I would definitely recommend Dr. Vo at Rock Creek Dental. I have been a patient of hers for over 25 plus years! I was with her at the old office and followed her to the new one. She is amazing and truly cares about her patients. My daughter and I just love her! Even if I were to move out of Houston, I would travel back every six months for my cleanings. I've tried scheduling a cleaning here multiple times ever since my first cleaning here which was a subliminal experience to start. Now since then they will never schedule me for a cleaning just want to schedule a consultation to look at my mouth... I understand this to an extent but not anymore. I have done a consultation already and then couldn't get a cleaning done!!! 9 months later I'm thinking I need a cleaning!! I call you they wanna do a consultation AGAIN. I JUST WANT A CLEANING. I don't know about others but I don't have time to spare for someone to just look at my mouth. I know I need a cleaning and if I they wanted to do a deeper clean I'd just schedule another one. I do not recommend Dentist Vo to any client. There're two honest advices from me: 1. Please seek the second opinion from another dentist if she wants to extract your tooth for any reason. 2. Please don't let her extract your wisdom tooth. I went to Dentist Vo's office 18 years ago when I just arrived in USA. She told me that my upper right wisdom tooth and lower right wisdom tooth severely decayed; my lower left molar also decayed and that these three teeth should be extracted due to decay. At that time, I believed in her and let her extract my lower right wisdom tooth. After her extraction of my lower right wisdom tooth which caused me a lot of pains and bleeding, I went to two other dentists to check the other two teeth. Both these dentists affirmed that my upper right wisdom tooth and my lower left molar WERE COMPLETELY HEALTHY. They also showed me the X-Ray explaining that there's NO DECAY in these teeth. Eighteen years passed. There're NO PROBLEMS with these two teeth; they're PREFECTLY HEALTHY. This proves that Dentist Kim Cúc Vo MADE UP THE DECAY in order to extract my teeth. As regards my lower right wisdom tooth, it took her up to 4 hours to extract it, she tried to pull it out many times, but she was unsuccessful. The extraction caused me a lot of pains and bleeding, but she didn't apologize to me after the extraction; instead, she blamed her malpractice on me, saying that the long-time extraction was due to my asking why it took her so long to extract my tooth. I continued suffering a lot of pains after the extraction. It impacted my quality of life because I couldn't eat or drink normally at that time. When I returned to her office to have the wound examined, she told me: "Your pain is not the end of the world.". What an unsympathetic person! Her husband even mocked me for my pain: "I advise you not to do cosmetic surgeries." I replied to him that I was not ugly and thus didn't want to do cosmetic surgery. She gave me the card visit of her dental school professor who taught her at her dental school. Because her professor was out of my network, I had to pay out of pocket for three times of visit to her professor who was a dental surgeon. HE TOLD ME THAT MY GUMS AND ALL OF THE SOFT TISSUES INSIDE MY CHEEK WERE TORN APART, CAUSING ME A LOT OF PAINS. IT WAS DUE TO THE THING THAT I HAD TO OPEN MY MOUTH FOR A VERY LONG TIME (UP TO 4 HOURS) FOR TOOTH EXTRACTION. HE TOLD ME THAT DENTIST KIMCUC NEEDED TO REFER ALL OF THE PATIENTS TO DENTAL SURGEON FOR WISDOM TOOTH EXTRACTION BECAUSE THE SURGEON HAS THE PROFESSIONAL TRAINING THAT SHE DIDN'T HAVE IN ORDER TO PERFORM THE PROCEDURE SAFELY AND EFFECTIVELY. HE HAD TO SEW ALL SOFT TISSUE INJURIES INSIDE MY CHEEKS AND GUMS; I HAD TO RETURN TO HIS OFFICE TWO MORE TIMES TO CHECK THE WOUND AND TO REMOVE THE STITCHES. Please beware of Dentist Kim Cuc Vo. If I didn't go to two other dentists to check my teeth, I would have lost my teeth forever. This is an honest opinion about this dental office. As a new patient, do not expect a cleaning on the same day as your visit. The dentist herself told me after I had spent an hour in the office that new patients don't get same day cleanings. Here is a run down of my visit, so you can make an educated decision on choosing this dental off And request the appropriate time off from work. I booked an appointment for a semi annual cleaning and check up, here's what I got. I spent an hour at this office, with the dental assistant who took X-rays as per usual, the dentist then came in and examined my teeth again as per usual. She then said if she had time "she would clean my teeth however her hygienist has called in" and she wasn't sure if she had time. I was frustrated at this point because I have never gone to a dental office and not gotten a cleaning or had to come back for a cleaning. I expressed my frustrations with the dentist and she told me that it's her office policy not to do cleanings during new patient visits. I told her no one told this to me. If someone had told me this I would not have chosen them. The office has many call ins this day and their computer system was down. I told the dentist that if someone would have communicated with me all of the haphazards the office was having I would have rescheduled. Instead this office wasted a complete hour of my time. Now I have to wait another four weeks just to get my cleaning done. Choose this office if you don't mind taking multiple visits to get a simple semi annual cleaning. I would beware of this dentist office as I do not think that the priority is honest patient care. I was lead to believe that I needed multiple sealants and fillings replaced, was pressured into scheduling, and had to pay a deposit up front for this work. I've never had a dentists' office charge me an up front deposit for treatment scheduled at a later date. Anyway, I was skeptical and got a second opinion instead. My instincts were correct as it turns out absolutely none of the dental work this dentist was recommending was necessary. I was told that my teeth looked fine - no work needed at all. The phone was answered by the standard automatic options and I selected the number for the make appointment by text message. The text message I received also gave the website address to make an appointment online - I tried that and received a prompt "not available". I would definitely not recommend this dentist to anyone. I came in for a cleaning and was told I needed 7 fillings. I got a second opinion because it just didn't sound right... that's a lot of fillings!! And sure enough I didn't need anything at all. Update- just found out that this dentist was NOT in my network after all . Staff told me that they DID accept my insurance. What they didn't bother to tell me was that although they accepted it, I would be paying a MUCH higher out of pocket expense by using them. Never mentioned that they were out of my network. This office misleads you. We were new in Texas and were looking for a dentist. We called them and ask whether they took our insurance and they said yes. We were trusting people and just took their word that they were accepting our plan. Accepting our plan, meaning participating in network. We weren't told otherwise. So all my family went for cleaning and whatever needed to be done. For almost 3 years. Just recently, my husband happened to check our dental insurance EOB and saw that they were charging us out of network. So he called our insurance company, and sure enough they told us that they were not in network. That only means that this dentist does not really care for her patients and only care for the money. Would it have killed them to be honest to their clients and just tell them that if they are out of network and that their out of pocket will be higher? Just an advise, ask the right question, whether they are in network. The state I came from, that's illegal..to not tell the patients that they are not participating in network. read more

