Miranda is warm, friendly, and very professional. Her ability to put one at ease during what could be painful, stressful experience is amazing. My first visit back in June (my first waxing, by the way) was a fantastic experience. My visit on August 10th was equally wonderful and I look forward to enjoying many future appointments. read more

Miranda is awesome! I highly recommend it, the wax was as painless as can be and she was very detailed about it. I did buy the Groupon but she also mentioned every 6 waxes you earn a free one. I normally go to European Wax Center and the service is sooo inconsistent with waxers who just don't care to pay attention to detail. She was detail oriented and did a great job. Also very cute boutique and she is very friendly! read more

Miranda truly cares about the person behind the wax, she is professional, warm, and somehow my best friend for the 30 minutes we spend together, lol! Best esthetician eva!! read more

I found Miranda when I moved to Denver and have been a loyal client since. She is professional, kind, warm and quick! She's so great at making me feel comfortable and always works with me to get me in. Miranda always makes herself available to answer all of my question too which i always appreciate. She recently has hired a new employee, Bren who is just as amazing as she is. Bren was kind, professional and quick just like Miranda. Going to Miranda and Bren has been the best experience! I highly recommend them both! read more

Miranda is wonderful! Truly the sweetest person ever. She was extremely warm and welcoming. I told her about my allergies and sensitive skin. She informed me of the type of wax and oil used during the process. It was a completely painless experience. Cute studio. Located inside Flaunt Salon. Walk in and have a seat. Miranda greet you when it's your appointment time and bring you down to her studio. Easy to book online! Records are kept for each visit, after your 6th visit you get one free wax. read more

So I scheduled with Evelyn after getting a Groupon for her services, she was so friendly and kind and she really knows her stuff! After explaining my previous waxing experiences with her she assured me I was in good hands and she did not lie! As a previous trainer for the european wax center I could tell she was really knowledgeable and experienced in her field! She was fast accurate and my skin is still silky smooth weeks after our session. I had no problems with bumps or I grown hairs after . I highly recommend Evelyn ! read more

Do not pass - go to Evelyn at Denver Waxing. Quick. Painless. Literally the best Brazilian waxing experience I have ever had and I've had a lot. I could not recommend more. read more

They still haven't returned my email or voice message trying to make an appointment and answer questions.

I made an appointment online for a lip wax and it wasn't until I got there several days later that she told me I couldn't have the service I signed up for because of COVID. I asked her to update the website and she said she didn't want to take down the service. But she also didn't provide me with the service. So be very cautious on the website because it's not accurate and she has no desire to update it to reflect her current practice. Plus she won't call to let you know that. read more

Miranda is awesome! I have been going to her for my waxing needs for over 2 years. She makes the experience quick, painless, and as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend Denver Waxing Boutique if you are in need of a wax or eye lash extensions! read more

I have been using Miranda for over two years and she is so fantastic. Her Brazilians are easy and painless and I have been getting them for 10+ years so I know what a bad one feels like! Recently I used Bren who just joined Denver Waxing and she was just as great as Miranda. Both are fun to be around and 100% professional! read more

Great service, always on time, she makes you feel very comfortable, cheapest prices around, quick and painless- kind of! ;-)

Literally the BEST waxed in town. If you need any type of service Miranda is your girl. Also her candles are nothing but amazing. I've been using her for 3+ years and have tried other people. It's not worth the stress just book with her!! read more

Miranda is my FAVORITE! You cannot find better brows in Denver. Her studio is so cute and you can tell she really takes her time to perfect her craft. Plenty of street parking whenever I go and so easy to get to. read more

Discovered Miranda after moving here from FL and she is wonderful! She knows her stuff about skin and hair. I have super sensitive skin and an allergy and she was able to accommodate and make sure the services didn't have any negative effects! In fact she's the first aesthetician I've seen where I don't get bumps and ingrowns later. Give her a try if your looking for a good wax. If you've never waxed before go to Miranda, of all the people I've seen she's the best at making it as painless as possible. Seriously she rocks!!! read more

