My experience has not been good. On two occasions I have received emails from their recruiting staff. On both occasions I replied within reasonable time from receiving the requirement. However, both recruiters do not get back to you and I do bring a solid skill set to both of the positions. The first recruiter just would not get back to me. I called in to see if there is another recruiter I could work with. The manager called left me a voice message. I returned the call and left a voice message to top call me back to never hear back. I received a requirement last Friday. I have replied twice letting the recruiter know I am interested and would like to be considered for the position. I called in to the office today and the reception said the recruiter was on a call and she would call me back. I see some good reviews on this staff. unfortunately, I have not experienced the same. read more

They did half of what they said they told me they would do, whereas AppleOne did all of what they told me they could do, therefore OfficeTeam only gets half the rating AppleOne does. They share an Office with Creative (which is run by Robert Half & Accountemps). So I interviewed all at once many months ago when I first moved into the city. Laura from Creative was nice enough to introduce me to Adriana from OfficeTeam. Like Laura, she was professional during the interview, seemed like she knew what she was doing. They talked a big game, sold what they could do well, but didn't actually do it. They never found me any part or full time work, whereas AppleOne quickly did. I barely ever heard from Adriana after that day. Dani from OfficeTeam did find me day to day stuff, but it was always last minute when they'd make you aware - such as a few days before or day of. So unless you sit around all day with an open schedule, the day to day work is very short notice. But I guess at least she tried to do something, so points there. If you ask them about their poor reviews online, or if they're reading this they might be thinking, "Oh it's because we couldn't find them work so they're just mad." But other agencies did find me work much faster, so I'm rating them based on what I experienced elsewhere. And it wasn't that this company got me some interviews, and this other company got me a couple more interviews and I landed a job. I'm talking a large discrepancy, so OfficeTeam was probably not trying very hard. So, the fact is that they didn't do their job near as effectively as other temp agencies. Also, they messed up on some of my paperwork, and I had to go to their office to fix it - they forgot to get the info on Green Card which could have been a big HR screwup. I couldn't fairly give them 1 star though. A major positive is that they're polite and easy to deal with on the phone. Some recruiters take a long time to reply to Emails, respond to timesheet software issues, or sound angry on the phone. Neither Laura or Adriana were ever moody on the phone and were always polite. They're fast when returning Voicemails and Emails, tend to still be in-office after 5pm. Same with Dani, but Dani would pressure really hard for the day to day jobs, she'd try to get a "yes" before even describing to me what the job entailed or the pay. She'd make a fantastic sales person, probably a big fan of the book "How To Get To Yes." (Edit: I gave them a below-average review on a survey they Emailed me. And someone from their office called me and told me what they could do better. I essentially told them that they probably could have tried harder, because other temp agencies did a better job. They said stuff similar to when I interviewed, that they'd find me this & that, and I never heard from them again which was what I assumed would happen. But at least they read their surveys, so you know at least there's some sort of effort given in this aspect.) Overall, I've probably spent more money on parking meeting them and filing paperwork at their Seattle office, than money made from work they've found me. If you're new to the city and randomly job searching, they're probably worth a quick shot to send your resume online to, but I wouldn't expect much effort on their part past the initial interview. read more

OfficeTeam really sucks. I had the worst experience with my employment through OfficeTeam. The job itself was not bad, but the communication between the temp agency and the employer was clearly lacking and it cost me my job. I would never recommend OfficeTeam to anyone. In fact, I would tell people to never use this organization to find employment, since they are the worst. They should learn how to communicate and make sure their employees and employers know the expectations. They suck at explaining anything. My experience with Office Team is/was excellent. My interview with Katrina Touray was very good. She listened to what I wanted to work towards and answered all my questions. She enthusiastic, friendly and professional. Within the first week, Jennipner called with job offers. Unfortunately, the call time and the start time can be very close and u was unable to with the office in time. Like the other reviewer noted, but Office Team takes the time to look for me and I don't have to sit on the computer for hours on end looking for and submitting a ton of applications. I Am on a short term assignment from OT while I continue to submit to companies for a full time job but I am sure sooner or later one of my OT jobs could become permanent too. In the mean time I will better utilize my time training and upgrading my skills on the Robert Half website with the free courses they offer. You can't please all the people all the time but make the most if what is in front of you. I plan to while I look for my ideal job with the help of Office Team. The Bellevue Office Team receives a grade of F-. I wasted my time by going to their office, signing up, testing and supplying my credentials only to be blatantly ignored. I made repeated phone calls to reach my Office Team associate. "I'm sorry, but she's in a meeting", "I'm sorry, but she's on the phone", "I'm sorry, but she's with another client", etc. Each and every time, I was invited to leave a voice mail in addition to a message- which I did. No call was EVER returned. No apologies were made. I make no apologies for revealing what you may be in store for, should you choose to patronize this employment agency circus. I gave a 1 star grade, as there were no other lower ratings available. Have a nice day. read more

