff have left behind. Rows of mismatched office desks to choose from. We settled on a smaller sized deck. It is older yet built to last. It is probably a good 20 years old, and possibly has another 20 years of life in it. The desk was only $10! For another $5, an all plastic chair with wheels was purchased to go with it. I was hoping to find a bookshelf as well. The bookshelves they had were either not in the style or condition I wanted. Along with office furniture, the ASU Surplus store side has computers, laptops, random office equipment and clothing. Surprisingly, they even had dozens of cleats that were new in the box. Unfortunately, they did not have cleats in the size/sport combinations that would work for any of my children. The auction side was a crazy mix of items. See photos. On the day of my visit, there was a mix of large machinery. Auctions are run through an online auction house. Checking out was easy. The guy who helped me was polite. He was very nice about assisting me in loading my purchase into my vehicle. Make sure to bring a credit or debit card. ASU Property Surplus does not accept cash. All sales are final. Items are as-is.
