Ryan was quite patient with me as he allowed me to test out the 3 different infotainment systems. After trying them all out, I choose one and was quoted at $923.74 and had to wait a week to get it installed since this is a popular place. The other place I consulted didn't even let me choose what infotainment system I wanted and quoted me at $100 higher than this place. They were able to install it in about 2 hours. The only real issue I've seen with it is that it has more glares than the original system that was in there.

The technician created a basic workaround to get my DS18 BTC-Five Bluetooth receiver working via…read moreaux, but the setup was incomplete and poorly wired. After the install: I lost power to my 12V lighter socket, so I couldn't charge my phone. He mostly likely tapped into the same circuit as the lighter socket, causing power loss (Yeah. He didn't warn me about that before the install!) The audio was also making intermittent Bluetooth pairing failures. I would be driving and then music would stop and start again. Bluetooth phone calls stopped working--only music streamed. The install skipped key components I provided, including the fuse tap, LOC, and amp integration What I learned--and what others should know: The 3.5mm aux jack on the BTC-Five is audio-only and doesn't support calls To restore full functionality, the fuse tap must be moved to a different ACC slot so the lighter circuit isn't interrupted. For Bluetooth calls, you need to use the BTC-Five's RCA outputs and route them through a head unit or amp that supports hands-free calling. If I had known all this upfront, I probably would've skipped the install entirely and just kept using my regular USB-C to 3.5mm Audio Aux Cable Adapter. It was simpler, reliable, and didn't disable anything in my car. No wonder the guy had a weird vibe! I would have given them 5 stars if they had wired correctly, but the job was rushed and sloppy. He didn't create a solution. He created a problem! Now I'm going to have to get my brother to help me fix this. He said the tech most likely installed the tap with only one fuse (for the BTC-Five). Or inserted it backwards, cutting off power to the original circuit. Or used a single-slot tap, which reroutes power entirely to the new device. This experience taught me how to reclaim my install and turn shortcuts into teachable upgrades. If you're integrating amps or planning full audio control, skip the aux hack and wire it properly. I wasn't impressed with this install. What a total waste of money!!!!!!

He even offered to buy those in the waiting room lunch too! Really nice of him. Bring some reading material or a laptop to watch some shows on. It'll make 3 hours go by quick! John and his team did a really good job on the install! Wires were tucked in. Everything looked great. 0/5 Stars - Dangerous Installation and Unprofessional Business Practices…read more I hired Manuel to install a subwoofer & amplifier in my new car & received dangerously substandard work that required expert intervention to identify & correct. The technician who assessed the damage found numerous serious problems: - Power wire installed through a cut metal hole in the firewall WITHOUT a grommet, creating a safety hazard allowing engine fumes & moisture into the cabin - Improper amplifier setup using a single line output converter instead of the required three for a 5-channel amp - Resulting audio issues including noise, feedback, and loss of fade/balance functionality - System was impossible to tune properly due to incorrect wiring - Sound dampening that I paid for, was never installed in any doors - Exposed power wires under the hood (not loomed or secured) creating a significant fire hazard - Bass knob improperly installed with exposed wiring routed through the steering column When confronted with these issues, Manuel repeatedly promised to reimburse labor costs but never followed through. Communication became increasingly difficult, and he eventually changed his business name and location. I was forced to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau which received no response from Manuel. I also prepaid for speaker installation before he relocated to Arizona, but never received the service or the speakers themselves, with the excuse that he didn't have "the right hardware." I still have yet to receive the refunds that he has promised, I've waited for months. I strongly advise against using this business for any car audio needs, as both the workmanship & business ethics are severely lacking. Though I am out far more money than I'd like to admit due to this unfortunate situation - I hope this review helps someone else make a different purchasing decision. PLEASE proceed with caution. **EDIT** Photos/screenshots of my experience have been added to the business page.

To my surprise, I was met with exceptional service. The staff was friendly, helpful, and kind, and they didn't treat me differently because I had a gift card or needed a small service. I didn't expect this level of service, especially since I had walked in without an appointment. Jose, the technician, installed the tint within less than an hour! I still had $65 left on my gift card, and the staff suggested that I go to the showroom down the street to see if I could find a phone case or something else of a smaller amount. I considered going, but I knew that I wouldn't be back in deep Mesa again as I'm from South Scottsdale. So, I decided to check it out! Unfortunately, after the installation, I discovered that most of it wasn't working correctly. The backup camera wasn't connected at all, and when I reached out for help, the installer stopped responding. At that point, I was out the money I had paid--including a tip--and had to find someone else to fix it before moving across the country. One of the main reasons I purchased this system was for safety during my cross-country drive. Since the Bluetooth phone connection wasn't working, I was forced to hold my phone against my chest under my seatbelt while driving--not safe and certainly not legal. To make matters worse, several installers refused to even look at my Android-based unit. They told me those systems are usually installed incorrectly and rarely work properly. Thankfully, they were wrong. I took my car to Custom Car Concepts, and from the moment I arrived, the experience was completely different. Mike got me in right away, properly installed the backup camera, and made sure everything else was working exactly as it should. Did I have to pay to have it fixed? Of course.
