This was definitely located away from the touristy areas, and in a more residential neighborhood, but surprisingly still walkable from our hotel in Darling Harbour, and perfectly on the way to the Glebe Foreshore Parks, and just past the Sydney Fish Market (currently partially under renovation).
Decanso means "relax" in Spanish and Tagalog, and the quaint little cafe perfectly reflects that. The atmosphere was casual and the food homey, like eating at a friend's house. Food was delicious. The lumpia had a strong vegetal taste, clearly home made. The tapsilog with garlic rice hit the spot, and the spicy lechon was a hearty way to start the day. read more
