Bought a 2025 Sol Dusk and really enjoy it after 3 weekend trips. Seems true that it is very well built. Only issue is with the dealership, Dependable RV. Their lot is full of potholes and mud. The salesman, David, didn't seem too knowledgeable. When we picked it up, he was there and didn't realize that it didn't have a breakaway cable so I towed it around the lot with the wheels locked (I should have known better). We are so tired of the run around and never getting a response. We rolled out in a brand new trailer we absolutely fell in love with. We drove off and got to the spot for our first night and no power cord or any accessories needed to function! We went to the store bought things we needed. Dependable told us they will pay us back and no response from that. Now we plug our trailer in Hook up water Water was nasty gray and they never cleaned out the winterizer, unfortunately, we showered and drink that water until we realized it was gray. Refrigerator has a three-way system, propane off grid using battery and plug-in. Unfortunately it only works on plug-in. Propane does not work nor does the 12 V system. We had an amazing guy come out and taught us more than we ever knew and were told about from the very beginning. He was extremely helpful and told us how to fix certain things what to do and so on he explained to me that someone will get back in touch with me to fix the refrigerator, it has been two weeks. No response. I have sent many emails text messages. I have called many times with zero response. They are they are not dependable whatsoever Lee the salesman has been very nice and unfortunately, I lost my cool because of the lack of care or response. I apologized to him for losing my cool. I am very upset that we have paid so much money for something that we were so excited for and we haven't had nothing but countless issues, because someone didn't do the quality control or extensive checklist was not done on our unit I am trying to get a hold of them to figure out when they can please fix my refrigerator to where I replaced the propane twice within three weeks to come and find out I had a small leak to the accessory they added I did not know I had a leak in the propane until my neighbor tells me he has been smelling something like rotten eggs coming from my trailer. I have called numerous times asking for and he never calls back. He never responds back his name apparently is DJ. I think I've seen him one time and he behind the desk and behind doors and he will not talk to anybody. I am so sick and tired of this. I wish that I bought my RV from someone else, but with limited options, this is where I had to go. I have never written a review that is negative like this whatsoever am a firm believer that go with the flow and everything will happen, but when we are not being taken care of, and we are being completely disrespected, I will write a review on a company If you were thinking about buying or even getting your RV serviced, I would definitely think twice make this your last option. I bought a 2015 GMC Yukon XL. The salesman was very helpful and kind during our interaction with him. Now first glance, the vehicle looked in good condition. We took it for a test drive. It drove fine. There was no signs of any issues so we signed the papers and purchased it.. a couple weeks later if you problems arose, and the concern for safety was in question. I went back to the dealership spoke with the manager and expressed my concerns, and she immediately had me bring the vehicle in the next day for repairs. She told me that they have been through a few mechanics since the vehicle had its safety inspection done and apologized and didn't want me to think that they sold non-dependable vehicles and they want to back up their companies name so at no cost to me all the safety concerns I had were repaired. read more

Our horrific experience with this Dealership began the day we bought our Cherokee Wolf Cub travel trailer. Our Salesman was courteous enough and our financing went through without a hitch which is no surprise as we have excellent credit. However, once we left the lot with the trailer and were on a get-away fishing excursion in Kenai, our trailer hitch broke. We patched it up and came on home. My husband removed the whole hitch off of the Cub and I took it into the Dealership to see if the Service Department could help with taking it in and repairing it, so that we could take it home and put it right back on the Cub...no that is not what happened...I was berated and told that it was all my fault and that I had to have driven the Cub home with the trailer hitch in the down position, like we had not properly wound the hitch back up to "travel" position. I was so furious, I left the Shop and we ordered a new one and my husband put it on, even though we purchased an extended service agreement at the Salesman's behest. Extended Service Warranty's are worthless when you cannot get the Dealership to respond to your calls, emails, texts, or visits to the showroom for service. It did not stop there. Later last summer, our slide-out broke and would not slide out smoothly and evenly to the proper stop position that allows you to move around in the kitchen, living area and access the bathroom and queen sized bed properly. Again, numerous calls, emails and today our last visit to the Dealership to try to get our Cub into the Service Department. The Finance Manager told my husband that there were plenty of other places that we could take it to get it repaired and that it wasn't their problem anymore. He would not give us the GM's phone number and said that it was against their Policy to do so. My husband was so angry, disappointed and fed-up with this so called Professional Dealership