I had seen the same dentist for 20 years prior to coming to Rock Creek and he retired so I decided to try Rock Creek based on the reviews and it was on my insurance plan. I scheduled myself for an annual cleaning. After an hour of x-rays they spring on me that I have 8 cavities that need to be filled!!! But we can't fill them all at once I would need to keep coming back to get them filled a couple at a time. I have never had a cavity in my entire life. I knew the possibility was there but I told them we would do them at a later date. I just wanted my cleaning. Then they ask me about sandblasting my teeth. It would only be $30 OOP more. So I agreed. I had not seen a dentist in a while so why not? After my sandblasting was done, they informed me that they could not complete my annual cleaning because of the sandblasting so I would have to come back in a week for the cleaning!!!!! What????? So I have now wasted 2 hours of my life and taken off of work only to find out I would have to return the next week for another hour to finish the cleaning!!!! Needless to say I wasn't happy. They scheduled me for my cleaning and I left. Within the week I received 3 phone calls trying to schedule me for all my cavity fillings I needed. Once again, I postponed. My cleaning was uneventful, other than getting asked twice to schedule my cavity fillings because "it was very important". For the next several weeks Rock Creek called regularly for my filling dates. Several months later I got an excruciating pain in one of my teeth. I knew I had probably screwed myself by procrastinating, but I took the opportunity to get a second opinion. I had my x-rays from Rock Creek sent to a different dentist. When I arrived I was ready to just have them pull my tooth out it hurt so bad. The dentist said he didn't see any cavities on my x-rays from Rock Creek. He wanted to do his own just to be sure since I was having so much pain. Once again, my new x-rays showed no cavities, especially not 8 of them!!! I was almost begging him to take my tooth out. He took the time to try and figure out what was going on. After numbing my gums, he pulled out a piece of popcorn kernel that had been lodged under my tooth for 3 days and was causing all of my pain. Anyone else would have just started drilling and pulling teeth. Thank goodness I found someone else. If you are made of money and want a pretty dental office then Rock Creek is for you. If you want someone who will actually take care of your teeth and not con you into unnecessary dental work, then look elsewhere. read more

Beware of this dentist office as they will overcharge for simple services and you'll end up paying 2 to 3 times higher prices than other dentist offices. My child went in for a regular dental cleaning then they recommended putting sealants to protect his teeth and supposedly the Insurance would cover for the procedure. 3 months later insurance denies the claim so the bill is passed on to me which I haven't refused to pay, but I refuse to pay the overcharge of the prices for the same service that had been done at a different dentist location for a cheaper price. The only reason why I took my child there is because she's closer to my house but now I know better not to give up on a good dentist with reasonable pricing just because of location. Do not accept services until they confirm with insurance company that they can pay for them and you will not be accountable for surcharges afterwards. Feels like daylight robbery ‍ read more

Just finished with my appointment and I had the most wonderful experience. I had to get a lot of work done and everyone was so kind, helpful and super gentle on my mouth. Their customer service is great, the whole office is clean and nice looking and the fact that I got to watch Netflix the whole time while my teeth were getting drilled (which did not hurt, Dr. Vo was AMAZING at administrating the shots in my mouth) was incredible.
