Michael is by far the most advanced window tinting, clear bra, car wraps, ceramic coating place in the WHOLE entire State of Colorado. TRUST ME I WOULD KNOW!!! I am a nationwide exotic vehicle wholesaler that takes EVERY ONE of my cars that comes through the Colorado area straight to Denver Window Tint to do all the necessities that has to go on any vehicle, ESPECIALLY living in Colorado as it is so seasonal. Window tint is a must as the sun glare is extreme even when it snows! Clear Bra and Ceramic Coating is a must if you want to protect your paint from ALL these horrible road conditions year around. I came here to get my front two windows tinted to match the factory tinting in the back and to get a clear bra on the front. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The tinting only took an hour but the clear bra takes several hours, so plan ahead. Nice that it's only a couple of blocks from Dozens to kill a little time. There were several small wrinkles in the tinting initially but they told me these would go away and they did. I had scheduled my vehicles tint and clear bra to be done here based off of reviews. I figured I was in great hands and I even had a friend recognize the place and say that they did good work. I called and spoke with Mike, he quoted me over the phone and helped set an appointment that worked for both of us. Everything sounded great. When I arrived for my appointment there was a small line of people waiting to check in. The woman in front (Monica) was already flustered, and became super rude and demanding right out of the gate to other customers. It felt very unprofessional the way she talked too and handled customers questions when they do not understand. I am sure it is because her English is not that good. The wait time to get checked in was long and almost like they scheduled everyone at the same time. The waiting room was nice but not clean. The customer bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a week, so I passed on using it. As I am trying to get checked in, Monica became almost impatient and annoyed that the appointment I set was not even saved! They had no clue I was coming in even after getting the quote from "the owner" Mike. Not only was the appointment not saved but they couldn't even do the work the day I scheduled now, because they were too busy to take it on without an appointment in the book! WTF? It didn't end there, I was pretty upset but I understand. However, when booking a new appointment I wanted to verify what I was getting and what the coast was one more time. This is where the bait and switch happened. The price originally quoted jumped almost $200! When I asked why, she simply said it was not quoted correctly. I mentioned the owner Mike had taken the appointment and quoted me less originally. She started to argue with me and told me "I am Mike's wife so I can make decisions too" and that "I do not have to do the work there if I do not like the price".... Mind blown. I wound up leaving at this point and took my business elsewhere. I would not recommend this place as they seem to not really have it together or know what is going on. This is such a solid tint shop, but there is so much more they do. This is my 5th vehicle through here. The workmanship is top notch and Mike and the crew are fair, honest and great to deal with. This time I had my windows done, clear bra and because I couldn't get a silver roof on my new Range Rover- they vinyl wrapped it. Now it looks like my old RRS and just a bit more alive. The kicker, the wrap was more work then they estimated. It had to be obvious very early on, but they did a perfect job honored their quote (wouldn't even accept more after multiple offers) and worked until 8:00 on it. In the past, I have taken my car to other tint places to use a $100 tint Groupon and had better results than Denver Window Tint. I have absolutely no idea how they have such good ratings. I had two vehicles tinted. Both look like they were done by someone with no experience. One vehicle has some sort of gunk (looks like grease) between the film and glass on two of the windows. The other vehicle is even worse. Three of the windows are not cut correctly and have either noticeable gaps between the edge of the window and the edge of the film or are not secured all the way to the edge (they look as if they are peeling at the edge but they looked that way from day one, so it's not peeling as they were never applied properly). Another one of the windows cannot be rolled up or down without a loud squeak, as a result of the film not being applied correctly at the base of the window (it looks as if it's peeling, but the windows dried for 14 days before I ever rolled them down). Additionally, I was never contacted to be told my vehicles were done. Total lack of communication on their end. I called three times (after I got my vehicles back and inspected them) and asked to speak to the guy who set me up with the tint, to discuss the poor quality work and was placed on hold three times (all for at least 5 minutes before I hung up) but never did anyone actually get me to the individual who I needed to speak to. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place at all costs. They will perform subpar work and avoid taking responsibility. read more

Called the day before and spoke with Michael (George's son, and George is the owner) about having the front two windows on my car tinted to match the back windows. Quoted $89 for both and said it'd take an hour but I was welcome to make an appointment. Dropped my car off today on my lunch break and headed across the street to Five Guys. My car was done 55 minutes later and everything looked great! The VLT on the factory windows in the back was 26% and used dyed glass. The front windows were tinted to 25% VLT and also have the benefit of blocking UV and infrared as well. I was told not to lower the windows for 3 days (not a problem since it's winter!) and that ammonia based cleaners should not be used as the material is porous and ammonia will eat away at the adhesive. No glaringly obvious wrinkles, bubbles, or haziness upon initial inspection and I was told any of that would disappear over the next few days as the soap water evaporated out. Also there's a lifetime warranty on the material and I can take it back if anything needs to be fixed. Easy to get a quote, time estimates were accurate, professional and they stand behind their work. Good guys! read more

Due to excessive heat rolling off my four skylights, last year I asked Denver Window Tint (DWT) whether there was a film that would not damage the thermal seals on my skylights. They checked with the manufacturer and then assured me that using a particular grade of tint would be fine, and that the tint manufacturer would warranty the skylights. One year later, two of these skylights now have fog in them from broken seals. DWT says they are not under warranty because, unbeknownst to them, the warranty terms had been changed to not includes skylights. Now I have to replace these skylights and will probably go with models that are pre-tinted at the factory. But I didn't expect to have to pay out $1,500+ ($1,800 for my upgraded models) for two skylights. Another skylight just received hail damage, and of course the remaining skylight is likely to fail if it hasn't already. So i have to decide whether to replace all four skylights at $3,000+ read more

I had just the two front windows tinted and when they were done the driver window had a bug in it! They told me to bring it back another day! I brought it back and they did an even worse job! Went in thinking I was going to spend $500+, but after a quick conversation with Michael, he recommended instead of replacing the whole clear bra that I replace just the section that was damaged. The process seemed too good to be true, but I am beyond happy with the decision. He was able to match the section to where from a distance I can't even see a line where the patch was done. I also had the rear windows match tinted with heat rejection. The tint looks great, and the match is perfect. I can't tell you how much it meant to me as a customer that Michael suggested a cheaper alternative for the clear bra. They had the lowest price I could find in the area and same day availability. They have all their prices listed on their lobby window so there was no fuss about that. My total came to $277 for all windows except the windshield. Friendly people, fine customer service. They say it takes about 2.5hrs, but ended up taking 4hrs. This is still fine because everyone else will quote you for at least 4hrs to start. You could tell that they really took their time and was careful, because the tint looks flawless. Smooth as butter. they didn't properly clean the windows before applying the tint, you can see blatant streak marks from the dirty glass underneath, i only had two windows tinted how hard is it to clean them correctly beforehand. do not come here to get your windows tinted, also reset my trip meter before dropping the car off and when i got it back it had 8 miles on it, so not only did they do a bad job at tinting the windows they took my car for a joyride without saying anything. should've known it was gonna be bad when i watched the front desk lady try to reverse my car with the parking brake still up.
