"Dependable" is the last thing I would call this taxi service... second time now they needed me to give them directions. My first experience, the driver didn't know where South Campus at Syracuse U. was and had me give directions. Today, they didn't know where the bus terminal in Syracuse was and wouldn't be available for 30 minutes. How does a cab company not know where the main bus terminal in the city they operate is........ only used them for their student discounts. Dispatchers can be pretty rude - will hang up on you. Drivers take their sweet time, even when the meter is running. Not always on time when you call ahead but usually have cars available even if everyone else says it's an hour wait. Not great experiences so far, but still better than Blue Star!! read more

Would give this place no stars if possible. Called 4 separate times for a ride and they hung up on me every time I told them the address. Extremely rude, unprofessional and shady business practices. read more

Dispatcher was rude as hell. I work for a nonprofit, called to get a medicaid ride for a client. Client mistakenly said he rode with Dependable, so when the dispatcher couldn't find the ride, he got pissy with me. Totally uncalled for. Royal asshole. read more

Very rude dispatcher :-/ I would not recommend this taxi service. The driver was friendly, but they are a headache to deal with.

Best service and price around. The only taxi company I trust to get me where I need to be when I do. Great people too.

This is one of the worst taxi's I have ever been in. The car itself, looked like it was pulled from a junk pile and smelled like urine on the inside. The driver looked and smelled as if he just rolled out if a dirty clothes basket. I will never use them again. read more

Posted this on their page on Facebook then went to Google....and look where we ended up today. Called for a taxi one hour and thirty minutes ago. First time I called, the female, I don't know her name but she is the rudest person I have ever held a phone conversation with, completely wasted my time. Hung up after picking up the phone. Called back. She took down my information told me it would be 15-20 minutes. Twenty minutes passed thrice and some change. Called continuously. Did not answer and finally when she did put me on hold and hung up. Not the first time this, dare I say woman because she sure doesn't act like one, has done this. The male whom I get during the mornings on the phone is the complete opposite. Too bad for them because I travel quite a bit but they will no longer be getting my service. At all. This site will not be the only one to hear of the poor service. Disrespectful actions are deplorable and downright disgraceful. Have a nice day. So just to clarify. The opposite of dependable. I was told 15-20 min wait and the driver showed up 1 1/2 hrs later with no real excuse. The only excuse was that they took other calls before me when they weren't supposed to. I'll never use their service again. I'd rather walk 10 miles than use them. read more

Yesterday I was charged 60.00 for going 3 miles to green valley store in nedrow, quickly grabbing cash then to smiths supply Erie blvd for one minute. Driver didn't tell me not only did he keep meter runner ng but added on for stops. Pls had no idea until almost home it was 60.00. I got out and walked then and I have cancer. A young man stopped to help and I PD him. I give a lot of business to dependable I'm sick and two sick sons so we use them exclusively. No more read more

OMG, DO NOT use this company. I called two hours before to schedule a pick up and called when I was 10 minutes away to confirm and let them know that I was on time. They were 30 minutes late anyway. The driver was dirty, scary, and my kids and I saw his underwear and half of his butt! They held hands tightly during the ride, afraid for their lives. His car smelled of marijuana and he asked ME how to get to the airport. Luckily I had GPS and we made it to the airport safely and made our flight but we arrived much later than I had wanted. I have been in several taxi cabs around the world and this was by far the worst ever. I was just thankful that we made it there alive but my poor children will be scared forever. read more

By far the WORST taxi place ever. My sister called Oct 31st,2014 for a ride. They gave her a bogus time and never showed up. She called 37 times after to ask the lady who was working 11pm to 1am where her taxi was and the lady would simply hang up on on my sister. My sister was extremely calm and would call back. Only for the lady to hear her voice and hang up again without any hesitation. By far the most unprofessional business ever. The lady needs to be fired for her poor attitude.
