As someone with dental anxiety, one of my biggest fears has always been needing a root canal. I…read morehave such trust issues that I drive 3 hours twice a year to my hometown dentist for cleanings. Unfortunately, I found myself needing a root canal after a long ordeal with a broken crown. My dentist reached out to an oral surgeon colleague in the area who immediately referred her to Dr. Spradley as being one of the best. They got me in about a week or so after calling for an appointment. I was genuinely surprised that was the soonest they were available seeing as this office only does root canal procedures. However, I realize now that's just a testament to how good they are that everyone comes here to have that done. While I didn't get to see Dr. Spradley personally, I was very happy with the care I received from his associate. Everything was thoroughly explained to me, they went over the financial aspect with me and were very reassuring to me throughout the procedure. I felt listened to and well cared for. I've had dental procedures that lasted a lot longer and were a lot more uncomfortable. I was very pleasantly surprised at how "easy" the procedure was. It was painless. The only negative is that they did inform me a small piece of tool broke off in the root that they were unable to safely retrieve. However, they showed it to me on my X Ray and told me that it shouldn't cause me any issues now or in the future. They emailed a detailed report to my regular dentist following the procedure which I really appreciated. They also provided after care instructions that included Dr. Spradley's personal cell number should I have any issues after business hours. Root canals are definitely not ideal, but if you need one this is definitely the place to have it done.

He quickly stopped before really getting started and told me that my tooth had a crack in it and he could not proceed with the root canal! He then proceeded to give me two scripts (one for clearing up any infections in the tooth and another for discomfort. He also gave me the name of a dentist (an oral surgeon) to get my tooth extracted. So, now 3 months out, I am feeling back to normal but , I will not forget how caring Dr Spradley and his entire staff were to me that morning in early March.

Other than her, no one seemed to care about my comfort. and if you're a normal height man or a tall woman, you will be constantly told to watch for your head because everything is set up for very small people. When I sat in the chair (which was difficult because it is extremely low to the ground and I'm older), I told the assistant that the headrest was very uncomfortable. She said, "You'll get a pillow when you get treated." Then she almost forgot even that. After charging me more than twice what the Oral Surgeon charged for a conical x-ray, you would think they could afford adjustable chairs and headrests. Then the endodontist hurt me worse than I have ever been hurt in a dental office before. and I have been hurt a lot at the dentist. She was testing my other tooth and she told me it was a good thing it hurt because that meant that the tooth was alive. When examining the infected tooth to determine if it was loose, she was so rough that I still felt the effects the next day. Oh, and by the way, the oral surgeon determined the same thing without hurting me very much. I can only conclude that this endodontist doesn't care if she hurts you. I assume my dentist sent me to this endodontist because she uses holistic treatment. To hell with that. Next time I'm going to my old endodontist that was kind. And I'm reconsidering my present dentist for sending me there.

