On the way out you pay for parking with for the allotted time you were there. The grocery store and other little stores are on the first floor and a lot of clinics/dentist offices are on the second floor. Once you get to the second floor, there'll be someone at the main door asking you to check in and that really just states your name and how many people are with you and what office you're going to. There is a staircase, and there is an elevator to get to the second floor. The office is small but very clean but unfortunately in Mexico, what happens sometimes is that the running water stops working and you cannot use the restroom since there is no water to flush the toilet. The two girls at the front are really nice and are really inviting. Feel free to ask them any questions you have. Dr Yasmin introduced herself and she was very lovely and she is the person who did my cleaning and my teeth whitening. She was very lovely as well and she kept asking me if I was OK and was very attentive. So what happens first is that the doctor will check you out and make sure that the items you requested can actually happen that day and then someone comes and gives you a quote and if you would like to continue, you sign the quote and then the work is started. It was my very first time doing a teeth whitening, and while she was doing it, it did not hurt at all, but I did experience some teeth sensitivity around an hour later. The teeth whitening is four sessions of 15 minutes under some sort of lamp on your teeth. It is a small quaint clean office. I would definitely go back.

I started this journey to finally replace broken teeth and fill in the back teeth I'd been missing for years. A family friend who works in dental tourism referred me here (he's got contacts all over Mexico if anyone needs a referral -- his site is cancunallonfour.com). After my initial consultation, we scheduled surgery to remove 14 teeth and place my implants. Dr. Leo is honestly the best -- I had some bone loss going in, but he assured me it wouldn't be an issue, and he was right. He didn't rush the bridge either; he wanted the implants to heal fully and the bone to integrate completely first. Four months later I went back to have the posts placed, and I'd healed so well we skipped temporaries and went straight to the zirconia bridge. Dr. Challi did the actual teeth, and she's truly an artist. I stayed a full week to make sure everything was perfect, and it is. They treated me with so much respect the whole way through. The clinic is at New City Medical Plaza, literally five minutes from the border, and the hotel on the other side of the plaza is excellent too -- we stayed there both trips, and the whole team was there for us every step. And I almost forgot the best part: between the surgery, the teeth, and all the time they spent with me, the total cost was about 70% less than what I'd been quoted in the US. Unfortunately, the actual filling work done by the dentist was very poor. Issues I experienced: 1. The filling chipped and fell off within the first week, in three separate pieces. 2. The contact point between the repaired molar and adjacent tooth was incorrect floss passes straight through with no resistance, creating a gap that was not there before. 3. There was excess filling material left on the outside of the tooth. 4. During bite adjustment, the dentist ground down not only the filling but my actual molar and the neighboring teeth, even though the bite was still off. At this point, the tooth is worse than when I came in. I'm very disappointed in the quality of the restorative work and would not feel comfortable having this dentist perform fillings again. I hope X Dentistry reviews this case and takes appropriate action or provides additional training, as I would not want another patient to go through a similar experience.

Insurance is accepted. And in our case, Delta Dental, reimbursement is quite easy when submitting and out of network claim form. There are lot's of choices for dentists in Tijuana. I have been coming to this dentist for about 2 years…read more My first consultation on 5-15-2015 with Dr. Raúl he told me I have the worst case underbite, which fell under the stage 3 category. That is when your lower jaw is long and protrudes over your upper jaw. In comparison I looked like a bulldog lol. My total cost for the overall braces procedure was $2,800 (U.S) dollars or $49,415.05 (PESOS) . My first down payment to get started was $900.00 (U.S) or $15,883.45 (PESOS) depending on the currency exchange. Dr. Raúl is a very experienced doctor. He has a team of highly qualified/professional dental assistants. I really admire that they take pride in their work and won't leave you with half a*s job. I am coming close to getting my braces off. Today I got my lower brackets off and was given a retainer. Dr. Raúl was very informative and also gave me proper steps I need to do to keep my teeth straight. Step1. Don't lose your retainer. (Important not to wrap it in tissues or paper cloths) you might possibly throw it away. Step 2. Only wear it at night before going to bed and while sleeping. Instructions may be different for you. My first thought was I am going to Dr. Sergio and see what he says, I got in touch with him, but found out that he was working elsewhere and he recommended coming to his clinic and to see Dr. Erick. As stated in my previous review I am a huge dental coward and find it difficult to trust a new dentist. I trusted Dr. Sergio enough to give Dr. Erick a chance and I am so happy I did. Dr. Erick is the absolute best, I didn't tell him that I had, just been seen by another dentist, but instead scheduled a deep cleaning and consultation. When Dr. Erick finished X-rays, cleaning, and examining me, he did identify two crowns that I thought would need to be replaced and that was all the work that needed to be done. Dr. Erick immediately started on the preparation work for the crowns and the permanent crowns were placed one week later. Seriously one of the best dental experiences of my life. Dr. Erick is very knowledgeable and experienced and shows great concern and kindness for his patients. This dental clinic exhibits the highest standards of care and concern and hygiene.