Just came from a great appointment with Miranda. - Easy location with street (metered) parking - Professional, easy conversation, she was genuine, friendly - Wax was thorough and almost pain free (calming jasmine oil was lovely) - Every 6th wax is free! - Miranda offered me a discount as a first time customer - In and out in 30 mins Overall, a great experience that was easy to book online (love that)! I'm definitely going to re-book with Miranda for my next wax 5 stars read more

Miranda is the BEST!! First Brazilian ever and Miranda was fantastic. Made me/us feel so comfortable and at ease. Great space, very private, great communication and service. Highly recommend. We will be back! read more

Scheduling was easy and fast via text, and the salon is centrally located on 23rd and Larimer. Miranda was very nice and approachable, which I appreciated, particularly since I was in for a brazilian, which can be intimidating. As other people have mentioned, the studio is in the basement of a salon, but it's attractively decorated and not cold (important when you have your pants off!). The wax itself was not awesome, though it was pretty quick -- and, let's face it, if the wax is above par, one can put up with some annoyance on the other aspects, so I'm disappointed here. The aforementioned brazilian was not super thorough and there was a lot of breakage, which meant stubble within a day. She did go back with tweezers, so I was surprised to get home and find lots of random stragglers at the margins, as it were. My arm wax left large patches completely missed, and I was pretty sticky afterwards. She used the now standard hard wax on the brazilian and soft wax with strips for the arms. Bottom line: still on the hunt for the best wax in Denver. read more

Preface: As a former client of the amazing Sarah D. LaShelle at Pretty Parlor in SF, I have VERY high standards when it comes to Brazilians. Miranda is extremely professional and equally skilled at what she does. She is thorough and efficient and does not sacrifice quality. Let's be honest, waxing down there is going to hurt but Miranda makes the process as pain free as possible. Additionally, Miranda makes herself available via text which I think is ultimate in customer service. I'd purchased a daily deal to another salon that I could have used since I already technically purchased it, but made the decision to return to Miranda because I knew she would provide a quality service. She's the best in the region and know that once you visit her, you'll visit her exclusively. (unless that is you enjoy being ripped to shreds for 40 minutes by amateurs, but really, to each their own) read more

I freakin' love Miranda at the Waxing Boutique. I can't believe no one has reviewed her. It's the most thorough, most painless, and most affordable bikini wax I've ever had. I won't go anywhere else. read more

I discovered Miranda and the Denver Waxing Boutique via LivingSocial. This is my first waxing experience in Denver (recently relocated from California). Since I loved my esthetician in Cali and I was wary about visiting a waxing salon on a whim (even one recommended by my trusty Yelpers!) Being on a student budget, I couldn't help but take advantage of the LivingSocial $25 Brazilian deal, and I am SO glad I did. The Denver Waxing boutique is located inside the Flaunt Salon. I overestimated how long it would take to get there from Golden and ended up being over a half-hour early. Upon entering, the receptionist greeted me and offered me something to drink. I was very impressed with the customer service and Miranda was no different. She managed to get me in early and was incredibly sweet and professional. The waxing service went by without a hitch and I am very happy with the results. I'm a Brazilian veteran (I was getting them once every 4-6 weeks in Cali), but I think it would be awesome if she gave her clients the option of getting a numbing cream prior to the service. If anything, it's a good option for first-timers. All-in-all, I'm so glad I found a good waxing boutique in Denver and I will DEFINITELY be coming back. Thanks Miranda! PRO TIP: Street parking is generally available, otherwise there is a $2/hr lots caddy corner to the salon (Larimer & Park). read more

I love Miranda. Maybe that's weird. But I love her. She's the only person I've ever gone to for a wax, and as long as I live in Denver, she's the only person I'll go to! She's really nice and sweet, and very accomodating. Due to an emergency, she had to reschedule my appointment and she gave me half off my service, which was so great. She is available via text, and checks in to make sure everything is going well after the service. Really, she is fantastic. Waxing is not pleasant, but Miranda makes it as pleasant as possible. She's cool, and is a normal person to talk to. She's not too chatty or too quiet, and she just seems like a real person. When she asks you things, it seems like she actually wants to know the answers. Miranda is a total sweetheart. She's efficient, professional, and kind. read more

