We had a 40-minute drive to the airport with the windows down, breathing highway exhaust, and arrived sweaty and uncomfortable before a 15-hour multi-leg international flight. I contacted the owner a few days later to cancel our return reservation and why. She apologized and said his AC broke that same day. Someone's lying but it doesn't matter who or why. What matters is how the situation was handled. Had they contacted me even an hour beforehand, I could've either said "no AC, no problem" or arranged alternative transportation. Instead, we were stuck. Canceling the ride at that point would've delayed our arrival or worse, cause us to miss an international flight. I expected a professional car service for the price I paid, not an uncomfortable ride with fewer amenities than a typical ride share service.
