Today drove a friend from San Diego to Tijuana for dental work and after seeing the entire experience firsthand, I was genuinely impressed. The cost alone was remarkable. The same treatment that would have cost over $2,000 in the United States was about $380. But what really stood out wasn't the savings--it was the quality of the experience. From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptionally well organized. They picked us up in a beautiful, air conditioned vehicle, provided secure underground parking, complimentary water, and welcomed us into an immaculate clinic on the 11th floor with a gorgeous outdoor patio where companions can relax while waiting. The office was spotless--easily one of the cleanest medical facilities I've ever visited. According to my friend the doctor was outstanding, explaining everything clearly and making my friend feel completely at ease. Considering it was dental work, there was surprisingly little discomfort throughout the procedure. I've visited plenty of medical and dental offices over the years, and BioDental Care delivers a level of service that rivals--or exceeds--many practices in the United States. If you're considering dental work in Mexico, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. An outstanding experience from beginning to end. Completely botched even a simple bone graft. Was hammering on my granddaughter to put in several posts current AMERICAN dentist stated she did not need. New dentist stated that she has no idea what Biodental was even trying to do. Bone graph is also worthless because the bone wasn't roughed up enough to attach to it. Wasted $1300+ and months healing going to this crap place. Will report to their board. Im sure their medical tourism board doesn't want people hearing about this horrible work done by hacks. read more

I'm updating my review because it's been a couple years now. I live in Los Angeles and have been using this dental office exclusively since early 2021. I can make the 2 hour drive from LA for an appointment and be back by mid afternoon before rush-hour traffic starts. My first work with them was a Zirconia implant that went great so I started getting cosmetic work done- veneers, crowns etc. Now I've actually crowned or veneered all my teeth and they look incredible. In the US it would've cost over $30k but I paid less than $10k. I even recently brought my Mom for all-on-four and she got the best materials, nano-ceramic, and it was just over $20k - in the US it would be over $60k. Her teeth look amazing and a friend who used clear choice in the US for $50k told my Mom her work looks much better than theirs. If you have an opportunity to try these guys I highly recommend you do it. read more

I contacted BioDental after learning how much $$$$$$ the dentists were wanting in the states for crowns and dental implants. Surprisingly, BioDental's facility is state of the art (better than any I've seen in the states) and the cost was about 1/3 of what they wanted in Seattle! They were also a big help recommending low interest US financing for the work as well. Dr Nadia is the best. Her bedside matter is excellent. She is incredibly meticulous and thorough in her work. They also have oral surgeons, and provided an anesthesiologist for my major work: Extractions, bone marrow transplants, and installing my implants. (general anesthesia was important to me) Their office is the whole top floor of a really nice office building in Tijuana with a big patio and an awesome view. Additionally, they provide concierge services by helping set up travel, local hotels, and transportation to and from the clinic. They have prescriptions delivered directly to the clinic for you too. They can get you a driver to/from the San Diego airport for a nominal fee. Border crossings are made easy with a medical pass that they also arrange. All in all, they make it as easy as possible for you. If you are uneasy about leaving the USA for dental work, I understand. Do your homework. Research your potential providers. Ask lots of questions on credentials, etc. it's worth it. Lastly, I can't recommend Biodental enough. Their office is the cleanest dental office I've ever seen and they use the latest technology. The staff all speaks perfect English which is helpful because you want to make sure they understand what you are saying. There is a nice rooftop outdoor area where I sat and waited for him. They offer shuttle service from the border if you need. We spent the week in Mexico so we drove ourselves. There is a free parking lot right next to the building. We had a quote emailed to us before we went in and the cost was exactly what was quoted, nothing more. His entire process went well and he didn't have any pain during or after. The price we paid was a quarter of what we were quoted in the US. I would highly recommend using this facility. It is in a safe location and easy to find. I had my first visit with BioDental 5/26/2025 and my whole experience was excellent! Scheduling was easy and they spoke perfect English. The sent me paperwork to my email same day after calling. They offered a shuttle service to pick me up and take me to the office. I was going to use this but I ended up driving with a companion. The office building was nice and very modern. The receptionist was nice and friendly offering us coffee/tea. I got the panoramic X-ray that was fast and simple. Dr. Nadia Green and her assistant who saw me were very thorough and careful as they worked on me for about 5hrs. I was able to get a medical pass and was able to cross the border within 30mins. I had 7filings and cleaning done for $570 US dollars. Price and quality were exceptional and I truly appreciate the team there. I will definitely be going back! read more