I have been to Miranda a couple times and after this last time I won't be going anywhere else. She is super quick ( I was in and out in 30min with two services brazillian and leg wax) and with as painful as brazillians are...she makes it as painless as possible. She seems to be flexible and and her prices are definitely lower than the competition (wax in the city, studio urban wax) read more

Let me start that I am merely reviewing customer service, as I've never received the service I originally paid for. It started with a groupon that I purchased. I sounded good in the beginning, but the schedule at the time with esthetician wasn't working for neither of us. Unfortunately, I was late 10 minutes for my appointment and was treated with a complete indifference and wasn't offered much of customer service at the salon. Stylists and hostess seemed overwhelmed. Overall, not a good experience for me at all. I got the impression, they cared less about me, as I was a Groupon holder. I have news for you, I have been a resident of LoDo for the past decade and have an endless choice of top notch salons! ;-) read more

I love Miranda at the Denver Waxing Boutique. I started with her about 3 years ago when she was with Flaunt Salon. Then moved with her over to Voila and then she started her own business, great idea, too. The girl knows her stuff when it comes to skin care, waxing, and helping with sensitive skin after waxing. I have been waxing for over 10 years now, I've had 1 other good experience with my last "regular" but after a move from the DTC to the city, I needed something closer. I tried a Groupon for waxing. After this face wax, I had the worse rash and breakout I've ever experienced, painful, and I do not have acne prone skin. I had to get a (very) painful facial and exfoliation done to clear up the disaster. I went to Miranda the next time for waxing - she recognized the wax used - not good for faces or Brazilians... and used a different technique (after facial waxes I get zapped with a gun like thing - that's all I know) which helps prevent breakouts from the oils on my face with waxing. WOW it's the only thing that ever worked, and I looked great for my wedding. I won't leave Miranda again. I'm very picky - I've been through Groupons and Daily Deals, and somewhere near 15+ professionals in my waxing past, and still none as efficient and genuine as Miranda. (I've already referred a handful of friends who were deathly afraid of Brazilians, and now they're her regular clients) ** Looking forward to Miranda upgrading the bed, and using refreshed sheets along with towels. This would easily be a 6 out of 5 review then! Go see her..... Pros: Fast service, cost efficient, professional, genuine conversation, ambiance of salon, friendly and relaxing welcome with beverages, location, parking, her flexibility, text appointment convenience, last minute appointments for emergencies, morally good business practices, and knowledge of skin and waxing services Cons: On busy days, a few stray hairs I'll find when back home, and some wax to get off in the shower, the bed could feel more sturdy in salon with sheets instead of towels. ** Defense of the cons listed: I have not experienced a waxing professional, at both very high and low prices, who didn't leave a few stray hairs to pluck after, and I found wax in a few places after any service to wash off. I have experienced high quality spa beds with clean sheets and warming pads while getting services done, that felt excellent, but the waxing was terrible there. read more

I went here on a groupon. Scheduling was never easy or efficient, I guess mainly because as a new business owner she lacks the maturity to understand that quality / customer service is huge to a customer instead of her needs to overbook to make her income. I get it, everyone needs to make money..whatever, but I guess losing customers because of a not-up to par wax and a negative attitude isn't the way to do either. Definitely come here if you want an unnecessarily painful wax (because yes, I've had them before and this one hurt more and wasn't as thorough, her technique is off), an indifferent attitude, and to always get your appoints pushed back or never even make an appointment because of lack of availability. Needless to say, a pathetic experience. I highly recommend a communication class and an entrepreneurship class. read more

Miranda was awesome! She was quick, thorough, and pretty fun to talk to. When she found out I was referred by the reviewers on yelp, she looked into it and let me know that I got a discount - very nice of her! At the last minute I wanted to add an eyebrow wax and she had no problem with that and fit it right in. The prices were very affordable. read more

