The variety of ice creams (both dairy and non-dairy for those who are lactose intolerant like me) and the ability to sample them without pressure was great. The server took care of us, and the outdoor seating was the perfect place to enjoy our cones on a hot summer night. The employee told Joe that he could not wait inside unless he was ordering ice cream immediately. Joe again explained that his friend was almost there, but the man nastily told him to wait outside instead. My husband, not wanting any confrontation, went outside and stood in 104° weather waiting for his friends. When they arrived, they all went inside and still spent about $25 on ice cream. What upsets me most is that there was no apology, no explanation, and the store was completely empty at the time. Nobody should be treated this way, especially over simply waiting a few minutes for a friend inside an ice cream shop. I will absolutely be contacting the manager or owner to understand why this happened. I can also guarantee that I will never recommend or return to Monster Shakes after hearing about this disgraceful treatment of my dear husband.
