Urgent care couldn't see her due to the severity of the cut. An ex coworker of mine was able to phone Dr Rivets office and they were able to get her in 20 minutes later. After lots of researching I decided to make an appointment with Dr. Flugstad. I had my consultation with Dr. Flugstad last year in April. The day of my consultation I was a bit nervous and excited. I was prepared with my question list. The consultation went better than I expected. As soon as I met Dr. Flugstad and his assistant Michelle, I felt at ease. I felt very comfortable and excited. Months after I booked my surgery appointment. During the time before the surgery I always had lots more questions and concerns and all the time Dr. Flugstad and his assistant answered all my questions. I felt bad for emailing them all the time but was very happy with their patience and that they were answering all my questions in a timely manner. All of Dr. Flugstad's staff that I've come across with have been very friendly and polite. The day of my surgery my husband was my ride/nurse. Dr. Flugstad's staff was ready for me and provided my husband with lots of information and made him feel comfortable while he waited for me. Before I went to sleep his staff and I had a great conversation with lots of laughs. While recovering at home Dr. Flugstad checked in with us often, we were reassured that if we had any questions or concerns not to hesitate to call. Everything went well with my surgery and I've been very happy with my results. I recently had an appointment to see how I was doing and we were both pleased with my recovery. I would give this place a 0 if I could. Botched a breast reduction. My boobs look like Dr. Frankenstein did my surgery. My right breast has an indent on the outside. I have terrible scars and will not get dressed or undressed in front of my husband. The scars that run around the sides are raised and it looks like I have little nipples at the end of the scars. My right nipple is not even round! It looks like a capital D backwards! The scars under each breast are the size of a 50 cent piece and a completely different color than the rest of my skin and I have absolutely no feeling on any part of my breasts. I cannot wear regular bras because my right breast is much smaller and not as full as my left breast. So so so so so pissed and embarrassed! Might as well as have done a complete mastectomy instead of what Dr. Rivet did. I look like a freak! read more

I came to Dr. Flugstad with a good amount of work that needed to be done. I had lost so much weight that I literally needed to be carved out of myself. Very frustrating experience. Went to Dr. Flugstad for a breast reduction consultation and explained that I really would prefer financially to try to get it covered by my insurance. I brought all the medical letters I had gathered with me to my appointment and his assistant told me she could get the process started and get that to my insurance that day. I explained I might have one more letter coming from another doctor and was told that was fine, she would send what I had over to insurance and I could always send anything else over later. That was at the beginning of November and it's now the end of the month. I was wondering why I'd never heard back one way or another especially when I'd communicated the urgency of my timeline (I only have a couple down months from my physically demanding job) so I called my insurance today and come to find out Dr. Flugstad's office never submitted ANYTHING for me. This is seriously frustrating. I put my trust in them, paid them for their time and got nothing in return. Also, I should mention I have since then seen 2 other surgeons for consults just to make sure I would make the right decision in regards to whom I trust to perform this procedure. Dr. Flugstad said he could comfortably reduce my chest to a small B whereas the other 2 surgeons have estimated a small D maybe full C. Also, I had asked Dr. Flugstad if he believed I would require lipo on my sides with the reduction (like I've heard is common). He said he forgot to mention it but it would probably be a good idea and it wasn't much more, really quick but not covered by insurance. His assistant then handed me an estimate for almost $6,000! And that's just for the "quick lipo". I then saw another PS for a consult and she doesn't charge for lipo if she believes it's necessary. She was very careful in measuring with my original brows so that my new brows would be properly placed and the same on both sides. And she made sure to consult with me as to placement and color as the procedure progressed. The pain was minimal. Four weeks following the first appointment, I went back for the second appointment, when more strokes were added and the shape finalized. I have to say that I absolutely LOVE my new brows! I saw Dr. Flugstad to correct a problem I was having with a breast implant as a result of a mastectomy. He performed a fat graft from my abdomen to one breast, and removed an implant from the other breast. I'm very happy with the results and it's only been two weeks out from surgery. I'm still a little swollen but can tell the symmetry is much better than prior to the surgery and the areas I was concerned with have been corrected. I started my fitness and health journey in October of 2013 and by July 2015 I had gone from a size 22/24 to a size 8 and was 120+ lbs lighter. I continued to workout and gain muscle and lose fat but the loose skin around my abdomen and on my arms started the bother me and become a hindrance at the gym and when I went running so I decided to look for a surgeon who could fix this issue. I found Dr. Flugstad through a regular google search of surgeons who perform skin removal after weight loss surgery and am so glad I did. I had the surgery to remove the loose skin on my abdomen and arms in November 2017 and have thought it was the best thing I could have done. While the first few weeks of recovery were difficult, which any surgery really is, the results have been amazing. I have gone down another pant size, my clothes fit so much better and the greatest result has been how I feel in the gym. Running feels so much more fluid now without feeling the skin on my abdomen bounce, and strength training is some much better as well without having to feel the arm skin going the opposite direction that my arms are going. If you're thinking about having this kind of surgery I can't recommend a better doctor to perform it for you. Before surgery and after Dr. Flugstad was great and available via e-mail or phone/text when I had questions. He called me during the first week of recovery to check and make sure everything was ok and I felt that he really cared about my well being. BE WARNED!! I made an appointment with Dr. Flugstad a couple weeks ago to talk about correcting a prior rhinoplasty. Since I was going to be there anyway, I also asked to discuss options for freshening up my look. My appointment time was 10:00 and the doctor didn't come into my room until 10:45. Not a good first impression at all! I asked the doctor what I could do about correcting the alignment of my nose. He told me he didn't do corrective surgery on prior nose surgeries. I wasn't happy at all considering that was the whole reason for scheduling my appointment. He told me he would refer me to the other doctor in the practice and they would waive the $75 consultation fee. I agreed to do that. I then asked the doctor about options for my face. Unfortunately, I didn't have a lot of time because I had already spent over an hour at their office. He did provide me with options, but I was not happy because the reason for my appointment was to correct my nose. At the beginning of this week, I called to make an appointment with Dr. Leff to consult about my nose. I was told he didn't do that type of surgery either. What?! I asked when I could expect my $75 fee back since they were unable to perform the correction I asked for. I was told they would not be refunding my money. Not happy! They took my money under false pretense! Look somewhere else for a reputable doctor. I should have done more research. This was a very bad experience all around!!!!! read more
