No waitlist to make things easier. I had called other dermatologist and was getting the same response of not accepting new patients. Eventually, I was informed that she had hired a new PA-C when I called, Kieu Dang, and I was finally able to book an appointment--three months out--for 10/8/2025. I showed up prepared to discuss my primary concern, which was acne, but I also wanted to address several additional issues that appeared from the time I scheduled the appointment to 10/8: hair loss, stye eye, eczema on my eyelid, and a new burn. Unfortunately, the appointment lasted only 10-15 minutes. I was told that only my acne would be addressed during this visit, and that I would need to book separate appointments for the other concerns. During the short time I had, I was prescribed three medications with very little explanation. Told I needed to take them for life. Kieu Dang simply looked at my skin and mentioned that I had various types of acne without specifying what they were. No blood work was done, and aside from a light scan on my face, no in-depth examination took place. She recommended CeraVe and Cetaphil--brands I had already tried without success--and showed no empathy or personalized care. Her overall demeanor lacked any sense of customer service or attentiveness. It was incredibly disappointing to invest three hours of my day, including the commute, for such a brief and unhelpful appointment. After waiting over a year and trying multiple treatments in the meantime--facials, microneedling, chemical peels--I had hoped for a more thoughtful and thorough medical consultation. From a patient standpoint, this was one of the worst experiences I've had with a healthcare provider on 10/8/2025. Kieu was much better in my follow-up on 10/9/2025. She showed signs of empathy, understanding, curiosity, and personalized treatment. The explanation for treatment and prevention for my eye eczema and burn was explained with detail by providing background. I was happy to see this change in less than 24 hours in her care. I appreciate a physician being flexible in their care and taking feedback.

Almost intern possibly. I finally had to ask, I am getting a teeth cleaning today right?? Nope. I was absolutely livid. I had to make another appt for my actual teeth cleaning. After the photo shoot of my mouth, they took me to a room to with another provider who told showed me all these fancy photos of my teeth and an elaborate list of what work can be done on my mouth. Absolutely ridiculous. Long story short, hygienist was nice at first, but then messed up one of my bottom left teeth while she was doing my cleaning. To this day, I still can't eat hard chips on that side. Also the lady who replaced my crown was suppose to match my tooth color, but it is sooo off. Also had to go back several times on this crown because it aches every now and then. They couldn't tell me why. Went back numerous times. I gave up. Only people I liked was the front desk staff.

Being persuaded out of my will... the attempt was made on 2 different occasions. once when I tried to cancel service (cancelation fee $60 per hour). Second time was the fluoride , a service I didnt really want but persuaded to. The cost for service is higher than that of other competitors. The quality of work is good. Pay close attention to your bill, confirm and verify or you have the possibility of being taken advantage of.