Went down for a crown. Left the first appointment uncomfortable bc the temp was too high even though I told them repeatedly it didn't fit right. Was told by the 2nd dentist who finally stepped in after nearly 3 hours of drilling/shaping that it was fine bc it was only temporary. 2nd appointment- was told they had to reshape bc the permanent crown wasn't going to fit correctly. Nearly 3 weeks later and I am in excruciating pain every single day. Not only on the tooth they worked on but all the teeth on my right side bc my bite isn't aligned. No recourse for them, they make you sign a document that everything fits great before they finish while they have your tooth exposed, essentially holding you hostage. I went to them for the price, my regular dentist is reluctant to fix their work, don't go there unless you absolutely have to. read more

If I could give more stars if I could. I'm a retired firefighter living in San Diego with pretty decent dental insurance. But... It makes much more sense for me to pay for all my dental needs out of my pocket. Why? It actually costs less and I get much more for my dollar. Doctor Trejo and his team of skilled dentists are very professional and really know what they're doing. They have provided me with 6 implants, removed harmful old fillings and replaced with safe materials, provided me with replacement crowns. All done GREAT! The front desk staff are kind and hospitable. I used to take advantage of their picking me up at the border and shuttling me to the office, but now I park my own car in a safe and secure parking lot right next to the office building. The office building is easy to find, the office itself is probably nicer than any dentist office that I've seen in the US. The location of the building is perhaps 5 minutes from the Tijuana border entry. All in all, I recommend Bio Dental wholeheartedly and without any reservations. I really appreciate all that these folks have done for me! My dental visits now are completed without any anticipated anxiety or fear. At 69 years of age, missing teeth on opposing sides of my mouth I had to decide to accept total tooth loss in the next decade or seek a source of affordable implants. The cost of such surgery in the USA would have been close to $60,000 or more. After much research I opted to visit Bio Dental Care in Tijuana for an initial consultation. I was met at San Diego Airport by their driver Arturo and driven directly to the clinic, which was the cleanest, most modern clinic I had ever seen. The front desk staff were extremely friendly, professional and fluent in English. I received a CT scan and full diagnosis along with 2 detailed quotes for two different paths forward. I opted for the "Full Rehabilitation" option which entailed 5 implants with crowns and 18 existing teeth having new porcelain ceramic crowns for approximately 1/3 of the cost in the USA. After 3 visits the treatments were completed and I could not be happier. I am very happy with my decision in choosing Bio Dental Care. I traveled from Philadelphia (American Airlines) nonstop to San Diego. A driver (arranged by Bio Dental) picked me up and drove me just over the border directly to Bio Dental Care. They greeted me warmly and professionally. After the first day of treatment I was shuttled, only minutes away to the Quartz Hotel. The Quartz has several restaurants and room service so I didn't have to think about where I was going to eat. It also has a beautiful outdoor pool lounge area! My treatment plan went very smoothly! Prior to my trip, I communicated with the staff at Bio Dental via email and by phone. I knew exactly what was going to be done and the cost. I had chosen Bio Dental because they also have the option of metal-free (zirconium) implants. For me this was very important! A dentist is a professional whom cares about the well being of his or her patients. A dentist will ensure that all of his or her work is correctly performed. If the Dr. says to his or her patient. I will place veneers on your teeth and all veneers placed on your left side will be identical to all veneers placed on your opposite right side. And also, they will be pearly white. And just as promised the pacient recieves what they have paid for. A Dentist whom cares about his or her patients will inspect thier own work and after they verify thier work is just as they have promised to thier patient. Then the Dr. will ask his or her patient if they approve the final product. A caring dentist will never ask thier patients if he or she approves the work performed on them. If, let's say the patient was promised all white dental pieces, but instead they recieve somewhat yellowish, very off white colored crowns. Or, let's say the patients left cuspid crown is one inch longer then thier right cuspid crown. These would be very noticeable errors made by the performing profesional from the dental practice. And definetly under no circumstance will any respectable dentist offer the above mentioned product to thier patient when after the patient has undergone numbing of the surgical sites on five different occassions during a same day nine hour surgery procedure period and then have them sign a waiver reading that they are satisfied with the final product. If someone asked me for my opinion on the matter. I'm not all too certain, but that might be considered taking advantage of the patient. I mean, how many times does the poor patient have to plead: Dr! these dental veneers you have placed on me are yellow, uneven, and very noticeably unequal in size. Before more and more dental profesionals step into the room, persuade, and insist that the final product he or she has recieved looks good and he or she should just accept it. No. Instead a good dentist will notice those errors and say to his or her patient. I appologize to you my patient. I cannot offer you these veneers. They have too many noticeable errors I am returning them to the lab at once. To have them redone. So, I offer you this advice. Before entering any dental practice make a list of all question you have for the Dr. And before you get your questioned answered. Ask the Dr. If you can record the conversation and the procedures. Because, no matter what is said during your conversation the only thing that matters are those douments that get signed. read more

