San gennaro pizza
Rafael J.

While passing through MCO, I was able to stop in to this pizza joint for lunch. It's a simple and clean design with the smell of fresh made pizza, right in the middle of terminal c. I honestly was impressed with the pizza given that it was in an airport. Most airports provide limited options and poor quality, but I thought that the pizza and sub that I tried were actually pretty good. Even the pricing isnt too far off from other pizza locations outside of the airport. Both items came out quickly and the staff was prompt with making and cooking everything I ordered.

I'm amazing, one of the best people stops I've ever been to in Florida. Price is decently affordable, the pizza melts in your mouth and I can't get enough of the little deliciousness of this place.

A "Margherita" Pizza

When a pizzeria boldly claims to serve 'AUTHENTIC Neapolitan pizza,' one anticipates at least a passable pie, even at an airport. After all, a Margherita pizza is pretty simple right? However, with their boasts and my $20, this pizza was more of a food crime. First off they gave me a cheese pizza - making it worse, the cheese was grossly excessive leaving a swimming in a pool of grease on top. Upon highlighting that I received the wrong pizza, the staff insisted it was correct as they threw a clump of basil on top. Apparently, that's what the chefs at Desano think a Margherita pizza is? Be wiser than me and don't let their marketing and pretty pizza ovens fool you.

The size is perfect for the price, the flavor is Really Good and the brick oven gives the pizza more flavor on the bottom; the pizza dough has some well balance ingredients and it was perfectly cooked. The Female Ebony Queen cook knows what's she's doing . It's really hard to find a good place to eat inside the Airport and this one is one big A plus.

I have tried the Margherita and cheeseburger pizza. They are always good and prompt. It would be awesome if they sold by the slice, but for now it's not an option.

Meatballs are kinda horrible. The only reason for 2 * is the really nice chef and the cashier franciel. She's great. Food bleh. Pizza ultra greasy. Meatballs

My partner commented that it seemed odd that the accessible spaces were towards the back of the lot, until we saw that it was where the building's curb cuts and no drop were so it would be the path easiest to navigate. We entered the space, and it was warm and inviting, no overly crowded but had a few people milling around. I glanced at the bar menu, and made the comment that this would be a great place to have a nice drink with friends on a weekend evening. The slices of pizza are HUGE! and do not skimp on toppings! We both really enjoyed our meal, I got the special French onion pizza which had good depth of flavor, a great balance of the Gruyère and mozzarella for both flavor and classic pizza stretch/overall coverage. The mustard base was good, helping round out the caramelized onions without allowing the sweetness to overwhelm. My partner got the saganaki slice, and added "regular" grilled chicken to up the protein, and we both agreed that the fresh lemon juice squeezed on was the perfect finale of this slice. Delicious, easily customizable, HUGE! but also good for the budget and a delightful neighborhood place that I can't wait to get back to and try more from.

We quickly placed our order for different pizzas and had a couple of drinks as well. I ordered the down-home, which is typically my go to. My husband decided to put an order for the same slice and thanked me for the recommendation later. The food was served via a really kind staff member, not long after we sat down. Thank you for such a great experience and we look forward to coming back

The thinnest place I've ever seen. Only room for two lines of people in the main area, one line for ordering, one line for picking up. Behind the counter was quite the operation. Pies being baked in one oven, being put on display, and then another oven jam packed with slices being warmed for the customer, along with their accompanying garlic knot. Every slice comes with a complimentary knot. I'm pretty sure I saw whole pizzas going out with eight included knots. The service was pretty good. Efficient, friendly enough workers. There was an aura of hurry up, what do you need, but with a line out the door literally all night, I do not blame them one bit. And the slice factory line got you in an out as quickly as it possible could. As for the slice itself, it was pretty ok. Good crust, foldable slice. Very cheesy, which is needed for most clientele who are in the middle of downtown in need of munchies. Slim toppings, though, and even after the heating process, the slice was kind of cold. Overall, for the convenience and the price, this place was good. I'll definitely come back under the right circumstances.

