My very honest review of my experience. I believe dr. Friedman is a master of his craft but ultimately I was disappointed with how he handled me. I came in about a month ago wanting lipo on my belly and sides. I told Dr. Friedman my story up until then, that over the last year and a half I had dropped from close to 40% body fat to 28, but I just wanted a more targeted fat reduction on my belly. The doctor told me that, while he was willing to do the procedure, he advised against it as it wouldn't get me to my ultimate goal, immediately instead he started to pitch me GLP-1s. I know many people have seen success with GLP-1s, including family, but I tried to explain to the doctor that I didn't think GLP-1s were the miracle I needed. GLP-1s work by mimicking the body's hormones that signal satiation. They are very strong appetite suppressants and I referred to them as such. GLP-1s also take a year to be effective, cost upwards of $130 a month, and research shows that the body doesn't just loose fat, but lean a lot of mass is also lost in the process and as a man, this was something I wanted to avoid. After people stop talking the peptide, 2/3rds of people regain the weight because they have not learned to control themselves without it. I also didn't feel like I needed it because I had been slowly loosing my body fat over the previous year anyway. The doctor tried to convince me that GLP-1s don't just hold off cravings, that they help boost metabolism too, when I asked him to explain how he just fumbled his words around. I came in knowing the doctor couldn't remove all the fat from me, but I did just want a targeted fat lost on my belly. I don't think the doctor was incompetent in anyway or directly benefits from people getting Ozempic. I think he's just very selective for who he chooses to preform procedures on, taking in clients he's 100% sure he can do top results with, and pitches Ozempic to people he can't work with as a means of compensating for their time. read more

Ronald M. Friedman, MD, PA - Chin Lipo Results - Plastic Surgeons Near Me - Plano, Texas

Great kind professional ...very smart person. Highly recommended good advice and cares. Good office staff GOOD RESULTS

- Office was very responsive, I received an email and a phone call in response (I used their website to contact the office) - They actually had a cancellation and called to let me know, so I was able to be seen very shortly after first contact - Office staff was very friendly and helpful (and PATIENT- I had issues with my card being expired, but they were very kind and nobody rushed or judged me while I sorted out my banking issue) - They let me peruse a binder with labeled photos of previous work, found this very helpful and comforting - The wait to be called back was extremely brief, and once in the room, the wait to be seen was brief as well- during that time, numbing cream was applied so the wait was just to allow that to work - Dr. Friedman does the consult and the work himself- I swear my own GP doesn't even do that - He answered all of my questions, was honest and informative and didn't try to upsell anything - Pain was minimal - Prices were very reasonable - It hasn't been 24hrs yet, so I don't want to comment too much on my results, but my initial reaction is that I'm very pleased with the work done Overall a fantastic experience, I'd definitely recommend coming here for filler instead of going to an inexperienced med spa for injections read more

My wife recently had breast augmentation surgery performed by Dr. Friedman. He was very thorough and patient when explaining the details of the surgery. Regardless, we were both nervous, but the results have been great, and my wife couldn't be happier. Thanks doc! read more

I went to Dr. Friedman for a procedure and had a great experience from beginning to end. He took the time the explain the procedure prior in full detail and also had a great sense of humor during the process. In my opinion, I found his bedside manner to be my favorite part, along with the friendly office staff. Best know that if you don't properly adhere to your post operative procedures he will chase your a** down! Dr. Friedman takes pride in his work and final results and his his reputation precedes him. I will go back for more things!! read more

I highly recommend Dr Friedman, Jin and the entire office running this wonderful clinic. Both the consultation and the pre-op meetings were highly organized, clear and thorough, and everyone in the office was patient and attentive to answer all questions! My husband went to the pre-op meeting with me. Even though he already knew how very talented and dedicated Dr Friedman is, my husband was even more impressed by how thoughtful, skilled and meticulous Dr Friedman is with the surgery itself. I felt calm and confident the morning before the surgery, and Jin was so supportive and thoughtful to guide me throughout the process. Thanks so much for taking care of me, Jin!! Because of Dr Friedman's method, I had no bruising and little swelling after the surgery. I'm also pain free by the 8th day! And of course, I'm very very happy with the procedure and result. My husband especially so haha We highly recommend! Wholeheartedly! read more

I have been coming to Dr. Friedman for Botox for awhile now. Before I go on... I want to say... he does all his injections. He does not use Astheticians. He is a plastic surgeon and it puts me at ease knowing he knows the anatomy of the innervation of my face. He does the right amount where my face does not look frozen and his touch ups are right on. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They make you feel like old friends. The office is clean and stylish. I have recommended him to tons of friends and family. They have been happy with their results including their surgical results. Overall I'm 110% satisfied! read more