I just came back from this dental office a few days ago and I have nothing negative to say, I had four broken teeth with the remaining roots left in which they were able to extract and I had 4 bone graphs done as well.. This team has so far been amazing to me and I hope it ontinues? I feel good at the moment so I'm hoping it's stay's like this. I am writing this concerning the dental establishment 'Biodental Care Tijuana'. I am giving it a low rating from the service in July of 2023 by Dr. Nadia Green. She had no right messing with my healthy teeth. The service I received had been an unnecessary treatment for the the standard procedure of veneers. The impression taken had been a shortcut to grind my lower teeth which had been perfectly fine with no veneers. Dr. Green said it was to accommodate the new veneers (because the old one fell out.) I feel she did a sloppy job, was unprofessional. I was not impressed or happy with the service. My lip was cut where I felt burns. And the new technology called SCAN was not an option for me. Dr. Nadia Green told me it was safe. It made my brain feel weird for a few days like I had dementia and mental confusion. I had a bad reaction from SCAN. As for the old veneer it could've been saved. I felt she didn't need to have given me a new veneer for over $400 for a chip in regular tooth (behind placement for.) Instead of attempting to fix her mistake of the veneer, she messed with my healthy teeth on bottom to use the veneer she made incorrectly. She took the privilege to file down perfect teeth with a tool for veneers on teeth that was not to have filing on. Her statement was that the bottom will interfere with the "new" veneer. To resolve in some way, I called for the owner/manager yet the "office assistant" told me to write a letter and the owner never called me back. read more

The people were nice but the Dentist was terrible. Everytime i neededvan xray they had me walk a block and a half in downtown Tijuana to an office that had an xray machine. The sinus lift they did would heal and they accidentally perforated myvsinus cavity with the implant. I have spent $5,000 dollars repairing the damage they did. Doctor Trejo replaced a filling for me about two years ago. I came with my wife from Irvine California all the way here so we got a tooth fixed and had a tour in Tijuana. We were both very happy. They followed a procedure designed for amalgam removal to remove the silver filling and it was done well. The old filling looked big and awkward while the new fix the doctor made for me looks just like the original tooth. I like it also because it kept more of the original bone on the tooth than a full crown would. Now two years have passed and it's been just good and healthy. The team also spent time to help me learn about the overall condition of my teeth. It's pretty helpful. It's actually a comprehensive consultation. Very professional with lots of details. I initially went for a cavity to have it filled- they ended up telling me I had 6 cavities! I had 2 filled, and for months after the tooth continued to hurt until I went to another dentist who had to reshape the tooth. Bio dental shaved my tooth down too much and shaped it horrible. I don't think this place is holistic as well. The other dentist told me that I also did not have 6 cavities.
