My first appt with Dr. Moammar went well, he was easy to talk to, explained what he would do and why, wrapped several things into one price and I was sold. We didn't discuss how many units of each product he would inject, but since it was rolled in one price it didn't matter. On the day of my procedure he told me about the 'triangle of beauty" which is pretty much is your cheekbones and chin. Since my own cheekbones are good, he suggested to inject Radiesse into my chin to enhance it, to "complete the triangle". After my procedure I kept noticing ugly dents in my chin, when I was smiling or talking the dents were even more visible and everyone was noticing. Also, one side of my chin looked heavier, still does, I guess that's where he injected more, so the overall front looks lopsided. I texted MD Legacy my photos and Dr. Moammar said it was an easy fix so I scheduled another visit. On the day of my appt he was 30 min late which was fine it happens, but when I was finally in the room discussing my concerns he told me he was late for his next appt and that we needed to hurry. He had to rush for his next client because there was new money still to be made and my problems were just nuisance to him. Anyway. He said to fix it he was going to add the hyaluronic acid filler to soften up my chin contours, to make dents disappear. But before he started he said 'I will give you a good deal on the price for the filler...' to which I responded that I wasn't the one who deformed my chin so I won't be the one paying to fix it. He responded 'ok, ok, I will take a hit for you on this one...' it was extremely uncomfortable, it's his job to fix his own damage at all costs, not to make deals. Then Dr. Moammar said 'well, at least now we know that Radiesse is not good on chins'. Wait a second, 'now we know?' I've never asked how many chins he had injected with Radiesse, but I assumed a ton since he so confidently offered to do it on me. Radiesse is as hard as the cement, so I was sure he knew what he was doing. After 4-6 months my chin was still dented, lopsided, I've learned not to smile much to hide dents. I had to train myself how to speak in front of the mirror to not attract attention to my chin. Every time I look at myself in the mirror all I can think is "MD Legacy". I learned one thing, either Radiesse doesn't belong in chins or it needs to be injected by someone who knows what they are doing, a real pro. If that's not bad enough, I still have a bulge puckering on my forehead. Not only threads did no brow lift at all, they added a bulge. That's another thing that Dr. Moammar told me he does a lot, a browlift, because I asked, I always do. The forehead requires great skills as it's flat surface. When I think about this whole thing, I should've just insisted on Botox in the jawline like I had originally wanted and gone home golden. But Dr. Moammar's the 'triangle of beauty' story and the necessity of the Radiesse made me go for it. He could've used a more fluid filler like Juvederm, but that would've meant 3-4 syringes and since he had already given me one price for all, it would've been not cost effective to him. UPDATE: It is March, 2022 and my chin is still disgusting. I texted my photos to MD Legacy and received response from Whitney, their new office manager, who said "I would love to help you in any way". I responded that the only help I need right now is a refund so I could fix it with sometime who knows how. She disappeared like they all did once saw a word 'refund'. How does a doctor look at himself in the mirror knowing that he disfigured someone's face? How do they just go on with their life. I hope my review will help people in the future to decide what not to do. Had I read a similar review before my own procedure, I would've done so many things differently.

Saw a new doctor and spent $150 for clearance letter and labs. Good thing I found this new doctor because those same labs I paid $550 for would only have cost me $75 at this office (paying the doctor and having it billed to them) - with THE SAME LAB COMPANY! Wasn't until I got home, did I realize he did not treat it. So, I ended up setting another appointment with another dermatologist as the spot was biopsied to be Basil Cell Cancer. Remember, this is why I was referred to his office! How in the world could he miss it??? It gets even better............ He missed another spot on my forearm that was also biopsied, and it turned out to be Squamous Cell Cancer. Ended up seeing a third Dermatologist who performed MOHL's Surgery to remove the growth he completely missed. Believe it or not, if that isn't enough to stay away...... He was not in my network so instead of paying my normal deductible, he charged me full price as my insurance does not cover out of network physicians. For some years now, I've been looking to reduce the "signs of aging" and dial back a few years on…read moremy neck and lower face. My neck was sagging, slight jowling, and wrinkle bands etching on the skin around the front of my neck. Too much sun!! I kept the neckbands at bay for a few years with botox injections. My face is in good shape, round cheeks, not a lot of deflation. I wasn't in a hurry, so over the past 4 years, I spoke to 3 different surgeons. A few talked about a face lift... but my face wasn't showing the age like my neck and the jowl area. One day, I looked on the RealSelf website and came across a photo of a patient of Dr. Kasden who had done exactly what I was looking for, a clean defined neck and better definition around the jawline. I made an appointment with Dr. Kasden and took the photo of his patient I found on the website with me. 1. Consultation. I showed Dr. Kasden the photo of his patient and explaining that is what I want done as well... a necklift and a little cleaning up around the jawline. He went into detail about the steps in the procedure to get that outcome, drawing a diagram of the side of a head and showed where the incisions would be made, the nipping, tucking and stitching. He was direct in telling me the area around the incisions would be numb for a while the nerves reconnected.  Pricing on the procedure was very reasonable.  2. Procedure. I chose to have the procedure in the office, meaning no general anesthesia and being fully awake. Understand that Dr. Kasden must have gotten straight A's in chemistry because the man is a genius when it comes to "mixing the right cocktail of medications" to bring you to a twilight state and keep you pain free during the procedure. I have no memory of the procedure even though I was awake. What I did have were sensations - pulling and pressure - but no pain. 3. Post-procedure. Now you would think that after a procedure where a quarter of the side of your face (including the back half of your ear) has been severed/unattached from your head you would have pain during the recovery. The pain that I did experience was mild and lasted 36 hours. On the top part on the back of my ear where the stitches were, about a day before the stitches were to be removed, it hurt where my glasses sat on my ear. As soon as the stitches were removed, the pain went away.  4. Staff and Nurse who assists with procedures.  Top notch, responsive, personable, sharp. Totally in tune with patients and Dr. Kasden. The team works together seamlessly. I am 7 months post procedure. WOW, my jawline is beautiful, no little jowls now!! I do look 15 years younger!

I was in surgery for almost 8 hours! I have a huge burn looking scar on my cheek. One side of my neck hangs down and behind both ears really bad burn looking scars! And there is a small nick on my face that wasn't there before surgery. He shrugged it off like sometimes complications happen. And, even charged me for a couple of laser treatments afterwards! I have had multiple lazar and other procedures done to improve the terrible scars ON MY FACE without much success. Plus is bedside innuendo's always made me uncomfortable. When I asked about the "permanent scaring" on freezing a spot on my lip line, her response was "I've already told you 2 times," looked at her nurse and told her nurse to "explain" and walked out of the room onto the next patient (dismissing me)!! I've never been treated like that before, so I was pretty much in shock. If you are looking for a Dr that's going to spend time on your concerns, takes the time to read your history of current medicines (her office prescribed), and your previous cancer history (that was done at her practice) this IS NOT THE DR FOR YOU. I have seen Dr. Newton for over 20 years, and he's no longer in her practice. I went to her today (because my records are still there). I've seen her one other time, and was not impressed then as well. On a positive note: There also must have been a complete change at the practice recently, and I had no problem with this (amazing and kind staff, nurses and front desk).
