When I come, I bring the pants and try them on in the back room, then he'll mark where I want them hemmed with a piece of chalk. The turnaround is usually about a week and he takes cash only. Depending on the width of the pant leg, the price has been anywhere from $10-15. I had to take one of my pants back once because it was still slightly too long and he charged me $5. With alacrity "All Fit Tailoring and Alterations" took the decayed blanket and gave it new life. When I presented it to my mom today it brought her so much ease and "loved it". The dress was actually now shorter on one side because of the sloppy stitching and gave it a waveform appearance even when worn. The lines were uneven, it was extremely difficult to get this new large visible zipper to even move correctly although it was converted to a visible zipper to make it easier. Despite approaching openly and calmly for a refund, Magda was extremely cruel, immediately angry, and shouting at me. She kept shouting that there was absolutely nothing wrong AND that she could fix it....I was stunned to my core. I told her I wasn't comfortable proceeding with her. She said she could not give me a refund because she had no money to give, and told me to return in two days (all while shouting to also leave her shop). A kind patron felt very sorry for me and I was grateful this was witnessed. I returned with my fiancé and we were fortunately able to receive a refund via check. Maybe she is only comfortable shouting at women. We have supported this shop for 7 years, this will be our last time. You shouldn't treat people this way, it is shameful and unkind.