that he told the people that were in there looking at vehicles/RV's to purchase, not to bother buying from them, that they would also be stuck out of luck if they ever needed anything from the Dealership after the Sale was final. Highly do not recommend coming here. Very sketchy salesman. I went and bought a car from Kanuri Stokes. He sold me a car knowing it had a whole list of issues. He assured me there was nothing wrong with this car and come to find out it had a gas leak, the axels were messed up, the radiator was deteriorating, and the auto start that came with the car stopped working. I came back to let him know of these issues and he said he can try and fix them. He basically slapped a bandage on and said "good luck" a few days after my car was "fixed" by them the leak came back and I took it to a dealership and they were able to fix most of the issue. After the leak came back I reached out to Kanuri and I got no response. He didn't reply to any of my messages. I do not recommend going to this Used Dealership. Long story short, I feel like I was lied to, not only about being called in a timely fashion, but what they found or didnt find. I left messageS for the owner/GM, never heard back. Called back spoke with the guy who sold me the truck, never called back. After he said he would. Spoke praises to him about him and still no phone call back. Called back again, he was busy, left a message,no call back. Called back today and after an apology and no explanation on the delay of promised communication, I am taking my truck elsewhere. Thankfully I had to get a warranty with the financing. Two weeks later I got my truck back. I went back to talk to Farley, my salesman, and ask if they would just swap it for a different truck and he said no and they are in business to make money. We purchased a vehicle from them in Nov 2023, that evening the check engine light came on and started flashing. We brought the vehicle back the very next workday. Within a day their service manager called and said the issue was fixed and it was ready to be picked up. The issue was not fixed, the engine light started flashing and the vehicle was stalling again that same day. I brought the vehicle back a second time, the next day was told it was fixed and we can pick it up. Well the check engine light was flashing and the car was stalling by that evening. When we brought the vehicle back a third time they kept the vehicle nearly 3 weeks then told us that they are not able to fix the vehicle and don't know why the check engine light is flashing, and it pick it up. Vehicle I purchased here is NOT "dependable" - Electrics on a 2014 Suburban 1500 LT go haywire (in the summer & in the winter and in between) a number of times leaving it dead. ((ongoing issue from the date of purchase till now - 5 months later)). They have no service department and you have to really push them for them to take any action - No customer service at all - they just want to make a sale and kick you out the door. Attempted to buy a 2008 Chevy Trailblazer from them last week. Had put a deposit on it on August 20th, salesman stated at that time the vehicle had at least a year of tire tread, minimal rust and had received a full mechanical inspection. He knew that I was flying in on August 25th and headed immediately to my house on the Kenai Peninsula. I purchased a CarFax report and paid for a six month full-coverage insurance policy before arriving. I even texted him from the airport to let him know I was on my way, he replied with "Sounds good! See you when you get here". When I got there, there was no vehicle. Was told it was in the shop due to a "Fluid Puking" issue, he asked if I was interested in a Chevy Cruze instead; my house is not on a maintained road and would be inaccessible with a Cruze. Ended up leaving on foot, in the rain lugging a suitcase, pistol case and backpack with over $8k cash in it looking for other dealerships. Between the rain, highway noise and bad signal, it was difficult to even make a phone call from the sidewalk. Got stranded in Anchorage for the night, found a "cheap" motel 6 for $235.00 which a salesman from a different lot was kind enough to give me a ride to. I was able to purchase a vehicle from a Lithia lot and leave town the following evening. When I had first arrived at Dependable, my cab driver told me I should have "No worries, they sell good cars here", even an employee from another lot seemed surprised at the situation, seems this place has been around a while and has a decent reputation. Interestingly, I was also told that they have their own shop, so I still should have been able to at least lay eyes on the Blazer. I will give them some credit, they were very courteous when I called them later that night about my deposit and refunded it immediately, without question. Bottom line however is that when I texted from the airport the salesman HAD to have known that vehicle was not available, even a heads up that late in time would have at least given me a chance to regroup from the airport where it was dry and had some quiet corners with a good cell signal available where I would not have been so out of place with all my luggage. The real gut punch didn't come until this morning (Sep 1st), when I saw that they had reposted that same Trailblazer for sale, $1000.00 over the previous asking price. I can't help but wonder if this entire fiasco was due them wanting to raise the sale price. read more