Highly recommended. No matter what stage you are in your career (just graduated, entry level, wanting a career change, management level or above), check them out and see if they can help you find what you're looking for. I had a very positive experience. Everyone in the office is extremely nice and helpful. What is so great about Accountemps is that it is part of Robert Half so they have a lot of resources and connections to find the right type of job for you. They can help you find part time jobs, temporary jobs, and permanent jobs. This location also communicates with the other local Accountemps locations in Western Washington which increases your opportunities. They really listen to what you are looking for and try to find the job that is the best fit for you based on your criteria and qualifications. However, you must understand that you have to be the right candidate too. If you do not have the right qualifications for something, trust their profession and experience in this industry and be open to listening to their suggestions and options for you. You have to do your part too! I really felt like they were rooting for me and they even gave me tips for my resume and interviews. She really went the extra mile to get me through all of the medical tests I had to do to work at Evergreen Healthcare. She is also friendly and a pleasure to work with. She followed up promptly and was able to schedule an appointment with me at a time that was convenient for the both of us. Although she was not able to match a position for me immediately, she took the time to go over my resume and identify where I could make improvements, and did so over a couple of iterations. Office Team & the Robert Half group of agencies are the best staffing agencies I've ever worked with & the only ones who have actually found me positions. I highly recommend Jennipher in Bellevue! She seems to genuinely care about her clients & contractors. A lot of recruiters will blow sunshine up your skirt while you're there & then you never hear from them again. Not so here. You have to communicate with your recruiter & be open to opportunities. You have to understand that you may have to settle for less pay for the bigger picture. Listen to them, they know the market. I accepted a quick, 3 week assignment with Office Team, and placed with a reputable company in Bellevue. It was an Executive Assistant position supporting a VP. Her EA had to take immediate family leave, the pay was extremely low, but I figured it would keep me busy for a few short weeks, and accepted the position. The VP had a Business Manager who was supposed to be my manager, however, he had a temporary employee in a project coordinator position, and he asked her to "help" me ramp up and support the VP. Long story short, the temp felt she was my supervisor and wouldn't let me take a break, 15min. or even a lunch break. She did not want to approve my Over Time, but was quick to ask me to arrive early and stay late. I complained to Office Team about the situation the day I started working. Sasha asked me to try and work with the temp, since it was such a short term position. Big mistake. I gave them the name of the Business Manager, and his direct phone number, so they could let him know the situation. Theoretically, his company was responsible if he placed a non-employee in a supervisory position and that said employee behaved illegally, i.e. not allowing employees break time. When the contract ended, Sasha at Office Team called me and said that the temp complained about me saying that I left work for Physical Therapy appointments and took too long when I left work. Again, I explained the situation and that I complained to Office Team as soon as I was told I couldn't take a break, and that she even complained about my requesting over time. Yet, each and every week that submitted my hours, the business manager had no issue with my working OT. Now, I call Office Team, and get a call back from a new guy who told me I have a BLACK MARK on my record!! He read the notes, and looked for notes with my response, but he said there were no notes. With all of the agencies we have, there is no reason to try and explain myself again, to an agency that from the beginning did not resolve an illegal situation, and even exacerbated it by adding new, and erroneous notes, without my response. I can't work for an agency that places employees in a situation that becomes illegal, and then they do not try to resolve it, and blames the employee. read more