I asked if they offered a military discount, and the employee told me they did. When I presented my military ID, he refused to apply the discount and then attempted to take my government-issued military ID out of my hand to inspect whether it was legitimate. That interaction really caught me off guard and made me uncomfortable. Regardless of the store's policy, there are more respectful and professional ways to handle that situation. I still purchased my food and ordered a standard cheese pizza, hoping the food would make up for the experience. Unfortunately, it was pretty average. The bottom of the pizza was pale and seemed undercooked, so it lacked the crisp texture I was expecting. The ambience, however, did seem really nice. They have upstairs seating that overlooks the street, which could make for a nice spot if you're dining in. Overall, I understand busy shifts can be stressful, but customers should still be treated with courtesy and respect. Better customer service and more consistency in the quality of the pizza would go a long way. Based on this visit, I don't see myself returning.

The strombolis are what we come here for. They're HUGE, crispy, and made so well. You can customize them with whatever toppings you want, but our go-to is pepperoni, sausage, and green peppers. The red sauce is really flavorful, too. Their pizza is great as well, and the slices are massive. We've also had their chicken wings, which are really good, and they'll make them as crispy as you want them. They have a great beer selection on tap (which I love), a full bar, and plenty of high tops and bar seating. The location is also super convenient, right downtown near Dr. Phillips Center and not far from the Kia Center. It's a great spot to grab some food and drinks before or after a show or game. We always have a good experience here, and between the strombolis, the beer, location, and the service, we will definitely keep coming back.

The food came out remarkably fast, too. Perfect food, great prices, and top-tier service. We'll definitely be making this our go-to spot whenever we're in the area for a show!

The server seemed so monotone and as other's have said robotic in his manerisms. When we specifically asked about something gluten free because right above their door they clearly advertise gluten free we were advised that really the safest thing to get is just a salad...seriously? If I want to have a salad that's something I will just do at home. They said their pizza is gluten free but they don't really take any precautions like cooking it on a seperate tray when it's in the oven so it will probably be contaminated. My husbands pizza looked so doughey and from what he described it was so chewy he could hardly manage to eat it but he was hungry and knew it was going to be a long night. My other family member had pasta with meat sauce that she said was the worst sauce she'd ever had on pasta. Then it took a little bit to even get a manager involved and thankfully they discounted our meals because for how expensive it was the food was quite disappointing. I can't say much about the atmosphere since we ate outside and not inside. It was a beautiful day outside so I guess that part of it was nice. All in all I am skipping this on my next trip into Orlando.

Three salads, an olive appetizer, two beers, bread, three pizzas, one dessert, all nailed perfectly. Server even checked in about our food allergies. Two months later, tried going with my fiance. 6:30pm reservation on a Sunday. We showed up ten minutes early, to try and be cordial in case it was busy again, like last time. We walked in to four full tables, and four that were clearly unbussed and still dirty. Three servers are handling the four tables. We're greeted, and the first thing we're asked is if we'd "be okay sitting at the bar?" We told them about our reservation, and we're asked to wait a few minutes... while the servers went back to their other customers. Immediate red flag. It's still loud and cold, inside, with the owner and two other BoH members handling food orders. After we told them again about our reservation, we asked if we could sit on the patio. Nodding at each other and pointing that none of the dirty tables inside still had been cleaned, whatsoever. The young server that finally sat us invited to go over the menu as she went to "find out who would be helping us, this evening." (It turned out to be her, with obvious reluctance on her face.) We then waited ten minutes, with room temperature water and another couple eating takeout pizza, directly from the box, five feet away from us... On a night we both had planned for weeks. She inevitably came back, and we Immediately told her we needed to leave. There's no reason why three servers can't handle that lax of a clientele volume, while also bussing their own tables. If you're dropping around $30 a person on dinner, with the literal business owner present behind the counter, that level of blatant laziness shouldn't even be possible. We'll try again on a day expected to be busy. They clearly need some fire under their asses, and it's not coming from where it should be.