Went in to test drive a truck. Everything went well and I told the employee I was very interested and set up a buyers inspection at another location for the next day. I told the employee I would be in the next day at a specific time to pick it up and get the inspection. He agreed and everything seemed legit. I show up the following day to take it to the shop and he informs me it sold that morning, right under my nose. Now, I know I did not put any money down to hold it, but any self respecting person that gives their word to hold a car for half a day so you can go through the steps to make sure it is a smart purchase, and continues to sell is out under your nose, deserves a poor review. For starters, I usually never write reviews, but in this case people need to know before you even go near this place. I've purchased a vehicle 2 time from here and the first time was actually painless and easy. probably the fastest I've ever done. First one, later I found out it had a bad differential after I traded it in. It was definitely pre-existing because of some circumstances. (Very long story) BUT where it kicked it off was getting my second vehicle from Dependable. Again it was fast and enjoyable at the beginning. I had upside down payments on my trade in and supposedly I got a good deal on.(Took on a grand) I left with a cheaper vehicle because of that. Thats okay, because I was trying to cut my monthly payments which it did. I left happy. (6 month power train warranty[Basic]) BUT where it all went to hell is when exactly a month has passed and I notice metal on metal in the rear passenger wheel. I give Dependable a call and got directed to go to VW to do an inspection. I received the repair estimate(roughly $3500) and gave Dependable's Manager a call to see what they could do. He said he'd have to find out. In the span of two days exchanging info, (Keep in mind I had no vehicle and was using VW shuttle for transport, all awhile my vehicle is sitting at their shop.) I get a call back LATE in the day and I asked if they'd cover it.. Literally all he says is "no" and there was a pause like he wanted to end the call.. I asked if I could at least get the labor free if I buy the parts. He said he'll find out. Days later while my vehicle is STILL sitting, I get another LATE call back and was told they could only do 50% off on labor while I still had to buy parts. Frustrated at this point, having it only been a month since I've got the car and bad customer service like they don't give a damn, I had VW do the repairs. Long story somewhat short. I get in a heated conversation with the manger (He likes to put blame)because the obvious pre-existing problems they won't cover. I end up finding out who the owner was and talked with him. I had paper's ready and a description on what I have been going through. Ended up w/ a "Good Faith Form" Saying his "Expert Certified Mechanic" will take a look and replace the parts if he finds it. Literally gave them VW repair estimate. Got it looked at, they called me saying they found one item(Fixed), but telling me there was no other. I show up to show them the noise and the damn thing had it's check engine light blinking!! at it start while it was trying to bog down. I had it stay and had to wait over the weekend with no vehicle trying to get a hold of the owner or manager. until Monday, the owner himself along with the mechanic listened to the engine where the noise was obvious at idle. NOTE: Mechanic was staring at the engine dumbfounded that he somehow didn't catch that. Owner for some reason wanted to take it for a drive. They took off probably talking trash about the situation. Owner comes back bringing me to their garage to talk. He than go on on how I have been lucky I even got the vehicle and sometime older vehicles have these problems... The garage was empty with one car on the rack. Don't trust these people. The owner is definitely not empathetic and the manager can't fix any problems by himself without his boss. He also places a lot of blame on the customer. Unless you're looking forward to dealing with them after your purchase, DO NOT GO HERE! read more

I found 4 Burbs in their lot, (Suburbans), and found them to be large, good machines and TANKS! The one I choose was a later model 1500 LT with the Vortec engine. For Kunari-- It made me give "a" star or I would not have given any.. My daughter, with our help, purchased a 2011 Chev Cruze last spring. She was 17. Shortly after having the car, a pump needed replaced- around $180- not covered under "warranty". Shortly after that the Turbo on the car went out, needing replaced- COVERED UNDER WARRANTY BUT WARRANTY DID NOT PAY IT. I was told by Kunari that Dependable would not help and that it was "just" a $7,500 car, so what did I expect from it?". I wish he would have advised his thoughts on that up front and my daughter might have opted to increase the amount she was looking to spend as this car ended up costing $9,000.00 within the first 3 months of having it. Regardless, I am personally in the market for a $30,000 SUV and would pay $35K elsewhere for better service, honestly. Also, do not consider the warranty (United Car Care) as a factor if purchasing a vehicle from "Dependable" Used Cars per our experience, and also our mechanic advised they always refuse the claim and that "Dependable" Used Cars is aware of that. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM DEPENDABLE USED CARS!!! BEWARE CONSUMER FRAUD! They sell cars that are broken... They rip people off... $15,000 truck I just bought a couple months ago has a broken axle... the grand am they sold me in November (48,000 miles)broke down after a month and half...wouldn't go into gear, had a cracked axle, broken motor mount, firing wrong, and engine light kept coming on...so they replaced it with a Chevy truck that broke down less than 24 hours...the engine light kept coming on and had low engine power...they charged me a $1,000 fee and said I would have to trade it in like I did the grand am... I drove it maybe a week! So they give me the GMC saying the transfer case had been changed yet, after I had the brakes and rotors changed a mechanic told me they didn't change the seals...it was leaking. And he told me the axle were leaking too...I told Dependable the front axles were leaking fluid...they put seals for the transfer case in but didn't check the axle. ... they told me I should have got an inspection before I bought it... Im new to all this and Im not a mechanic... oh...and they put the grand am and chevy back on the lot for sale...the person the bought the grand am had the same problem...They have location in Anchorage and now Wasilla. The guy I talked to was a jerk and I told him I was going to file a complaint he said "we have laws that protect us, so it won't go anywhere" .... what laws ???? Laws that you manipulate by selling messed up cars...knowing you're selling messed up cars and protect you being dishonest and a money hungry swindler??? He really had no integrity... he said "I dont know what you did to that truck and it has lots of miles on it"... BUT, I did nothing to the truck ... I got pics of the axle caked with axle fluid within weeks of me purchasing it. And...what about the grand am that had an array of problems and I dumped mass money into, missed work... etc... the grand am that had only 48,000 miles on it when I bought it!!! Fact is they are negligent and are selling vehicles that are broke and dangerous!! The shop that was going to change the seals said the axle is so bad he could not conscientiously let me drive it...it is busted, and the bearings are in pieces with metal shavings ... he said it been that way for a long time... Good selection. Salesman was friendly day one. When it came to closing the deal I got horrible service. I called to check and they acted mysterious, was told to call back later. I called back later and nobody knew what was going on. I got a call back from Chris, the sales manager, he said I was calling too much and he would call me back in thirty minutes. I didn't want to put 1 star. There's a salesman names Chris. Very well spoken man...til he sold me a jacked up Dodge Journey. He'll know who I am now. This was my very first used car purchase... The day I took it off the lot. The car was not detailed but he gave me a free detail if I brought it back the next day with the use of a rental... anyways.I almost got into an accident because the damn horn didn't work! But it was too late to take it back because he was rushing out because they were closing .. the car died out as soon as I got home which is only 3 miles away from the dealership... I took the car in the next day let him know about what was going on and he said no problem he'll take care of it... Well it turns out that he didn't have the part for the horn so he put it on order and when he brought back my car after it was detailed it was like he poured Armor All and didn't wipe it off so everything was really inside of the car on the dashboard and in the cup holders.... I picked up the car again and they died out so I brought it back the next day and I told him that maybe something is wrong with the battery... Him and the other so-called mechanic looked at each other like I was Dumb and was just wiggling the battery around and was assuring me that the battery was new but they will switch it out... I picked up the car again and it died out again... So instead of taking the car back I kept calling him by that time they said that they couldn't do anything else with it because I didn't have the warranty on the car... So I've been paying on a car that hasn't moved in like 3 months and I've only had it for 6 months... He was the one that said I didn't need the insurance if the bank didn't have enough to cover that in the loan because he said that that was a good car and it was in good shape... Well me being a female and taking his word for it I settled for the car... So now I'm on here writing a review because he bs'd me.... Lot of people may exaggerate the truth when writing a review... But this experience for me was the worst with Chris and I business but that's just my opinion I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy a used car from that lot... One more thing... Every time I brought the car in he would always ask me "did you write a review for me? Don't forget to write a review" so here I am... They called me to come get my plates a month after the paper had expired. When i got in the lady at the front desk told me that i owed them the down payment. By this time i remembered signing a down payment contract that the dealer said would help me get lenders to pick up my loan due to my credit score. My own fault for trusting in people and not reading what i was signing. The "down payment" really doesnt go toward the bank or the payment of the car. Its just goes toward the dealership even though they priced the car $5000 over msrp. I had to make payments on top of my car payments to the dealership for the "down payment." The only thing "down" about it is my bank account. One aspect of business is customer satisfaction! You might get away with it now but for future business it eventually will come back to bite you in the rear. read more

I left a car there to sell with 4 new tires in the trunk to be sold with the car. They removed the tires from the car saying that it would be easier to sell if they were not there. After several months, I decided to ship the car home to the lower 48. The tires were not there and said it was my responsible to keep up with the tires. They just failed to put them back which was their responsible. If they removed them they should have put them back. I would never use them again or recommend them to anyone. They just stole my tires. read more