I started going to Miranda about 2 years ago - a last ditch effort after a string of bad, painful waxes. I am sensitive, I will admit, but I was striking out everywhere in Denver. A friend recommended I see Miranda, and I am SO glad I went before turning to my razor for the rest of my life. No, this is not a stand-alone wax botique. Who cares if the space is still comfortable and clean? I LOVE that I can schedule my appointments by text - I'm a busy professional, so this is one less thing I have to make a phone call about. Win. Miranda is professional, warm and welcoming, thorough and speedy! I had never had anyone come at me with tweasers for a brazilian, but love the results and her commmittment to making sure it is ALL gone, every time. Plus, her prices are better than anywhere else I've gone. Bonus. read more

Unfortunately, ,my experience is not with Henrys Salon but with denver wax ~with miranda. New customer and new client. I was given an apt time at 9:15 am the day after memorial day. They called to cancel and reschedual ,indicating miranda was ill and could not see me-I had taken time off of work...they were able to reschedualed for next day at 13:30.fine -more time off of work for me ,but I was ok with that and she came with good reviews. Seemed to be hard to get an apointment with her,so I accepted. As the place was foreign to me ,wanted to get there on time and unfamilar with downtown denver I called after parking nearby on broadway, given a brief description. .stated it was four blocks up from broadway....still didnt see signage. ..called back and I had walked to far,,pretty upset with self ,let them know I'd be late and be there...I was ten minutes late after walking not four blocks but eight blocks and then turning around ..went thru the back, ended up at the back door of salon ..in which case they asked who I was there to see..I indicated miranda. She quickly turned around and stated: that I would need to reschedual, apts are 45 minutes..seemed put off...hmmm,,she had another client. Well you should not have apt ,back to back as I am a new client ,may be late to a first time visit ,I had called was a little lost, and I had to reschedual my time because you were ill....only person here that was truly put off was me the customer ,with the lack of respect for my time and the attitude I recieved for it . Her web site indicated..to ask questions I emailed twice ,2 weeks before apt with no response, states personal attention, definitly not given that..she needs to review her web site and practice..customer service is key ...in any buisness. Im totally disappointed. read more

I have been going to Miranda for 3 years and have even followed her when she changed salons. She is very professional, does a thorough job on all waxing and makes her clients feel very comfortable. I highly recommend Miranda. I have had only one reschedule in the three years I've been going to Miranda. To the other review, using a map on your phone or looking it up before you left would have saved you a lot of headache. read more

Ok, so I finally found some time to sit down and tell my story. Denver Waxing either doesn't know how to run a business or is actively scamming their clients, looking for any way possible to take your money without providing any services in return. I had an appointment for waxing with Evelyn. It normally takes me 15 minutes or so to get there, but it was the day before Thanksgiving, and traffic was bad, so I doubled it and added another 5 minutes to be sure. About 10 min. into the drive and it was clear I was going to be cutting it close. Another 5 min and it was clear I am going to be a bit late. So, while still negotiating bumper-to-bumper traffic on I-70, I did my best to find their contact info. The first number I called was generic and directed me to some generic menu. The other went straight to voicemail. I was still driving so I gave up; plus, I thought, every self-respecting business usually makes a courtesy call before charging you a no-show fee because it would be awkward to charge someone a fee when they are stuck in traffic making their way to you or, worse, dealing with an emergency, like maybe being one of the people in the two ambulances passing me by on the highway. Needless to say, there is no courtesy call. When I asked them about this later, the owner said the "right number" was in the confirmation EMAIL I got when I made the appointment ... because everyone knows that what you want to do as you are driving down the highway is to ... check your email. The highway clearly needed more emergency lights the day before Thanksgiving (sarcasm, please don't do that). So I get there and check-in exactly 10 min late. I was not expecting much, but at least I made it. I still had technically 9 min on the appointment, so maybe she would let me reschedule or maybe the person after me was also running late, so maybe we could work something out. What I didn't expect is to get an automated text that I was marked a "no show" while I am sitting on the couch, IN THEIR LOBBY! Literally, Evelyn was downstairs, with no client (still ~7 min left on my appointment), marking me no show as I was waiting upstairs, 2 minutes after checking in and 42 min of driving in traffic, the day before Thanksgiving. Thanks! But it's not over. As I was driving back home - same traffic, just in the opposite direction - I got a notification from my credit card that I was charged $60 for the appointment. Here is the kicker: I already PAID for the service through GROUPON, so they double-charged me. This did not seem to trouble the owner much because, as she explained in a text to me, it is clearly stated on their website that they can do that! Because obviously, if you tell someone you are going to kick them in the shins and they are still standing there, it is ok to go ahead and kick them in the shins. It's all good. I went back to my national chain beauty salon who actually knows how to run a business. The last time something like this happened a few years back, they had the decency to call me and after I informed them that I was 5 min away stuck in traffic they (get this!) said: "Drive safe. Get here when you get here. We will work it out!" And so I did, and they fit me in with someone else. They still got my money, but they actually provided a service for it, and more than deserved the generous tip I gave to the person who so nicely fit me in last minute. read more

