It seemed like I could maybe eventually learn tango? This was different... Gabriela gave the beginner class some great fundamentals on how to stand and breathe and move, then drilled the basic steps in a way that I actually could completely remember them (that's unusual for me), then had us practice a ton with different people -- great turnout and gender balance too. I stayed on for the intermediate level class because it was actually repeatable and memorable. This woman is incredible: running to greet each person individually at the door with warmth, DJing great varied music, giving simple understandable & memorable coaching, speaking loudly and audibly over the music in an awesome accent, demonstrating with her back to us to avoid left-right mixups, and putting people on the spot with coaching in front of everyone, but everyone gets it. Love the studio's size: it has mirrors and couches and authentic tango posters. It got a little warm, but the open door let in cold night air, which I prefer over A.C. The men do tend to wear dress shirts. $15 for 4+ hours of as much learning & practice & music as you have the stamina for.

We went through security in less than a few minutes. We also purchased beverages that were quick to get (bar efficiency ). The auditorium had a great atmosphere and offered different sections for different prices. The general admission worked just fine for us!

I went here with my sister for the Jesse McCartney show! I was so excited that he was coming to Denver and I've never been to this auditorium. When you first walk in, it's just big and open like a dance floor. They do have a small food concession stand, but it's your basic concession food. They do have an upstairs with seating with tables, but you have to pay for that specific ticket. The rest is standing room only so like you're standing on the dance floor the whole time if you want to sit, I would definitely suggest purchasing a table. It is at one of the smaller venues, but I do like the open concept where there was plenty of space and all the angles were a good view. I would definitely go back to this auditorium. If another artist I liked was performing there.

We were super excited about the show. We've always watched him on tv. Now let me say I was a lil disappointed in the snack choices; so popcorn was the choice. I live Reese pieces , water and pineapple juice. I don't drink so the alcohol was where it was. The staff was very attentive and trying to fill every order. There were so many people and they were doing their thing. The lines were long but moving quickly. I haven't been in the theater since 2008. So I did not like the seats an how close they were. I felt cramped and crowded.. The restroom was clean and the theater itself was neatly decorated and clean too. The first comedian that opened up was amazingly talented and great!!! He was funny and a principal.. I really enjoyed his and could see him again. He had the crowd cheering and laughing uncontrollably.. support this brother whenever you see him. He's worth the time. The dJ was fire he had the crowd amped up. He was dropping hit after hit getting us prepared for the show. When Ali came to the stage they erupted into applause and cheers. His mannerisms and demeanor were just characteristic and down to earth. He was funny and my side was hurting from all the laughing. We paid for the meet and greet and the line was long but worth the wait. He was so cool in person and love his fans. I would love to come and see him again.

CNS offers free intro to Salsa and Bachata lessons. Yes, that's right. I said FREE! The classes run on a 10 week program. Each week builds off of one another so it is important that you take classes from the beginning if you are a beginner. Classes for each style are offered twice a week. Salsa is on Tuesdays at 6pm and Thursdays at 7pm. While, Bachata is on Tuesdays at 8:30pm and Fridays at 8pm. It is not necessary to attend both classes every week because they cover the same thing but it is offered so you can get some extra practice in. I would recommend going to their website to make sure you are starting at the beginning of the 10 week program so you don't get lost :) I have only just begun taking lessons and love it so far. I have also gone along with friends who dance Salsa and Bachata regularly (some competitively) and they only have positive things to say about it. It is great for dancers of all levels to go to hone and refresh your skills. On top of the free classes, they charge packages for higher level dancers. More information about that is available on their website. The instructors are very skilled, attentive, and give individualized attention to everyone even in large classes! If they see common mistakes among their pupils, they are quick to correct it which I find extremely important. They are also bilingual and are willing to instruct the class in both languages if there are any language barriers. I highly recommend these classes for anyone interested in learning Salsa or Bachata - or even if you want to get some extra practice in without the awkwardness or pressure of social dancing!