He then told me I would receive an email with paperwork and it's been over a week and I have yet to receive it even after emailing and letting him know. I've heard nothing from him. My first experience with Office Team, and Jennipher in particular, was awesome! The stars are for her. I came into the office, filled out paperwork, did the testing and within two days had a long term assignment. It was a great experience. After that first assignment, though, I've had nothing but negative. Allow me to elaborate... After the first assignment Jennipher was no longer my recruiter and the new one I worked with was the most unorganized, scatter-brained, overworked recruiter I've ever spoken to. I won't call her out by name, but, honestly, I doubt she's still employed there. She submitted me for a great sounding opportunity that could be perm and said the client was excited to interview me and wanted to schedule it right away. She followed up by insisting that I not take any more temp assignments because she wasn't sure when the interview would be so she needed me to be available on short notice. Ok...that is fine but I was offered a good temp assignment from another Office Team recruiter that I turned down, taking money out of my wallet, because she insisted. She said she would call me with an interview time within the day. Then I waited...and waited...and waited. She never called back and didn't return my calls or emails. Finally, two weeks after I started trying to reach her I finally did, only for her to say "they weren't interested" and basically hang up on me. Ummm...what happened to "excited to interview me"? Ok, one strike. A quick email to say they weren't interested after all would have taken 30 seconds and would have allowed me to say yes to other temp assignments. The same recruiter then submitted me for another position. I went through a phone screen and two rounds of interviews and it was down to me and two other candidates. The final interview went very well (I thought). And I waited, waited, waited again. Once again she didn't respond. I've actually been an agency recruiter, so I know extremely well how busy she was. Because of that I didn't bug her incessantly or unnecessarily but I did email to follow up a couple of times over the next two weeks and left a voicemail. Not a word. In fact, I never heard a word from her again. There is no excuse not to shoot a 30 second email to a candidate that went through that many rounds of interviews just to say "sorry they picked someone else". That is just a common courtesy. I can't imagine I would have a dreaded "black mark" on my record, or any other reason for the lack of contact. I've always had great feedback from clients and they wouldn't send someone with a "black mark" out on interviews anyway. Strike two, and I didn't stick around for a third strike. By the time another Office Team recruiter called me with an assignment weeks later, I was already working at a job I'd found myself. I hope I keep this job a very long time, but if I'm ever in a position to need temp work again I won't be going back to Office Team. read more

Like any other company they are in business to make money. They make money by placing people in jobs. Like me! I am not an accountant but they have consistently found me work in accounts receivanble, collections and as an accounting clerk. It pays to keep in touch with them and let them know you are still looking. If they call with a position that is over your head or doesn't match your profile you just let them know. No worries. Unlike the person who doesn't give them one star, I would like to give them 4 stars. In this economy, they have found me something more often than not and that means the difference between being able to eat decently and keep the lights and the heat on. It also pays to have a grateful attitude and not expect things to happen like they do on tv. In other words, an accounting degree will get you a decent hourly wage but it doesn't come with a free Mercedes sedan and you won't get to pose prettily at your desk and do nothing for 40 hours per week... read more

My friends and collegues suggested me to sign up with the office team in Seattle, but this one which one in Bellevue was the closest one. So i signed-up and took tests. My test results were awesome. During the interview I've mentioned them my required min/max hourly rate, Later she called me with lower rate a job offer, which I surprised. I refused that job offer, I mean I could get paid that amount If I didn't go to the college and if I work as a housekeeper. With two ASS degree, that lower rate?? Anyways, and I didn't hear back for a while from them, now when I call her she is busy, she is in the interview, she is blahblah. I left message, I sent email, NO RESPONSE!!! WOW!!! What an unproffessional they are!!! If she won't return my call next week too, I will give her name, I don't want other job seekers loose their time with them!!! read more

I've worked with them for one assignment and several interviews. While their personnel is always friendly, the positions they offer are low paying but work intensive. Additionally, contact between recruiters is apparently minimal. I have repeatedly told them what my minimum wage request is, only to be offered positions below that amount consistently. Finally, when faced with this complaint, a lot of nice words are offered but action taken is minimal. I give them a below average rating as they simply do not have assignments that would be suitable for anyone who has more than a year experience in nearly any field. read more

The Office Team crew in Bellevue are great! Very professional and genuinely interested in placing me with an assignment. My sourcing agents were Tessa Wilder & Allison Berry. Both were very knowledgeable and responsive. With their help, they were able to find me a position working with Microsoft in Redmond as an Operations Assistant within the University Recruiting team. This opportunity aligned with my needs as I had began changing my career to the Human Resources industry. My assignment with Microsoft was an enjoyable experience. I was able to demonstrate my skills while learning/supporting Microsoft university recruiting operations. As an operations assistant, I was plugged into different work teams needing assistance with their workflow. I had the opportunity to add process improvements of my own. Microsoft management and others working in the same department were welcoming and supportive. While on assignment I continued my job search for a full time position, which I found. If I were to continue working with a staffing agency, I would continue working with Office Team/Robert Half International in Bellevue. The positive aspects are that you work with a supporting staffing agency who can connect you with great companies for contract assignments. They are responsive, which was a huge positive when looking for work. My sourcing team, Tessa & Alison, also added their own personal touches to the process which made the overall experience a great one. The only thing I would change about my experience would be the hourly pay. Although it was lower than I expected, it was decent for a contract assignment. Also, certain Microsoft assignments receive holiday pay and mine qualified for that so that helped during Nov. & Dec. Overall, my experience was great and I would recommend Bellevue Office Team to others looking for contract assignments read more
