I've never hired a professional gutter cleaner before, but I've also never lived in a REEEEELY tall 2 story house before either. I found DGC via YELP and the reviews here are accurate. All of our business transactions were completed online, via email. I got a price quote, booked a date, received a reminder the day before and then an invoice the day after - - all online. I didn't speak with, meet or see these guys ever, once. But they sure are efficient! They cleaned my gutters after the recent cold snap. There was still snow on my roof the day they came out so I was surprised when a neighbor told me they saw people cleaning out my gutters that cold day. I did hear from the man who cleaned the gutters who explained why they stopped carrying off the debris. He said for a small fee they would take it away and that was (he pointed out) on the email they sent me to set everything up. I didn't see it - my fault. But next time they come they will take the debris and add the fee. They are going to have to take this spring debris as well as even with two neighbors helping we can't lift the bag to put into the garbage bin. But they did address my issue. I am still not giving 5 stars though. They should just take ALL the debris and charge the price it costs. I don't like the added fees. Too much like an airline. :-( read more

I called DGC and had a quote in about a week for cleaning. Within a week from that, my gutters were repaired, cleaned, and stuffed! I had the hardest time finding a company that cleans AND repairs, which I found strange, but, I'm thrilled I found these guys! My house was a fresh flip and gutters apparently weren't one of the things that gets much maintenance. Plus, my neighbor isn't one for tree care and my roof is hard to get to. NO PROBLEM!! I am very impressed with the response I have received from everyone at this company; I have never had to leave a voice mail. The bids requested were very timely and the correspondence was more than expected. Our communities need to bid jobs and DGC has done affordable and reliable work, and shown up when scheduled rather than pushing back dates. Showed up the day they said they would, did a great job, repaired some damage from me not doing it for 5 years. Super easy email communication and emailed PayPal invoice post-service. Can't think of how it could be easier on my end. On the debris-haul thing, he asked me where I wanted the bags so I had him put them right out on the curb next to where I put the bin since trash day was the next morning. My trash people are fine with getting out of the truck for overflow trash (which I frequently have), and the bags were fairly small, albeit heavy. Might be possible to request smaller bags/weights if that's an issue with your garbage company. read more

I hired DGC based off their other great Yelp reviews, and I wasn't disappointed. They were very responsive in setting up the appointment and helpful in advice on the timing (i.e, figuring out when to schedule it so that most of the leaves for the season would already be down). On the day of the service, they did a good job and left no trace of the muck they must have had to deal with in our gutters. On top of that, they cleared totally unrelated leaves off our front and back sidewalks, steps, and patio. All for a very reasonable price. I don't normally write many reviews but this company is noteworthy in my book. The gutters were cleaned and they also perform additional maintenance if needed. It seems not all gutter cleaning outfits do this which is fine if all you know you need is to have your gutters cleaned. They were very responsive to my communication and more importantly, they went above and beyond. Prior to buying my home, a previous owner had Dish and ran that cable via the gutter. Although it seemed fairly secure, immediately following the cleaning, we had a big red flag afternoon and well, out came the cable such that it was now dangling in front of the garage. In fact, it drooped so low that would interfer with pulling my rig in/out of the garage. I emailed them and they got a person to come back before eod to resecure the cable. I felt they could have easily said, sorry, and went on with their day but they didn't and it was greatly appreciated. This kind of service not only warranted the 5 stars but also this review. Like the previous reviewer, weather delayed our gutter install. The installers came out and started the job by taking our gutters off the house, but left it unfinished (no gutters during that first big snowstorm) for over two weeks. While weather was an issue for the beginning of the first week, the snow melted and someone could have easily come out earlier then they did. Ladders, equipment and materials were left in the yard. When I called DGC to ask when the job would be completed and to let them know that I was frustrated that it was taking so long, I felt brushed off and ignored when I got a generic email reply to my phone call. An exact date of install was never given to me. While our gutters were finally installed, I would not use this company again based on the level of communication they provided. I felt it was unprofessional and didn't at all feel valued as a customer. read more

Our house is on the market and our realtor convinced us to get new carpeting. The day it got installed was when there was a major monsoon rainstorm and our basement started leaking water--yikes! The next day some "hack" came in to asses the damage and he mentioned that the gutters may be need cleaning and that he'd trim trees and clean the gutters for $500. He said that "it was a good price". Yeah, right, for you buddy! I figured no way was I going to hire this guy (he'd already charged $200 to plug in a fan to dry out the carpet). So I went to TRUSTY YELP to find someone good. I found Denver Gutter Cleaning because it had great reviews. Well I had no hesitation in calling and in the end I had the same great experience that everyone else had. Promptness, professional work, price was right and it was easy to set up and pay; not one glitch. As I mentioned there was a big storm and our two hour old carpet was wet. With our house on the market and forecasts of more storms I was nervous of another incident. I contacted DGC on their website on Sunday even though I knew it was closed but I got a reply email that same day with a quote and he stated could come out any time weds - fri. I wrote back and mentioned to him that I'd prefer sooner rather than later because of the house-on-the-market/more-storms-forecast circumstance. The next day, Monday, he had an opening and asked if he could come and do the job that morning. Yahoo, I was relieved. He came out first thing and did a great job. The price was right. Not even near the quoted $500 from the other guy. Very nice, very knowledgeable and very professional. It was so refreshing to deal with someone who was professional. You rarely get that these days. The house was newly purchased and I didn't have a chance to clean the gutter before the cold front moved in, and water started dripping onto the front porch as soon as the snow started melting. If you are looking for a fast basic job this will be fine. Three guys showed up as scheduled. In under 30 mins they used leaf blowers to blast the leaves out of the gutter, off the lawn (along with a bunch of my mulch) and into the road (where I'm sure my neighbors and the city "appreciate" it.). However I hired them as a supposed step up from my usual guys as I was concerned about a downspout. They left without talking to me about it and sent me vague emails so that I'm doubting it was even addressed. Update: I wish this felt smoother from the start but Brian has now addressed my concerns. read more

The owner has an attitude as you as a customer bother him in trying to get a quote. If you are on vacation and primarily say on your website that you will reply immediately by email you need to respond! TWO emails and two phone calls and then get an argument. UPDATE: Brian refunded the amount over the original quote, and made every attempt to remedy the situation. There was clearly miscommunication in the transaction, which I attribute equally to both Brian and I. I am increasing my review to 4 stars for his commitment to customer service. I had a terrible experience with Brian the owner. I chose him based on his high yelp reviews, but the experience was one star at best. Beware: This guy's M.O. is to give you a cheap quote, and then jack the price up once he's done. I asked him why the invoice was 50% higher than the quote and his answer was that there was more debris in the gutters than he expected. I'm sorry; I thought the point of me hiring him was to take debris out of the gutter. If you do use him (not recommended) I'd make sure you have a clear picture for what extras he's going to hit you with later. As if the low quote and high invoice wasn't bad enough, Brian is rude and borderline abusive to work with if you have any questions. Worst of all, we recently had a storm and I still have a gutter that's not draining. I'm really not sure what I paid this guy for. Emailed for a quote and received a reply on the same day. I was not around when they came to clean my gutters but I did Felton the roof when I got home from work and the gutters were spotless. This was my first gutter cleaning so not sure how the pricing compares as I didn't get other quotes, however the price didn't make me flinch so that is a good sign. 6 months after Denver Gutter Cleaning cleaned our gutters a huge fire broke out less than 100 yards from our home (we are in the foothills). (The fire was covered live on Denver 7 for nearly 2 hours.) If Denver Gutter Cleaning had not cleaned our gutters last summer, we wouldn't have a home today.
