Avoid North Cypress Smile Dentistry!!! It's a scam shop. I went in for a basic new patient cleaning and instead was taken through a very structured process--X-rays, scans, multiple staff evaluations--only to be told I had "active periodontal disease" and needed thousands of dollars in deep cleaning and treatments. When I declined, I asked for a standard cleaning--the reason I scheduled the visit--but was told they would not perform it because the dentist had already diagnosed periodontal disease. So I left without receiving any cleaning at all. What really raised a red flag: when I said I couldn't afford the treatment, they suddenly lowered the price. By then, the trust was gone. The whole experience felt more like a sales pipeline than a dental visit. Afterward, I saw multiple reviews describing the exact same situation. DONT GO HERE! read more

Horrible horrible major scam job and insurance fraud. Went in for a basic cleaning $35 as I just switched job and had a cleaning a few months ago but had new insurance. Next thing I know I am getting a $2000 bill and I said can I just get a basic cleaning and she says no doctor said you need deep clean so we cant do a basic cleaning. If I could give these clowns a zero I would! There's definitely some shady stuff going on at this dental office. Every single time my wife and I go there they are pushing for us to get a deep clean which cost close to $1000. I take my oral hygiene very seriously and I've never had a bad exam from any of my dentist for the last 25 years. All of a sudden, they're telling me they are refusing to even do a general cleaning for me unless I pay for the deep clean. They told my wife the same thing and we are no longer going there. Oh, by the way every time I go in for a cleaning, it takes them two hours so if you have plans on doing something right after cancel it. Don't go here! I have been going here for the past 2 years and I have nothing but good things to say! Everyone is always super nice and happy to help me when I have questions. They are very knowledgeable about prices and procedures that I feel very safe in their hands. I am glad that I chose this dentist because they never sugarcoat anything and don't force you to pay for anything that you don't need. This place is also always super clean and inviting. They are also really easy to find and there is always parking. I did my wisdom teeth extractions here as well (all 4 teeth but 2 separate appts) I felt very safe with the surgeon that they use and he even gave me his number in case I had any emergencies/complications after going home. I ended up having to call him during my second surgery because the stitches were too tight and he was able to meet with me the next day to remove them a little early (: I definitely recommend coming here for your cleanings/check-ups or just for wisdom teeth surgery! read more

First time, limited exam. Xray tech, spoke non stop about personal life, along with medications thats shes on for pain. At any given moment, the blonde woman who does the financial portion, seemed to be constantly popping up, starting at front desk, to xray sude, then into personal dental area where we sit. I couldnt understand why she was constantly within feet of me. Dentist , no complaints. While sitting waiting for a return, blonde woman left screen up in exam room, it had red boxes with another color. I glanced over and realized , it was PATIENTS information. Down to name, address, numbers, and total amount under each box. My question, why am i signing a hippa agreement, when theyre just going to put in on the screen in the back? I was uncomfortable with 3 woman in such a small area, im there for my teeth and yet was asked wayyyyyyy to many petsonal questions. Not professional at all. I dont care that they smiled the entire time, but im not interested in telling my personal business, along with follow up questions from the original asking question. Once again, i was there for my teeth. I wasnt there to learn about Techs being on Tylenol 3, or others having family in certain states... please focus on your job and stop trying to create a personal relationship. I should have went with my gut feeling when in the initial phone call the receptionist said they normally schedule new patients for X-rays and cleanings on separate days. The entire visit felt like the goal was to pitch a deep cleaning. As someone that has kept semi annual cleanings up for over 30 years, I did not agree to that and they showed me the door. I could also hear the hygienist in rooms with other patients and everyone she saw needed a deep cleaning. Beware! Go elsewhere! I will be reporting this place to the dental board of examiners because I went to another dentist and they did not recommend any of the services this one did. They Change on you a lot. My experience was horrible. I came to get 4 new crowns in the front when put the temporary on they didn't do it right so they had to take them back off and they bought ripped my mouth out and then they put the same kind back in there and trying to get that out. Seem like it's ripping my mouth out I even had to get a piece out for them that they left in there. This was such a horrible experience. I was there for four hours. I got there at three in the afternoon and there till 7 PM and she did all that and then finally at the end decided she should make better crowns if she done that in the first place, I would not have stayed there that long and then the crowns were not that good the temporary and she told me don't hardly eat on them at all and to them came out one chip and she's gonna glue it back together until I said is this gonna last if I go out of town and the girl that was assisting her was like why are you telling me to glue a little bitty piece back on the temporary? It was crazy never wanna go there again there's more to the story but I'll just leave it at that. It was a horrible experience. I cannot even begin to explain how great the entire staff is! I brought my toddler in for a check up and they were so amazing with her that not only did she not cry, she didn't want to leave! I then made myself an appointment and the amazing girls up front watched my baby the entire time I had my teeth cleaned. Everything was thoroughly explained and left with clean teeth feeling great about the entire experience! They are going to be our entire family's dentist office from now on. read more

Find a different dentist office. The front Office administrator was very nice, but the dentist was not. He was not personable and a bit rude! I was going to get my wisdom teeth removed under local anesthesia because of my tooth pain, and they assured me that they could do that no problem. Then the day of the appointment I have to call and confirm, and then find out that they never put me in the system. They find an open time slot, but get a call back from the dentist saying he would rather not move forward with the removal. Very unprofessional and frustrating. Do not go there, there are plenty of other places to go! read more

Set up an appointment for a routine cleaning, get x-rays, the DDS comes in and looks at your teeth, and then the next thing you know, they send in their finance person to treat this like a timeshare sales pitch with an upsell. Once you politely decline, stating I just want my teeth cleaned today they tell you they cannot do routine cleaning. So now it's looking pretty shady...Let me get this straight, you have time for the 1.5 hour deep cleaning, but you don't have time for a routine cleaning? I have dental insurance for a reason, I don't need a $500 sales pitch for an ultra-deep cleaning. I will absolutely own voicing my opinion in the office. Then again, maybe I should send them a bill for my hourly rate for taking away the little time I have at home to spare. This is the second time they've pulled this S***. BEWARE: AVOID THIS PLACE. Dishonest. They tried to charge extra for unnecessary work and also tried to charge way above our insurance allowance for the needed treatment. They flatly refused to perform the yearly cleaning unless I agreed to their dishonest charges on the spot. Not going back. Went to a different dentist (Celine Dental) after this unpleasant experience. Completely different story here. From the moment I called to set up the appointments Hilary was absolutely the sweetest and the most helpful over the phone! When we came in for the visit the warm welcoming was awesome! The office is very clean and they have very high tech equipment the X-rays were no longer a pain to do!! My son is terrified of the dentist and the entire staff did everything they could to make sure he stayed calm and they supported him through the process!! They made us feel like at home. This is the best dental office I have ever been to. Everyone in the office is so kind and friendly, I felt very welcome and comfortable during both of my visits. Today, Megan the hygienist did a deep cleaning on my teeth as well as a whitening treatment. I got more than I paid for!!! My service was only supposed to take an hour but my teeth needed more attention and she happily spent the extra time that was needed to clean and whiten my teeth beautifully!!!
