I'm not sure if the lipo I got was technically chin lipo. It was chin and neck lipo - the entire jawline is hit making it even more of a value. This means there were three incisions: both sides of the top of the jaw by the ear and one under the chin. I'm a baby and handled the local anesthesia. It felt like going to the dentist and getting lidocaine when the tumescent solution was injected. Keep in mind, I was high when this happened as I had hydrocodone and Xanax - all monitored by the doctor. I'm assuming this is the more cost effective form of sedation. In this economy, ya gotta do what ya gotta do. I've had Kybella before (what a waste) at a separate medspa and I think the burning of that was way worse than the few seconds of injection pain required for local anesthesia. Once the procedure was started by Dr. Obasi, the entire procedure took less than five minutes. Again, the bulk of the time required is from waiting for your meds to kick in and then waiting again for your local anesthesia to kick in. I think general anesthesia is a bit riskier given the procedure is only five minutes... Results: Even with swelling and bruising, my jawline is now certified snatched. No more double chin. The price I paid was in line with the price I would have paid in Turkey, so it was definitely worth it.

However, within a week, I developed large, red, and warm welts, 2-3 inches wide. When I contacted the office, they told me they didn't know what it was--maybe a reaction to my skin stretching or breakouts. As the condition worsened, they continued to express uncertainty and advised me to see my regular doctor. At the time, I was young and unaware of what a staph infection was. Unfortunately, that's what I had, and it became a 10-year battle. The infection spread to my neck, face, back, arms, and legs. I never mentioned this in reviews, as I was focused on dealing with the issue and didn't want to add more negativity. Looking back, I regret not warning others. Staph infections are isolating--I often couldn't leave the house. Because the infection was not treated promptly, it became extremely difficult to manage. I was put on multiple antibiotics over the years and had to use special washes and make countless doctor visits. Just when it seemed under control, it would flare up again, often appearing on my breasts. Mistakes happen, but as a surgeon, recognizing infection is critical. The large welts I had post-surgery should have been treated as a possible infection, and I should have been given antibiotics right away. Now, I'm left with deep scars that I am only now beginning to address. At one point, I had finger-sized holes on my body. It was both disgusting and humiliating. As I search for a new surgeon, I realize how important it is to share experiences like this. Dr. Stagnone's work was aesthetically beautiful, but the infection cost me years of my life and much of my confidence.

