I went with a different place at first because it was closer to where we were living. Well, that turned out to be a mistake. I ended up having a bad experience there and finally switched to S&L. Dr. Ngo and his team fixed everything the other dentist had messed up. Right away I knew my wife had been right all along. I've been going to S&L for four years now and they really are the best dental office I've ever been to. Dr. Ngo has removed all my old metal fillings and replaced them with modern ones, plus he's done a couple of crowns for me. Everything looks and feels great. My wife has also been extremely happy with all the work he's done for her too. I'm almost 55 and I've seen a bunch of top-rated, highly recommended dentists over the years, both here in the US and a couple in Mexico. Nothing else comes close. One thing I have to mention is how good Dr. Ngo is with people who hate dental visits or get nervous about pain. His work is excellent, but it's the way he takes care of you that makes the biggest difference. For example, the way he does Novocaine shots is unbelievable. You barely feel it at all. Every dentist out there should learn his technique. With all that said, I do think the front office experience could be better. If the customer service up front matched Dr. David's clearly caring vibe, it would be 100% perfect. If you're looking for a truly professional dentist who gives five-star care and service, this is the place. Dr. David Ngo at S&L is the only one I would recommend without any hesitation.

He is knowledgeable and professional and always takes time to check in, even during routine cleanings. I usually don't wait more than 5 minutes for my appointments. There have been times where I needed immediate dental care and they are able to work with you to fit you in as quickly as possible. I have recommended him to many people throughout the last 8 years! At a previous dental office in Miami I had a terrible experience that started with a routine cleaning that turned into a root canal 6 hours later and left me with significant anxiety with all things dental related. I found out a few years later after moving to Arizona that the root canal was not performed correctly and I had to get it re-done. Dr. Ngo is incredible at calming nerves and making you feel safe when in uncomfortable situations, especially with anxiety. He talks through every step in advance and during the procedures, so that there are no surprises. He takes extra time when numbing the mouth so that the pain is tolerable and at times barely noticeable. I really appreciate this and feel like it's rare to find. I highly recommend Dr. Ngo and S&L Dental for all your dental needs.

When I got there the front desk was very welcoming. The dentists assistant came to get me and she immediately made me feel less anxious by explaining everything to me and reassuring me it will be super easy... not to mention she was super sweet. We have experienced poor customer service, incorrect billing expenses, and most recently malpractice. Dr. Christensen, performed a regular check up on my father during the first week of October. He addressed some pain that my father had on one of his back molars. Dr. Christensen poorly diagnosed my father's symptoms where it resulted in giving him a severe infection and caused my father to urgently see a Endodontics Specialist. The Endodontics Specialist confirmed that he had a severe infection and treated him right away before matters got worse. My father also mentioned that during his visit with Dr. Christensen he also failed to cover my Dad's Chest with the proper equipment before giving him an X-ray. This malpractice is extremely unprofessional and worrisome being how harmful X-rays can be without the proper protection. I pray to God that my father's awful experience and treatment gets under control. I would not recommend anyone to step a foot in that office unless you're ready to experience the same type of treatment and malpractice. If this issue is not resolved right away with securing my father's health, I will personally seek professional advise from my family lawyer. This type of disappointing malpractice should be addressed immediately and should never occur to anyone, especially when it comes to treating someone's personal hygiene and health.