First off let me start by saying that I am a Brazilian waxing veteran and have been going to Miranda for over a year now. I first learned about Miranda from Living Social and have been coming back ever since! I've been other places in Denver but none of them compare. Miranda is awesome!!!!! So reasonably priced and the service is amazing!!!! I tell all of my friends to visit Miranda, in fact I took a friend here for her first wax ever and she said that she had a great experience. Miranda is fast but super thorough! She makes it super easy to get an appointment and is really flexible. I have found that texting is the easiest way to make an appointment. I have never had a bad experience with her in fact I recommend Denver Waxing Boutique to all of my friends and anyone who is looking for great service, reasonably priced, and thorough waxing!!!! read more

Miranda is the best! I have been going to her for my brows/brazilian for the past few years and she always does an amazing job. She really takes the time to shape my brows perfectly and always makes me feel super comfortable. She is always on time, her space is clean, her prices are reasonable, and she is just a wonderful person to be around. There isn't anyone else that I would go to for my waxing needs!! read more

The single star reviews for Miranda must be from ladies who are experiencing some PMS - I do not understand how anyone could review Miranda for less than 5 stars!! Not only was the service quick and very detailed, but she was also lovely to talk to and made me feel completely comfortable during the brazillian. Booking an appointment was a breeze as well, she can text you to schedule and had many available time slots and days. Oh and did I mention the Brazillian only costs $25?! 5 stars across the board! So happy to have found my new spot for waxing! :) read more

Miranda is wonderful! I first found her through the special she had on groupon. I had gotten a Brazilian many years before and it was awful-pain,bleeding,rash! Needless to say, I was very nervous when I arrived at my first appointment with Miranda. She immediately put me at ease with her spunky energy, and even offered me a complimentary glass of wine to help me relax. The method she uses seems much less painful than what I'd experienced in the past, and she is incredibly quick and efficient. We were chatting and the appointment flew by! The next day I had smooth flawless skin, and I've been back many times since, long after my groupon expired :) I recommend her to every girl I know! read more

Unfortunately, I was very unimpressed with the Brazilian wax from Miranda. She is very sweet and her space was cute, but the wax was not thorough at all. I purchased a Groupon after reading the mostly positive reviews, so I'm not sure why I didn't have that experience. It was the fastest wax I've ever gotten... Too fast. Like 10 minutes. She did not use tweezers at all afterwards to take care of any "stragglers, " which every other person has always done. When I got home, I saw that my bikini area still looked like it needed a wax! And the hair was not all gone like I requested. It only took a few days to see/feel regrowth. I've been getting Brazilian waxes for years and have never had this experience where it seemed as though the wax or service just didn't do much. It seemed sloppy and sadly I will continue to try and find a great Brazilian in Denver. read more

Miranda is AWESOME. I'd never gone under the wax before and now I'm hooked. Let's get real - waxing is an awkward thing. There's someone rooting around in your hoo-ha for 15 minutes and causing you pain DOWN THERE. Miranda made the whole thing go as smoothly (ha, smooth) as possible. Viola is a lovely salon, as well. I've never gone elsewhere, but I can't imagine why I would. This is THE BEST! read more

Miranda is the best at Brazilian waxes in Denver. I have been seeing her for over 5 years and it's always quick and painless. Thank you!!!