I'm not gonna go into details because it's too many; the receptionist sweet as pie. The dental assistant not so much the dentist horrible from the time I went to the back to the time I left was a horrible experience again too many details to add. I was referred by a friend of hers so I'm not gonna bash her too much just know that I don't recommend you to go to her!! I paid $500 out of pocket for the worst experience trust and believe it has nothing to do with the money!! I would have rather given somebody $700 with OK treatment than $500 of horrible treatment. So try her at your own risk just remember I warned you Hello.. Dr Ho Well of course your experience with me was a pleasant one. Regardless of how TERRIBLE my experience was, I WILL always always be TRUE TO WHO I AM! As mentioned in my review, Finances was never the issue. I would have paid $1000 for BETTER SERVICE. You are correct, I was advised two days prior to my appointment of the estimated out-of-pocket expense; Which was $500-$600. So I was actually prepared for worst case scenario. Boy, did I get worst case scenario... and it was not pertaining to funds! However m, you would like me to mention a LONG LIST OF ISSUES .. HERE'S JUST THE FIRST 10!! 1. No temperature taken (As stated on the door before you walk in) 2. Consult/treatment plan given (wrong patient) 3. You and the assistant obviously were having communication issues; in the middle of my procedure you left out ..only for a few seconds ( BUT STILL)you came back with the SAME GLOVES ON and continued with the procedure. 4. You applied the topical lidocaine and immediately began shooting me up.. DAMN can I get topically numb first? 5.Every time you reached for a tool from the assistant, you hit me in the nose with the dental explorer. 6. During the procedure, you were drilling to remove the infected pulp... NOT ONCE DID MY MOUTH GET SUCTIONED.. not to mention I tried to give you guys a hint.. I mean who wants to swallow bacteria and tooth shavings? 7. Your response after the treatment was complete.." all done my lady" Initially I was told that the tooth was so infected it may be a two appointment process, so before you walked out of the room I asked "hey are we done? do I have to come back"? and your reply was "no, I did it all today" HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT...? 8. I had gutta-percha residue in my mouth. Wasn't given the option to rinse. 9.No after care consultation!! do's and don'ts .. what to expect.. What to avoid.. How are you feeling ? Do you need a pain reliever ? Should I continue the antibiotics (since the tooth was SOOO INFECTED.. How long will this temporary filling last... ? I HAD TONS OF QUESTIONS!!! Hell, you/assistant didn't even wipe my face off!! Luckily, I went to the restroom and I was able to clean up myself up. So, Dr. Ho, Above is My TOP TEN just for starters!! I guess it all boils down to bedside manners!! I know the importance of Customer Service and or bedside manners It can make or break a business! 17 years of experience with business ownership I treat EVERY CLIENT of mine as if they were my last!! You came highly recommended to me and therefore I expected to have exceptional service ****CHECK OUT THE P

But if you've got teeth pain or need a root canal, this is where you want to go. I had gone to Dr. Gorman over 10 years ago when I needed a root canal done on a tooth with a permanent crown. He was excellent then, and he's still that way. This time around, I've been having a real go-round with a new permanent bridge that was put in by my regular dentist (went this route rather than an implant after a crown came off with part of my tooth attached). I was experiencing excruciating pain on the entire side of my face where the bridge was placed. Nothing - and I mean nothing - alleviated the pain. I popped Advil like candy. I couldn't sleep. It got bad. Really bad. My regular dentist referred me to Dr. Gorman for assessment. Right away he explained why I was experiencing such intense pain and what I could do to "get things back to normal." A few adjustments on my bite and an anticipated timeline for the muscles on my jaw to heal were given. I did feel better . . . for a bit. Went back to my original dentist to have the bridge seated permanently with less pain, but pain nonetheless. I was referred back to Dr. Gorman again, who once more assessed the healing process and what needed to be done to get me back to a time when I was not having any pain at all. Dr. Gorman is such a kind, patient man. He's extremely professional with an excellent bedside manner. He explains everything in detail, converting to layman's terms when you don't quite get all of the medical lingo! He spends time with you. This is not an in-and-out dental visit. Dr. Gorman talks to you - the person - and takes care of business. He also has state-of-the-art equipment in his office so he's able to see exactly what's going on with your teeth. Office staff is excellent too. Call and you'll often be able to get a same-day appointment. The entire staff is so nice. Highly recommend Dr. Gorman and this practice if you're referred to an endodontist. Excellent, thorough care!

RUN BEFORE YOU GET SCAMMED…read more I emailed them to get a quote for Vivera retainers and was quoted $700 (+$59 "evaluation"). However, what I received were Essix retainers. When I showed them the email, they said it's just a misunderstanding. Great! A dental office misunderstood between retainers made by Invisalign and retainers made in their lab. Not to mention, my Essix cracked after 1.5 months and they said it's due to grinding. However, I had worn my aligner for almost 2 months without issues. They suggested a $250 nigh guard, but didn't answer whether it could function as a retainer. They said if they provided Vivera, it would crack as well. But as I researched, Vivera is much more durable, that's why I chose Vivera at the beginning. Even if you're considering Essix, please get a quote from several dentists. I promise you'll love yourself for doing so. They charged me another $500 for removing attachments. I didn't have time to research because they asked me to sign immediately and didn't quote that in the email. Just wanna let you know that other dentists do it for around $200. After arguing for 1 day, they refunded $700 (not $759) upon Essix's return. I could have lost that amount if I called. Please email/text so you can keep proof.