I've got over 100 units, have spent thousands between June-July, to get my smooth forehead back. Over night. Woke up, went and got my forehead done, and it didn't work 50 units of xeomin, went back, 2 weeks later, got another 50, went back AGAIN for another 50....Then came to Lux to get the 60 units of Botox (not of something I did NOT want-I specifically asked and pushed for Botox). My body is obviously rejecting the tox's. Xeomin/Jeauvu. So, my original Dr, who I've been going to for 5 years, injected 100-200 units, of xeomin and it failed. So, I ventured out the box to go here. To get Botox. Brooke was great. However, how dismissed I got treated after spending $600 for my forehead to look like this (well over a grand in total) because they wanted to try a "new better product" which I explained i was not comfortable with, but they did anyway...... And now I'm walking around like this, after now, almost 200 units of tox in less than 2 months has been put in my forehead. Is it either of the injectors fault? No!!! Not at all, however the way I was dismissed and told "You need to go to a plastic surgeon that's never happened to a client" like too bad so sad, we will just take your $600 and not even try to help figure it out, or help you. Super dismissed. Botox is my only self esteem, feel good thing. Gross, I know, but to be dismissed so blunt and zero kind of accountability for putting an tox in, i specifically said "probably won't work" promised it would "work better" and not even trying to figure it out after spending that amount, has left me pretty hurt and upset. No one who cares, or is professional says "sorry too bad don't know what to tell you", just really had rubbed me the wrong way. I DID NOT WANT JEAUVEA I WANTED BOTOX. TO BE CLEAR. I don't think she was mean, or rude intentionally or even at all, it's just the fact, I just paid to get 60 units that failed, with a tox i DID NOT WANT in the first place, because of this very reason. I know Botox works, anything else dissolves but they were adamant on jeauvau or whatever it's called. And here are the results, a month post 200 units of different tox (they did 60 units of jevueau) which again, I said I wanted Botox, but kept getting told "this is better" Shouldn't look like this less than a month-a month later-a month later, and that's why I wanted Botox, and not jeauveau. Current pics of "a month post jeauveau" Vs what I looked like RIGHT BEFORE this last injection nightmare. It was smooth, didn't wrinkle or fold like that, not all patchy and botched looking. My forehead looks worse post all this, than it did pre my 3 month touch up (Over the past couple of months over 100 tox's only 60 at Lux). I'm upset because I KNEW a new tox WOULD NOT work, it never does, and I went with the pushy suggestion and ended up with a really unfortunate looking forehead. Barbie doesn't like the word "botched" but that's exactly how I feel with this forehead. And flushed $600 down the drain for this ‍ not ok. My forehead looks worse than it did pre visit. When a customer asks for Botox, do not sway them, I knew this would happen, which is why I kept on pushing to stick with Botox. But "something better" was being used, and it's obviously not better, at all, because it failed. A $600 fail to some nothing, but for me. It is. This was my 3 times a year only thing I do for myself. And I'm left looking bad. 5 years. Never in my 5 years doing this, has it ever looked this horrible, even pre Botox. The suggestion was "go see a plastic surgeon i have no idea". I don't have money to see a plastic surgeon. The only "plastic surgery" I get, which is not even plastic surgery is Botox. That's it. Had we of just gone with what the customer feels comfortable with (BOTOX) then it wouldn't be this bad, I knew immediately the highly pushed one, would not work. If the Botox would have failed, I would have been content, but because a new product was pushed, and not really given the option I wanted. Give the customer what they ask for please. If they ask for Botox, give them Botox. Don't sway them please.

Intake was smooth and efficient, which immediately helped reduce stress during an ER visit. The facility was very clean and well maintained, and the overall environment felt calm and organized. The healthcare staff were professional, attentive, and communicated clearly throughout the visit. From triage to treatment, everything felt well coordinated and handled with care. This was a reassuring, well-run emergency room experience, and I'm grateful for the level of professionalism shown by the entire team.

Starting with the staff - everyone was not only professional, but just downright nice. And responsive, too. I also have to mention that whoever is running the kitchen is on top of his or her game. Great food - a flat-iron steak that was perfectly cooked was a seriously pleasant first meal after a long day of not eating anything but a few crackers after the surgery. Other meals were better than you're going to get at a lot of restaurants. Only thing missing was a glass of wine!

I have paid 30k to fix my nose with Saman. I remember sitting alone in the bed waiting to go to operating room and Dr Saman said he was gonna give me a small nose and fix it. It's now been two years and I still wish I would've never gone to him and that I would've done more research. He did NOT deliver like he said he would. Since the day my cast/tape came off the nose, you could immediately tell the bridge of my nose is not straight and has a bubble/bump on it due to needing to put a graft and til this day is still there and more noticeable. It just gets worse in time. I did not have a follow up with Dr Saman until about a year after getting me nose done because since the day the tape came off up until now I've felt so unhappy and depressed with my nose. All I want to do is be home and not be seen. When I saw him for the follow up he kept putting it on me. Blaming me. "Your nose is so thick, ugh thick noses *sigh* and only offered to inject my nose thinking it was gonna do anything AND IT DID NOT MY NOSE IS MORE SWOLLEN AND UGLY NOW. Please take my advice and just love yourself. Don't change anything. and if you do decide to then please please please do your research when finding a doctor for any kind of surgery because he does not care. All these doctors see is money and boom on to the next. Saman will blame you and not be willing to fix the issue even after you spent all your hard working money on something that should've brought happiness. Instead I sit here and cry everyday about my nose because I now cannot afford to fix this again and constantly think about how Saman is an amazing doctor and delivers great results but when it came to me he didn't care and just did whatever.