Dr Friedman, Jin, Sparkle, Kimmy, Luisa, and ...oh heck everyone there is just amazing. I had two procedures and am so pleased with my results. I wish I had done it sooner! That is my only regret. Kindness, caring and skill were my deciding factors choosing Dr. Friedman. I had quotes 13 years prior but life happened. When I decided to go thru with my plans after seeing a close friends results from him, I know it was time for me as well. We are both so thrilled with our results! Life changing as I have never looked so good. Dr. Friedman takes his time during surgery and they will tell you so. That's what a good surgeon does. I have gotten such positive feedback from friends and gentleman. My social life has changed! I am more confidant and feel so sexy. I went from a size 10/12 to a 2/4 on the first procedure. I also was motivated to lose weight. My second I gained up top and got a lift. I smile everyday when I look into my mirror. Seriously, wish I had done it sooner. Take it from me, if I could tell my younger self I would say you cannot not do this. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, Dr Friedman! read more

This was the first time I was getting plastic surgery and nervous. I did a lot of research beforehand and spoke to many doctors I never had one that was as thorough and detailed as Dr. Friedman. He and his entire staff made me feel so comfortable, responded to my questions immediately, always called me back promptly and made the entire process as simple as possible. I am actually more pleased than I thought I could be with the results of my surgery. Thanks again to Dr. Freeman and his whole staff for helping boost my confidence and taking care of me throughout the whole process. They impressed me so much I actually asked for all of their name so I could share with you! Dr. Friedman & his awesome staff were SO Wonderful & Patient with me!!!!!! Being that this was my first-ever surgery, they took time to carefully explain exactly what I would expect both before & after the surgery. After having 2 friends recommend Dr. Friedman, I contacted his office in May 2018 when I found out my 18-year old silicone breast implants were leaking. My first consultation was professional and detailed. I appreciated the time he took to look at my breast MRI results that allowed him to reassure me that the silicone with contained within the scar capsule. To feel like I was being an informed consumer, I went to another consultation with another doctor, for comparison. That consultation was very casual, the doctor didn't look at my breast MRI results, and it took place in a room that looked like an office, not an exam room. I knew then I was scheduling my surgery with Dr. Friedman. I was very concerned about the redo because I liked what I had and wasn't ready to get a redo. He assured me he would get my new results as close to what I had before, but also spoke realistically about what he could and could not do (implants have changed in the last 18 years!). The day of surgery when we talked before the surgery I felt like I was in good hands, and that he would take care of the silicone leakage and give me good results. At my post op appointment he reviewed the surgery with me and showed me before/after photos for comparison, and the photos he took during surgery of everything from my breasts without implants, the silicone issue, and the growths he biopsied and sent in to a lab to ensure they aren't cancerous (even though I had a breast MRI to screen for cancer, the growths were the size of pen head and weren't picked up by the MRI). I'm a week post op and I can say that I'm thrilled with the results! Honestly they look even better than they did before (he fixed some asymmetry that I had previously). I'm thrilled with my results. The only thing I'm upset about is that he will probably be retired by the time I need a redo in 12-14 years. read more

He is matter of fact and knows his stuff. His staff..amazing! After much research, I decided to make a consultation appointment with Dr. Friedman. During the consultation, I decided right then that he would be the one to do my surgery. I was impressed by his concern for my health as his patient first and foremost, and then by what he could do for me surgically. I think he is a perfectionist but he is also honest and explained what he could realistically achieve with my procedure. I appreciated his honesty. He explained everything and patiently answered my questions and that secured my trust that he was right Dr to do my procedure. He also only uses board certified anesthesiologists which further confirmed I was making the best choice. The surgery went well. My anesthesiologist was Dr. Ata and she was great. I decided to spend the night after my surgery,( best decision ever ), and my night nurse, Amy was so sweet. I felt like I was in very capable hands during the whole process. Everyone in the office is so nice and helpful. Jin has been wonderful to work with. Every email or phone call has been promptly returned! Healing will take many months but so far, I have been very pleased with the whole experience. read more

I went to Dr. Friedman for some face fillers . He spent the time to go over everything with me and gave me a chance to ask questions . I carefully reseached plastic surgeons prior to having a tummy tuck and breast augmentation. I appreciated Dr. Friedman's impressive creditials, and the gallery photos of his work. He is also an accomplished artist which is a huge plus in cosmetic surgery. I am so happy with my results! I have a figure like an hour glass for the first time in my life. Dr. Friedman is an excellent surgeon, but also a very nice person to deal with. Answers all questions (I had to call him about 10:00 one night with a concern, and he was wonderful. Encouraged me to always call, anytime, with any concerns). His staff was wonderful to deal with, always so helpful. His facility is fantastic. I felt very well taken care of. read more

I didn't actually go through with a surgery from Dr. Friedman because I was so turned off by him at the consult. His work looks great, but I felt so uncomfortable with him I decided to go with another doctor. He made some jokes that I felt were inappropriate, saying that my having surgery (breast implants) would help me get a job (I just moved to the area and I'm a nurse). He also pointed out my preexisting imperfections that would not likely be corrected by the surgery, saying that he wanted me to be aware of them so I don't "come back to bug him" after surgery. Yikes! Don't worry, I'll never come back again, to bug you or otherwise! Just bummed that I spent $75 to meet him, what a waste. read more

Dr. Friedman and his staff are fantastic! They provided excellent care and attention to detail with the immediate surgery that I required. They also follow up to ensure you're feeling well and if there are any further questions/concerns.
